The B18C is a legendary engine with an amazing horsepower per liter that the golf can't match, and the golf is 470kg heavier and only 50 horsepower more. And most importantly, who drives DC2? )))) Legend of legends!!! The best pilot!! It seems to me that if Keiichi Tsuchiya rode a bicycle, he would go around everyone sideways in a turn and win the race)))

You could tell the dc2 was designed to be a straight out the box track car and the dc5 was designed to be a tuners car. I love the look of the dc2 more but if you were to give the dc5 lower and stiffer suspension, it already has the hp and tq, it'd be so much better
well the dc2 was cranked up a very little. probably like 10-20 hp. not much. the dc5 and r32 were both stock. I've heard that this body style was a lot heavier than the other r32. it was keeping up and cornering well. so it stood a chance the entire time. it's just at the end of the day it became driver vs driver and it just didn't pull off the w.

No way. I’ve owned all four (mk4 R32 & Gti, mk5 R32 & Gti, as well as a polo gti 9n3). The mk4 R32 was by far the best car of the lot. Very well made, felt amazing to drive, plus the sound, a very special car.

DC2's driver is wrong he has not the lowest displacement because the colt R is a 1.5L what do you expect of a 150hp car against those car ? Give it a remap to make 190hp at least to compete
@@illewmenadeh722 I don't think so, in its standard form perhaps but the colt 1.5 is given at 197ps in switzerland with no specific power upgrade, mapping only, 200bhp for a 1.5 turbo (which is what everyone gets after a remap) is quite decent, it's main defect is it's suspension, which call for a set of coilovers !

The mk4 R32 was by far the best car of the lot. Very well made, felt amazing to drive, plus the sound, a very special car.
