Dear tayloralexis... Unfortunately they don't have the slightest clue what things are worth. Additionally they don't seem smart enough to even research stuff in the internet. 50 bucks for an original 1960's Honda Dax and 50 for a Yamaha Chappy 70? C'mom, that's ridiculous cheap. One could earn a fortune by selling most of the stuff (and still keeping a complete workshop and some running cars and motorbikes). Best regards, luck and health in particular.
@@tayloralexis1504 Dear tayloralexis But you are intelligent! Because that's what an old German saying means: "Die dümmsten Bauern ernten die dicksten Kartoffeln"! (= The stupidest farmers harvest the biggest potatoes) 😁 ;-) Don't know if the translation is correct but I'm sure you know what I mean. Sincerely yours. Post Scriptum: I'm absolutely sure, that even such a seller could have made at the very least two times more money. I wouldn't have sold all that stuff for less than 4 thousand bucks. But of course I would've been able to empty the yellow box truck and get it running and driving. 166000 miles is really not much for such a vehicle.
Giving JunkyardDigs a run for his money with a vid like that! straight out of the gate with not only a well edited video, but a gold mine of opportunity!
A buddy of mine from Tech school in Florida a few years ago lived in one of these mini truck box trucks while we were in school. He was from somewhere in the DC-Virginia area and his parents owned some kind of furniture business or something and he took one of their old box trucks and built it into a camper and rode his motorcycle back and forth to school, it had everything he needed but a bathroom and laundry, so he lived in a RV park that had bathroom and showers and every Friday after we got out of school I would go get him and his clothes and he would come over and do his laundry and we'd hang out throw some food on the grille and have a couple of adult beverages. good times, there's more room in those things than you think.
i absolutely love old toyotas. ive wanted one of these dually trucks for as long as i can remember haha! cant wait to see the transformation this thing undergoes. always nice to see one of these being brought back from the dead!
Came from GHPC stayed because of the quality of the edit and the enthusiasm of Padric and just how genuine he is and how he really loves doing this. In case you're wondering your video has reached me and i'm all the way from the Philippines which is crazy if you think about it. Keep up the good work man!
@ElevatedFabworks heck ya! Good luck and I'm absolutely jealous in every aspet. For me, it's my daily I'm having trouble with. So, for you as a work vehicle, I hope it isn't. AC on a 3800 is a pain to deal with without a garage and proper tools.
@ElevatedFabworks if you have an excuse to make it through Minnesota this winter, we've got rally cars that need co-pilots. Add "winter rally Supra" to your bucket list 🤙
Love the video. The ADHD that kicked in looking at all the stuff he had was all too familiar. Plus the fact you got the truck running and back to your place was awesome.
I liked this video. It is really far from the big sponsored channels with all the corporate limitations and such. Padric is just an honest, easy going, excited guy sharing his adventures; and that is nice. Inspiring even, maybe i'll try to fix my car's horn this weekend after seeing this.
Appreciate it! Glad you liked it. I’d love to get some sponsors for products I’ll use around the shop and even some paid ones to keep the lights on! But time will tell, and hopefully if I do you don’t hate me 🤣
@@ElevatedFabworks not at all man, this is the type of content that deserves it. Hopefully the sponsors can see the potential the same way we, the fans, can. Thanks for the reply man, appreciate it. I'll continue to watch with sponsors if it continues to be this good.
I honestly can't believe how good of camera angles that you found throughout this whole video! Perfect shots of above a gas tank in a mini box truck while changing sending unit? SURE!
At first I was sad you left GHPC, Now i am glad that it happenend. What a good first video! Nice camara angles, good editing and you can explain what you are doing while you are wrenching. Keep up this quality! (No pressure) looking forward for your next adventure.
that place was awesome, so much cool stuff to rummage through... love the truck, looks like an over cab popup tent (on a frame) would go on there a treat leaving the back space for all the activities
Wow you have a lot of eyes on you right now. Tomley RC and others commenting. Big moves man. Keep to your roots. Keep doing what you love and people will stay engaged. Huge fan of yours. Keep on keeping on brotha.
Oh god. The infamous “3.blow” engine. I had a 92 Toyota pickup and after replacing the head gaskets twice I had to get rid of it. Saw you with the GHP crew. Awesome seeing your own channel. Keep em coming! 😁👍🏼
Can’t wait to see what’s next. I have also subscribed to the BUM channel. You kind of showed up not long before he left but I can say that grind hard is definitely why I will follow. You definitely have my attention with your fab work and I would love to see all the overland content you’d add into these videos!! Good luck I hope it all works out for you man
You know it’s gonna be quality content when it makes you want to check the channel every day waiting for a new episode! Even having notifications turned on I’m still searching constantly 🤟
Can’t wait for the build. Just fixed my uncle’s bike that sat for a while. When stuff sits for a while like that it’ll run like crap for a little while till the bad stuff cycles out.
Padric, real happy to see you doing your own thing. The Grind Hard crew is insanely good at what they do and are seriously entertaining as well, but you clearly have your own energy to get this going in your own way. I was watching GHPC at only 5k subs just like 7 years ago, which is no time at all for people who work as hard as you do.
The Bearded Mechanic really needs to visit this guy he would buy all the bikes
Lets get him in here!
💯 get that man there asap
Everyone needs a Craig.

For a first video, this was really well edited, great pace, and super entertaining.

This was like watching American Pickers, and I loved every second of it. Can’t wait to see this channel blow up!
That’s the vibe I was going for! Hahaha
Thought the same thing.
The old guy that owned that place probably has a fuel pump in that shop somewhere for that truck new in the box
You know you’re probably not wrong 🤣

Cool you found that Yamaha Chappy. Had lots of fun with mine. Super reliable. 3000+km trips, no problem
