I can’t even afford to watch this video
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😅
😂😂😂 me too; but I’ll watch it anyway.
I’ve got this video on layaway. I’ll probably watch it around next February 😅.
Same😂😂
Right there with
Thanks for coming over, man! Hopefully, we can do it again soon.
I usually don't get jealous of two men sitting at a table together.... but when I do.
Cris you and Mike are my 2 favorite channels. It's funny watching you go at it. More money than I will ever spend on a pistol but I loved this colab for sure. I've bought a car for what you spent on one of those beauties! Somehow I knew Staccato would be on that list. 🤣🤣
Awesome colab, I watched the colab on your channel too Chris, all that said I have 5 subscribers, so needless to say I'm a big time youtuber as well. And yes id also like to borrow the Laugo alien so I can make a video.
Thanks.
Great job men. You guys make a good team.
@1172603 and all my trucks over the years! 🤣🤣

1911s shouldn't be chambered in anything other than .45 ACP, .38 Super or 10mm Auto.
9mm 1911s are for mallninjas and girls!
Great to see you two making video's together!!!😉🤝🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
The 2 most trusted reviewers collab I never knew I needed
When are you going to get the honest outlaw on mug club with you?!?! Love your content and the honest outlaws content!!! Keep up the great work!!
Just change the title to 5 guns that are to expensive to own
My 2 favorite gun tubers. I share your knowledge and opinions all the time with new shooters
I second that! These guys are awesome
These two and also @TacticalConsiderations
I found that a good entry level 2011 to be Bul armory. The SAS Tac ii light 4.25" has been great for me
Reliable? Tac II owners?
Yyour coments mean what? I dont own one but all I have seen is good reliability. Some insight please
@@jjcrazylegs7081my $400 ria 1911 is reliable....🥲
It's on my short list.
I just picked up a SAS II 3.25 Ultralight last week. Really excited to go put some rounds through it. It is a bit chunkier in the grip than I had anticipated, but getting used to it. It's such a sexy gun.
I instantly clicked on this video because of these two men. Much respect to both. Subscribed to both. Glad to see a collaboration. You guys are awesome!
Try the stealth arms platypus. Semi custom 2011 that takes cheap glock mags and punches around the staccato weight class. I love mine with the 3lb trigger
Cost?
i have so many 9mm pistols that i don't really need, but if i buy another, it's going to be the platypus. if i hadn't gotten rid of all my glock mags when i switched to a different duty pistol, i would have one already!!
I'll be the first one to say it, too rich for my blood. Good video. Thanks. Where's the poors table?
One of you needs to do a review on the Stealth Arms Platypus.
True
I’m sure all of those 2011’s were bought and paid for by Patreon dollars!
My phone jammed while trying to play this video...
These collaborations between content creators are awesome!
Agreed! Fix the ceiling fan
Way cool to see the DYNAMIC DUO again! Great video! KEEP ON ROCKING Chris and Mike!
I know it’s not a 2011 technically, but I think Stealth Arms really sent a shockwave through the gun industry with the Platypus. It accomplishes 98% of Staccato performance & quality but with readily available and cheap G17 mags, and customization directly from the manufacturer. I’m sure they’ve already taken a lot of would-be Staccato customers, including myself.
Much better than the Crowder crossover.
I was going to say that.
Maybe you can teach HO the difference between a giveaway and a raffle.
[paraphrased] "The Laugo Alien has to cost $5-6000 because you're paying for the R&D on a clean-slate design, as opposed to your $300 AR where all the R&D has been recouped over the last 60 years" - makes perfect sense. The Laugo does incorporate a number of brand-new innovations, plus completely re-engineered versions of some proven ideas, which create objective improvements in shootablity.
What about a minute earlier, when you were talking about $4-10K+ guns made to a design where the R&D was recouped over the last 120 years?
Oh, but wait, replacing the hardest-to-machine piece of a steel 1911 frame with cheap plastic makes it a brand new innovation, and therefore _totally_ worth it 🙄🤣
right off the bat, talking about the XC and 2011 guns not being the most reliable, for everyones info
the Ontario Police Department in California just duty wide issued the Staccato XC with RMR HD's and Surefire X300 Turbos.
they obviously tested it enough and it is plenty reliable, enough people on the 1911:2011 forums have paced their Staccatos / XC's through thousands of rounds without issue
the correct statement may be, requires more maintenance than lets say a Glock, but reliability at this point in time and going forward seem to be a relative non issue.
if its good enough for them, its good enough for me, saving up for the XC
also, Staccato in 2024 is supposed to be releasing new models of the C2 and possibly the P, updated possibly like how the CS was upgraded
also saying the C2 is anywhere remotely close to something like the XC is absurd, the XC is the best pistol I have ever shot, it literally does not move, my Staccato C2 had a ton of recoil, felt like more than my SIG Macro, My G19x with radian comp shot flatter than C2 with cheely grip / heritage P / Atlas, only the XC outperformed it
I just found out today that the Scheels in Iowa is carrying Atlas now. The trigger on their display gun was by far the lightest trigger I have ever felt, and the slide was definitely the smoothest I have ever cycled as well. Idk, if it's worth the $5k price tag, but it was noticeably smoother than the Staccato I tried immediately before it.
Fantastic, as always!
Actually the Prodigy has come down in price. 1299 for the 4.25” and 1199 for the 5”. I’ve put $0 in upgrades on my 4.25” and have had zero malfunctions. I guess Springfield has figured it out.
love the collabs guys.....spread the word in our community.....do more....semper fi
Thank you! Will do!
I thoroughly enjoyed this team up review. I follow both of you for years and still I learned a lot about the top tier 2011 platform. Keep up the great work gentlemen!
Honest Outlaw what do think about Nighthawk 2011s and Why do you never review Nighthawks Handguns ??? Was just wondering Thanks Outlaw love your videos
In real world, for range, Rock Island Armory Rock Ultra FSHC Single 10mm 5 16+1. For carry Kimber KDS9c
I can’t afford anything on this video
You two guys are my two favorites in the industry. Thank you both for all the product knowledge and education over the years. I'm glad you guys could connect for a video together.
Thank you
I'll stick with my "2011" a 12 year old Para Ordnance P14-45. If the new 2011's are Formula 1 guns I'd say my Para is more of a road course Nascar
Not sure about Atlas’s 10-12 week lead time. Currently have been waiting 20+ weeks for my 2011 from them.
My two favorite ❤UA-cam gunmen! Imagine you two appearing together in an action 🎬🎉movie... Kill the bad guys and protect the weak😊👍
Throwing down more than $4K on a handgun and it’s not even reliable is pure idiocy
2011s are pure idiocy.
1911s are meant to be and were designed to be .45 ACPs.
Check out the Apollo 11 by Live Free Armory. Fantastic weapon, sub 1k
I think it's super cool you guys are collaborating. I follow both of your channels and enjoyed this, as well as the reliable pistols video over on Chris' channel.
Mike is such a humble dude.
Agree.
Get a Truth Social account. Mike is a good man but he comes out of his youtube shell on Truth. He has freedom there.
@@minivanman007 I have one just haven't followed him there yet. Thanks for the tip. What's his accounts name?
@@30rdMAGA-vl9ul search Mrgunsandandgear and it will come up. Thats how I found him. He is able to post things he can't on youtube.
the DWX guns are pretty amazing and a great alternative to the 2011 grip for those with smaller hands.
I just got one last week. Haven't run a lot of rounds through it but seems to be really nice and should be for the price. Down side to me is why they didn't come out with a optic ready one is beyond me. I belive the gun will do very well.
Haven't had a chance to hold a DWX yet. My local shop didn't have one when I was in. It's still on the potential buy list but it's now behind a 308 bolt gun. That list keeps growing and my munitions budget stays the same. Generally I can safely budget 1 reasonable firearms related purchase each year be it guns, optics, upgrades for current inventory, etc.
No optics cut (recent convert) and no rail for a light for the compact carry DWX swayed me not to get it.... I really was looking forward to it, until I saw their lack of standard options
@icarusflight2396 good point.
@@icarusflight2396 I didn't know the compact doesn't come with a rail......wow I was thinking about looking for the compact because I love the full size. Nevertheless I may still go for one because I don't do the super cool carry a light on my carry gun thing.
Seen you on LWC great job happy to follow you
26:05 "please help out your local homeless shelter, and remember to recycle, check ya later. ♻️ 👊🇺🇲🍻"
I'll take my BUL Armory because of price point. I can't afford the others.
Back in the STI days you could get a 2011 for less than 3000 and a open racegun for 5k. Inflation has reached the 2011 guns as well
I would never buy any of these, I don’t know why I’m watching lol.
Do some hi points next please.. Something us poors can relate too.
Taurus G3C and a Star BM are much better on the cheap!
I haven't had any issues with my prodigy since changing its spring to a heavier one honestly. I did get the 5 though. Tempted to try a nighthawk drop in trigger on it though and basically just upgrading it to a toolless guide rod for quality of life and likely a slide stop for the same reason since it's kind of recessed in that grip its got. I do know they mentioned it being undersprung especially for the bigger one though. I personally think it was a great entry into the 2011 game since after a 15$ upgrade everything else is just qol/customization for me. I'd rather have a cheaper gun and figure out what I like/don't like and want in one than to get in deeper and figure it out that way, then just refine later on if I want to sell/trade for something I like more or just put some work in.
Major Gucci! Really appreciate watching when guys like you two join up to share knowledge. Seems like every guy out there has their niche
Cz is the way to go if you want a more realistically priced competition gun. The 2011s are cool, though. doesn't get any better looking than a 1911
Canik too.
2011 prices are dumb.
rock island tac ultra, i also have the rock island " big rock", they run great. would highly reccomend checking them out, i have also been eyeballing tanfoglio witness 2311.
send the rock island double stack to hayes custom for RIA job and its a different gun when you get it back
Honest Outlaw coming to Mug club too? Shoot man ima have to sign up.
Haven’t seen much on the full size DWX was curious if the was going to make an appearance in this video
Hey! Two of my favorite Guntubers in one place talking about something I have been recently interested in getting. Nothing but good stuff here.

So basically...just get a 1911 instead...or a CZ Shadow 2. 😜
Great video gentlemen. I love my 2019 Staccato P. I will never get rid of it. The price for entry is a bit steep, but it’s worth it.
I had an STI 2011 for competition for a few months. I switched back to my Glock 35 for limited after some crazy malfunctions in a big match in texas. I am now reconsidering the Staccato because they finally got them right. Thanks
1 more 4 the AlGoreRhythym💪🤙🇺🇸
Trying to explain to people that the difference between a staccato and high end 2011 isn’t all that much, it’s mostly in the experience rather than performance. The staccato is a great option. I’m curious to see what the 2011 alternatives like the 2311 and platypus will do to drive the market as well. The 2311 especially looks promising due not only to the 320 magazines, but the chassis system. A 4” 2311 with a full size and compact grip, if it turns out to be a good gun could be a solid option for someone wanting just one gun but filling the role of a carry gun as well as a range/competition gun.
Great collab here. Thanks to you both for the awesome vid!
Cool video. I'm glad the C2 made the list 😄
Watching my two favorite you tube reviewers together talking shop was a great idea. Wish you both the best. Keep your powder dry.......
Thoughts on Nighthawk TRS Comp?
I really enjoy both of yours honesty in all your reviews! Keep up the good work. fyi the mec gars that Wilson uses for the double stack Wilsons run perfectly. I took a brand new SFX9, with only maybe 100 rds and ran it thru a Gunsite School with not an issue
Didn't look like you were getting much lockback on those mags in the demo shooting.
I have a shield plus performance center with a four inch barrel and I think that's nice. I can't even imagine what these guns feel like.
The sheild plus are pretty nice man..I love mine
Holy fudge nuggets Batman!!!
My two most watched gun tubers. You guys are great! So glad you linked up to make this and the video and the one I saw on Outlaws channel.
Never forget the USS Liberty and the men who diëd on that day
Give him a g17 with irons he would probably do better.
Yeah, 1911 .45s are legendary. I would never own one in 9mm.
Need a review on the Platypus.
You’ve got try a Stelth Arms 1911 Platypus. A 2011 that takes Glock mags and after market Glock mags like the MagPul . Oh and By the way it’s not 3k plus it’s $1700.00 and runs like 3k gun .
Need a good 10mm option
How about Bull Armory 2011’s?? Any thoughts? Review possibly?
If or when that 4.25" TAC II Pro comes out, that would be a good review.
Good collab. The Glock 17.5 and the Staccato P are my go to guns. My Staccato P has a factory threaded barrel and has been 100% reliable with a Surefire Ryder 9Ti2 on it. One thing I like about suppressing the 2011 is that you can field strip the gun and not have to remove the Suppressor from the barrel.
This video makes me so happy lol Chris will convert folks to the 2011 life quick
Laugo arms alien pistol you can mount several different red dot one of them being the sigsauer Romeo, 3 XL C-more optics. And a few other brands The original red dot works extremely well. Unfortunately some people forget to unlock it before doing any of the adjustments and they end up messing it up. I’d really love the alien pistol for its uniqueness. Every time I shoot it I compare it to my other weapons is always a lot more fun shooting that one I love the 2011’s, but the alien pistol some thing about it gives everyone a great time shooting it.
Anyhow, if you want to replace the optics, just Google it, you will see there is quite a few of them that takes the exact same footprint, and looks extremely well on it. Great video by the way.
Been looking into 2011s the last few months - this was a good one!
I love all the jealousy-riddled crybabies complaining about the prices of these guns. Here's an idea. Learn how to save money & make sacrifices. I've been saving for 6 months to buy a Shadow Sytems MR920P ($1070-$1100), the trigger mod I want to add to it (Ranger Proof Vex shoe, discount code SD20, $72.50 w/shipping & Overwatch Precision minus connector $27, shipped), the light I want (Streamlight TLR-1HL, $158 w/tax & shipping) & a Dara level 2 holster ($180-$200). I've sacrificed my $90 a week range trips (3 boxes of ammo & $30 range fees), going out to eat as much as I usually do, etc.
Basically, saving money is not a hard thing to do. Its a discipline thing. Making jokes about how expensive all these guns are is 1 thing. Hating on the guy for saving his money & spending it on what he loves, as well as what he uses as his tools to compete, & make money doing so, only shows how petty, small, & infantile you are.
Ummmm.....I honestly don't even care about that Cheetah review now. 😜 I'm pretty sure I'm hooked on these type of pistols but I realize I probably will never own one....😂 I was really hoping to get a BUL ARMORY 3.25 UL tac comp but it's at $1800 but with them being "selling direct to consumer" I'm not sure they have a payment plan like some FFLs...🤔
That table of 2011s is just amazing and definitely drool worthy, he's got one great collection and he's very well knowledge in the field too! I'm always learning something new from HO!
Are you kidding me?
This is like a Sig P226 X-5 (classic) and a HK P7M13!!!
Cindy Crawford and Pamela Anderson!!!
American Lager and Colorado Stout!!!

PSA JAKL and a Daniel Defense DDM4v9!!!
And dammit..... I don't have time to watch it. MF!!! WTH!!!!
Love the collaboration between my two favorite UA-cam gun people!!!!!!!!
Thankyou guys...would love to get 2011 platform to build for competition shooting...upgrade or customising
Getting into 2011s is a slippery slope. I wish I’d never shot my buddy’s Staccato P.
Now I dream about it….
It makes sense to trade in a bunch of crap for one of these 2011s.
Knowing Chris I figured he would have said Atlas anything and left it at that. 🤡
Great to see the laugo alien included. 2011's are great. At the high end price point though there are so many other options to consider.
I love the continued prodigy hate, I have P, C2 , MPA open gun and 5 inch prodigy. The 5 inch prodigy is still my favorite gun. It’s incredibly flat, and the gun is nearing the 30k round mark, I’ve shot somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 local matches with it and about 1,000-1,500 a month jb practice for the last 2 years I’ve owned it. It continues to preform regardless of what ammo I stuff in it. I can legitimately say I’ve had more malfunction on my c2 in 5,000 rounds than I’ve had on my prodigy in 27-30k. I’ve had 2 failure in my c2. My prodigy still cost less than my P. Soooooo yeah.
Ah hell yea!! Im excited for this cross over and this topic! Thanks to both of you guys for the great content
Hey Honest Outlaw,
What's up Man? You should really do a 1000 Round Review of the Alpha Foxtrot S15 1911 that uses Shield Arms s15 magazines and PSA Micro Dagger 15 round Magazines. The Alpha Foxtrot S15 is an affordable version of the Wilson Combat SFX-9 3.25".
Why these over CZ, Tangfolio, Jericho, Sphinx? Heavy, double stacked 9mms?
Wow al that money and in PUNY 9MM HA HA HA HA
Real men don't mess with 9mm 1911s.
That's a gamers game!
Nice as Allways. I have so small hands so i don’t hav an 2011. Just test som. But i love my STI Target master in 9 and 45acp.
And my shadow 2
Resently get a Alien just for the fun. I don’t have ipcs licens. Only national shoting for me. Live in Sweden. But i did’t lite the triggerpull on the Alien. Way to hard and dragy. So change the sear spring och reshape the the hammergrip. So now it’t 1.56kg and our mini limit is 1.36kg. Otherwise is a Nice gun. But for precision shoting 25m i only use my STI.
And the Alien and shadow 2 fore field shoting.
I'm a big fan of Outlaw. Don't always agree but I know the man is being honest. Hard to ask for more than that.
The shirt saying come and get it in Russian is spelled incorrectly. It's supposed to be "Приди и возьми"
Otherwise, I have been convinced to save for a Stocatto. Probably the P for everyday carry to replace my Sig Xten
You know I frankly do not understand for the life of me why upgrade a $2500-$6000 for trigger, grip, ported barrel etc... Doesn't make since to me for that amount of money as far as I'm concern its not worth buying if upgrades are necessary. You buy a Staccato and put a Atlas trigger and pay $300-$600 for a grip as far as I'm concern its not a true Staccato. May as well purchase a Atlas or Infinity. I get it saving cost but the manufacture does this for a reason. I shot both polymer and metal grips and to be honest I found the polymer grips were more comfortable absorbed more hand less concussed.😎
Since I'm too poor to afford a 2011 (not really, but can't justify $7k on a gun I know that will come down significantly in price with a little more time), I just built out a P320 race gun style. Tungsten frame, gas pedal takedown, comped, etc. It might not be quite as good as these 2011s, but it's pretty darn close and cost a whole lot less.
The Erebus actually went up in price. I bought mine for 6000 bucks. Yes, it hurt. But it’s my daily range gun on steel. Like any Ferrari, it can be picky. It gets really dirty very quickly because of the compensator. Add about 3000 rounds. I had to have it deep cleaned because it was gunking up the trigger bow. But man can it shoot.
@@jaceprovo I would hope that a $6k gun can shoot well 🤣
Dang, so the Springfield is really that bad? Still? I waited 10-12mo to get my p365 and was hoping by now the 1911ds was ready to buy. I wanted something larger than my daily p365 since times are crazy but maybe I will just get a p320 instead.
Wait no Wilson combat EDC 9, SFX9 or SFXT9? Another DICK RIDING staccato review
What no nighthawks??!!?? Lol anyway I have a 5in prodigy and have not had any issues. Well I had one mag issue but gunn runs great. It feels clunky compared to my xc but way cheaper.
The Jimmy Neutron & Timmy Turner Episodes 😂😂😂❤ #dressed2kill 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Most of these beautiful guns are out of my price range. Lol.. Would you be able to do a similar review of 1911 DS/2011 handguns under $2000?
V porting for comps? "The old ones didn't have that". The 32C had that back in late 1990s maybe 2000 was the last year.... I guess what is recent to you maybe?
