You all prolly dont care but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account..?
I stupidly lost my password. I love any help you can give me
@Wilson Ray Instablaster =)
@Mohammad Aaron thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and im trying it out now.
I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Mohammad Aaron it worked and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thank you so much you really help me out !
@Wilson Ray no problem =)
the integra is an amazing car
@3RT 3.2l Boxer got tq, but no top end for its weight. Engine sucks. Big liter don't always mean everything. Some people just don't get it. Unless its a v8.

Gansan is simply awesome. I feel like if someone else drove the Integra, it would’ve surely been further back. He drives it to it’s limits.
Exactly how you should drive an integra!
He extracts the last droplets of juice from it, yet controlling it with such smoothness, it's marvelous.
That’s how Hondas are supposed to be driven
Hard to believe this was now more than 20 years ago! The S2000 in particular still looks fresh and attractive. Better than modern Hondas in fact! And the Boxster has since lost its lovely flat six engine. Sad times :-(
The flat six is back again.
The interior sound in the S2k and Inte R is superior!
less refined, you mean
Ive have/had both, the AP1 & DC2-R. They both sound amazing when your hitting 9k rpm.
Both of my cars are/were built N/A motors. The only oem components left were the cranks.
The teg puts down 217whp at 9000. the S2k put down 237whp@9200*. both had major weight reductions and were nearly completely gutted. The soft top of the s2k was removed & replaced with a (real) mugen hardtop.
(*The cars were tuned on different dynos.)
In the real world both were very quick but the s2k was much quicker. I wouldnt have been surprised if they were capable of breaking into the 12's on slicks.
Anyway, the AP1 was a victim of the the notorious "rearend snap" when i was merging from a redlight onto a hwy; summer tires on a below freezing late november morning=my ap1 rearend slammed into a guardrail.
But ill never forget the sound of that ap1 with its j's racing intake, bc stg2 cams,12.1cr pistons, j's racing header & test pipe all flowing through a 3" hks single! God i wish a had made more videos of that thing in action. Driving on mountain or canyon roads with that exhaust wailing was absolutely ridiculous.

Probably one of their best races. I wish Toyota kept improving their performance cars, but unfortunately a lot of people don’t want to buy brand new Japanese sports coupes anymore so it wasn’t sustainable.
You know Toyota's investing a lot on the new Supra, right? Gazoo Racing is a thing. Also, Japanese coupes are still wanted by a lot of people: just look at the 370z, still in production nowadays!
Yeah look at the 370Z and then look at its sales. Less than 4000, hell more people are buying miatas and Cameros than new 370Z’s. The new Supra is half baked in its current state, BMW parts bin and automatic only, maybe in a middle cycle refresh when it grows some balls and a stick shift. Gazoo Racing still means absolutely nothing if they don’t sell the any of the actual damn performance cars. They’re still playing with Yaris’s. When’s the last time you saw a pure Toyota performance coupe with over 250 horsepower on the street? Their GRMN line is like Nissan’s current Nismo, its better than base models but it’s still nothing dedicated to actual track racing performance like STi, Type R, M and N.

Gan Ji was really awesome. I used to drive InteR and it was a breakthrough of FF car not like all others despite too stiff in wet condition.
I feel like the only reason the Celica mir range is so lacking is because it activates lift too late. It's difficult to get in the power band and time it with the corners. You're effectively 140bhp for half the race. With a good time it would be a lot better but the engine is designed for economy as well as speed
I agree. It's a shame since the chassis seems incredibly capable.
@@jimmyjump8543 That's true! Or just run the same tune Lotus used on the Elise. Revised timing and a 9k redline would probably do it without taking the head apart.
@@jimmyjump8543 Lift engagement is the same in the Lotus but the increased redline means every time you upshift you stay within the power band. An extra 800 rpm does wonders.
@@jimmyjump8543 I just looked it up. The engineers at Lotus tuned the Elise to rev safely up to 8,500. Same engine internals as the Celica just a bit of wizardry from the boys at Hethel. Check it out. That extra bit of rev range helps.
@@jimmyjump8543 Building the head would probably be the best option, I agree.
The Integra is in the way of the Boxster and S2000 doing faster laps. You can see they are quicker all over the place, especially under braking. They would go much faster but they obviously aren't trying to crash into each other

Not necessarily true there bud. Both are nearly dead on at 2800 lbs.
Also, that 3.2l M96 was intentionally neutered by Porsche. It is completely identical to the 3.4 911 motor except the bore and the intake/exhaust. By intake I mean all the way from the MAF/filter to and including, the intake manifold. Swap those, add headers of almost any design (Stock ones are literally the smallest I have ever seen on a 6 cylinder.) swap the MAF and get a 996 flash (to compensate for the airflow and larger MAF diameter) and you're talking about a car that will make 260hp... at the tires. With big brakes and wide tires available. It's extremely conservative from the factory... Not to discount what an awesome car the S2k is, but the Boxster given the right motor treatment (including IMS upgrade/replacement) to get to the 300hp line, and some pads and rubber would eat an S2k on most tracks
Production:
Honda S2000 (1999-2009): 110,673 units
Porsche Boxster 986 (1996-2004) : 160,578 units
And the Boxster still in production...

7:49 integra rotation is insane, still the best FWD ever made in my opinion.
Out of all these cars, the S2000 would be the one to benefit the most from better tires. Its chassis is stiffer and more balanced, even the peeky engine in made for ultimate grip chasing.
Also, speaking from experience... better tires on this car make it so so much faster and fun :)
Even like that could have been easily won if ITR was not blocking every breaking point
@gt7984 they are not quite even. In fact S2k did 1:08 in some battles while Itr usually does 1:10 . When is not driven by Gan-san.
@lillian75t what do you mean by better tires ? Semislicks ? Do you realize they are stock cars on OEM tires ? And speaking about original tires S02 i have also on my S2k are the best street tires ever made ! I did hundred of laps on track comparing tires. Nothing like S02 in the street category.
@@justanothertroll9205 there is nothing more to say if you didn't get it the first time around
@@lillian75t yea . I understood. But better street tires doesn't exists. Non stock cars on semi-slick tires like Ad07 did sometimes slower laps in the show. I highly doubt you ever beat the shtt out of an Ap1 with these tires on track to have a clue what you are talking about.

Damn, Toyota. I can understand the MrS having a disadvantage from the get go with only 140 hp. But the top of the line Celica with 200hp? What I gathered was the car itself is good; It has good balance and is very capable. They really should have just thrown a camry motor in there, as well as the mr2. The cars are so light, they need just a little torque, which the 1zz and 2zz do not have.
UnitiveWILLIAM24 this isn’t the top of the line Celica, The ST205 GT4 is and quite frankly it would spank all these cars 😂😂😂 plus u can tell this video is rigged the Celica has more power, more torque, and is 200 pounds lighter then the integra yet the integra can pull on a Porsche with it only having 130 pound ft of torque and the Celica is half a lap back 😂😂😂😂
DO YOU EVEN READ. YOU SAID 200 LBS LIGHTER. WOW THE INTEGRA IS STILL LIGHTER BY 45 LBS!!!!

Yeah, my celica sucks when it's not in lift as well. It's a great type r competitor otherwise. Lower center of gravity and confidence inspiring handling. Decent car, but an under-executed engine. The VTEC's are superior.
guyred99 I wish Toyota never stopped making them. They probably be really powerful NA cars now.
Rich MA70 wow respect man, and agree that 2zz is under executed, when does that lift kick in again? around 6,800? not sure. Maybe a tune may help.
On mine lift is 5900 or so.
Rich MA70 oww my bad, cuz the corolla xrs lifts like 6,800 or something.
they failed when they copied honda design, tney were doing just fine with 3sge engineering.. They could of continued to build upon the Altezza motor. But instead they went for economic engine with low torque and decent power. a 6th gen version of 3sge would of been on par with k20....

How is the Inte R so good every time?!
Wow people, displacement doesn't mean anything, it's how you use it. the 986 boxter is pretty much the same car as the 996 911, but intentionally de-tuned to make sure it always under the brand flagship. The 996 has more or less the same power as nsx
Also honda could probably tune s2000 more and make it a type r, but no can't have it touching the nsx (yes I'm a bit salty there's no s2k type r)
It's something that has happened throughout the ages. Even today the cayman is intentionally given a detuned engine and worse factory specs overall otherwise it'd perform bettee than the flagship 911
I love honda

I’ve got both dc2 r and s2000
How is it that the S2000 is short a full liter and two cylinders on the Boxster and yet they both make near identical power?
Man from Nantucket Higher compression. much higher RPM too. S2000 revs to 10k. Boxter has more low down down torque. S2000 has to be driven very hard. Honda used to focus on very high revving engines.
how is it that honda fans only look at peek hp lmao
makes peak power at 8300rpm and redline is somewhere at 9,000rpm.
Porsche : 3.2 L Turbo Mid Enegine,
Honda 2.2L NA Front VTeC enegine !
Honda beated porche on this one
Porsche isn't a Turbo and the S2000 is a F20 it's a 2.0L
My dream is having a R dc2
If only it was the 2ZZ Spirit MR-S...
Hondas were faster, more beautiful and sounded better
The celica deserved a better driver
Lol a 1.8 is faster than a 3.2 so embarrassing for porsche
+Alex Rorrison No its not, the Integra driver was REALLY defensive, soo it would take more time to overtake it, besides the Boxster driver wasn't the best there, He lost some apex's and braking points, while the guy of the S2000 was really smother and the Integra was slowing the Porsche each corner
+Márcio Azevedo correct that is circuit racing. the Integra is a really really capable circuit car but the boxster did have a better lap time both time attack and in the race but the difference wasn't that big so overtaking will never be easy an usually requires a mistake from the driver in front. The S2000 and Porsche Boxster were the fastest cars there according to time attack and that is pretty impressive for the "only" 2l 4cyl S2000 vs the 3.2l 6cyl Boxster :)
+Márcio Azevedo Actually stock ITR's racing here have been doing low 1.09's on best motoring videos..
+Amun TOO nobody is asking
As stated above... the 3.2 Boxster was intentionally detuned to ensure it didn't hurt 911 sales... Give it that extra 50hp and the midrange torque the same era 911 had and this would have been a very different story. Personal experience, the '00 S is geared VERY tall as well. something like 65 maybe a bit more in second. Not ideal for this track... But as I recall the s2k is geared similarly by MPH due to the high redline.
"Granpa is really serious!"
😂
Which one of these cars are still on road today that's the real winner 🏆
DC2 power 💪💪💪
I love both cars (well Caymans more than Boxters) but also I just would like to appoint that that's a late model s2000 which was the epitome of honda's learning in fwd cars for almost two decades. While that boxter was the first of its name, nothing to do with the 914,nor the 928 obviously, and it was the ENTRY level, not the s version.
S2000 is rwd
The boxster is the S
@@kingofthewestmidlands4049 I'm sorry I was sure I was clear about my thoughts. What I meant Is that after almost two decades learning on their type R cars, all of them fwd, s2000 was Honda's best regular car (NSX is in supercar division), apologize for my poor accuracy.
@@rivahoff actually it's the AP1 the first version of the S2000. But yes, Honda has RWD experience from the S600 / S800 etc but so does Porsche, the Boxter has a lot of 911 influence as well as the engine.
インテは98モデルですね。S2000は筑波はギア比合わないんですよ。ダンロップ下とか。
What if?, If Integra have 4 Wheel Steering System. It's will be faster or slower ?
Gan san is a boss
That's a bit disappointing. After hearing how the 00' Boxster S would outhandle the BMW Z3M, I was expecting it to be quicker. Time attack for the Porsche is at 1:09:44 Vs the BMW Z3M's 1:08:39 putting the Z3M at one whole second faster... A shame the Z3M/Z4M Coupe never got a CSL Treatment since the E46 M3 CSL did so well in Best Motoring too.
i mean the Z3M has a lot more HP and chassis / suspension will not be that bad, although this track is not power dependant, such a large HP is a lot. And the Boxter S got heavier and they didn't really upgrade breakes or suspension (not very much at least). There are also races where the standard Boxster beats the S2000. Driver has also a big influence, not that some are better than the others but some are ready to take more risks.
@@binskee677 After owning multiple Z3Ms for 8 years I can tell you chassis is not that bad, it's worse.
It makes a Miata feel tight.
Even the Boxster S is far lighter than the Z3M.
Boxster S also puts more power on the road than an apples to apples comparison would suggest due to the MR layout, while the Z3M would have the advantage at the utmost top end. (And it's a very glorious Top End past 6,000 rpm all the way to 7,600rpm)
But yeah, a bit disappointing considering Tsukuba is such a technical track.
Inte r has less power and is FF yet held its own. Integra is the best ff car ever made
Did Tsuchiya legit honk the horn at 3:28?😂
Gansan is a beast
I still love my 2zz Celica even thought its slower..leather seats, clima, sunroof, lightweight, trc vsc, 8300rpm...its so much fun..itss just needs a tuning like ecu, i/h/e to compete with these fucking Hondas
Just add those basic bolt-ons with a ecu tune and you should feel the difference. The extra 10-15whp is not a lot but it will wake up the engine. I would do some weight reduction as well. Lighter wheels, remove rear seat, trunk carpet/tire, lightweight battery etc. Weight reduction makes a huge difference in NA cars. I remember my 92 Civic VX h/b weighs next to nothing compared to my 94 Integra RS.
@@itsatrap4986 yeah especially lowering the high cam profile is aa good start eg 5700rpm is a good start. increasing rev limiteer to 8500rpm from 8250 stock is good as well. i did a bit of weight reduction no back seats..plastics,reserve wheel etc
I hear a lot of people critisizing about the 1.8L FF car, people are not mechanics and dont understand that the integra is worth gold, à 2.2L and 3.2L should overtaked him in streigt easy, but Integra showed his streight in all ability's, Integra is a 4 seater ! Has a big back, economic enegine and fun to drive, beating s2000 and Porshe in some cases... What do you guys want more? Stop driving Prius then comment shit
Integra was always much slower car than S2k. Even in this vid s2k has best time/lap. It has no space to pass. Is surely the best 1.8 Na ever but S2000 is miles ahead by any means
How's 200hp integra keeping up with 250 s2000 on the straights?
And why is the 200hp Toyota equal to 100hp mrs Toyota on straights? The battle is completely scripted because it doesn't make any sense.
MR2 has 140ps and under 1000 kilo. Celica is 200ps and heavier. It also needs to be in the highest rev range above 6k to take advantage of the extra power. Could be a number of factors. But doesn't seem overly scripted.
the S2000 was catching up to the Integra and the Porsche was catching up to both but the straight is just not long enough, the integra can corner faster than the S2000 and the Boxster, has a higher corner exit speed and most important, can break later and less as it can carry more speed through the corner. The integra is stiffer than the S2000 and much stiffer than the Boxster with great suspension tuning. It's the best front wheel drive sports car ever made + the driver took a lot of risks to defend hard.

@@lillian75t If you judge the cars by one metric alone (lap times) then yes you would conclude the Japanese cars are better value. But most people don't buy cars for the sole purpose of doing track days, they buy them as daily drivers. In that environment the uncompromising and spartan Type R is not so good and many people would prefer the refinement and relative luxury of the Porsche. The S2000 sits somewhere in between. @@soundseeker63 I also agree with you on the Type-R being somewhat spartan, but if you look at its direct competitors, it's by far the easiest to live with (comfort, practicality...).

@@giancarlolugo9586 people wanting new fast cars they pay those money. I can't afford a new expensive car anyway. But FWD Honda for time attacks it's just as good or better than RWD at the same power. Obvious for drifting are useless. But this Best Motoring show it's all about time/lap
@@justanothertroll9205 well you said you have a S2000 that's fantastic but in my case I'm not in the FWD cars
1-If I want pass a corner with style I drive a RWD for drift
2-If I want pass the corner more faster with more control and better ratio I drive a AWD
I dont hate the hondas for the track
just those civic tuners that are arrogant and they build for the highway I have a friend he has a RX7 FC we saw a moron that said OOH I have a 650hp civic we stopped to check his car and yes under the hood we looked a K20A with turbo so my friend challenged him the FC of my friend only have 340hp but even that my friend defeated that civic guy because the rotary engines are better for rev less power but the revs and torque respond better and the ratio its just like in the case of honda spoon cars those spoon hondas beat cars with more power under the hood But in the case of my friend's FC vs that Turbo civic it was more about the skills to shift

Well I have both own a s2000 and Boxster S that i still own today and i can tell you guys a S2000 its not faster than a Boxster s.. I should say the laptime time diffent should be more likely 2 second to the Boxster favor
i have owned both too, actually i moved from a S2000 to the Boxter S and then back to the S2000 because it's more fun to drive. The Boxter is faster on a straight line but the S2000 is much more precise, rotates better and faster on turns and better on the breaks. It also has a much better suspension and is stiffer imo. On a track like Hockenheim, yes the Boxster is much faster but on a track like Tskuba i would say they are eaqual with the S2000 maybe even a slight advantage. Never the less, these races are just for entertainment and cannot be taken for face value, all the drivers are very good but some drivers take more risks and the other not so it's not scientific.
@@binskee677 yeah the S2000 is of course a really good car also, but I still say that the boxster is faster arround a track as long as original setup with tires etc,...the spec on the S2000 seems to be a little diffrent from what we have here in Europe, here we have 241 hp on the S2000 in that video they claime 250 and maybe other things is also diffrent on the S2000. When the s2000 and the boxster S was new, you could buy a S2000 and a Prelude for the same price as a Boxster S here in my location..
@@Portispro yea in Japan they have 250hp due to higher compression. I would say it depends on the track, Suspension and breaks were imo better on the S.
yeah if you refer to the boxster S, indeed they have stronger better breaks, same brakes as the carrera.. So I say that you get what you are paying for
@@Portispro i wouldn't say they were stronger, definitly bigger though and that helps with cooling yes but on these 5 laps both breaks are at least equal imo. But it's also a setup thing, the Honda was setup much sharper in the beginning thus also much more dangerous to drive for normal drivers (but much better to drive for a racecar driver) where even the Boxter S was set up so that everyone can drive it without killing themselves. In the end it's small things that make the difference and engineering wise the Honda was at least as good or even better than the Boxster and performance wise both should be equal imo just that the S is much harder to drive at the limit due to the setup. Change the setup on the Porsche and it will be faster than the S i agree but then it will be harder to drive as well.
One day I'll fully convert mine to a Sport-M or will get my hands on one.
It's not worth it to convert one to a Sports-M, unless you get one already a Sports-M, you can get better power and handling from aftermarket brands to your current GT-S.
I have driven one and it felt like a completely different car to the standard model because of those increased weld spots and suspension components.
It really is that good 👍 the engine just sucks unfortunately

Whats done to the itr? As much as i love them they are no match for a s2000 or boxster s in a straight line, not even close.....
As you can see in the video, it was much slower on the straight
@@binskee677 not sure what race you were watching but they were 100% even on the long straights.
@@jax9074 ok "much" slower was the wrong word but in one lap the integra, S2000 and the Boxter are side by side and you can see the S2000 coming closer to the integra and the boxter closer to both of them. But as i said, the straights are so short it was just for a brief moment and both immediately lost on the breaks as both weight more than the integra. HP difference only plays a role on higher speeds which they cannot reach on Tskuba
That foot brake to accelerator looks difficult
