Mikael K i actually had round lights on 1.8 si dc2 1994 well I still have a bit of a problem with dc1/dc2 thing but as far as I know my one was dc2 because of engine on it.
I prefer civic type r’s looking like EK9 and FD2, but not EP3 and the shitty FN2. DC2 is the best looking integra type r anyway(especially with a carbon hood and mugen rear wing). Luckily many of them in Hong Kong
dannyb20 vtec first itrs had the same final but 98+ spec had 4.7 vs old 4.4.. It will benefit keeping the motor in the powerband. You hear the driver of the ek9 complain that the car wouldn't even be in vtec going up hill with the 4.4. If he had the 4.7 it would go up the hill much easier and be in vtec and actually pulling. Since it's only a 1.6L lacks torque the 4.7 will do wonders by eliminating some of that torque less feel. Corner exit will also improve.
I think the problem goes further than that and there's a gear ratio missmatch. Even if you change from 4.4 to 4.7, there's still a gap in between the gears if the car falls out of VTEC after shifting up which is what happened on that uphill portion. Changing to a 4.7 final drive will help give some more torque, but without moving the gear ratios closer to each other the car will still fall out of VTEC.

Dc2 with round frontlights is for me best looking ff car ever released in Japan, had one and loved it.
They didn't make jdm dc2's with the round front lights after 1994 though.

Here in Canada I have a 2002 turbo RSX-S with Type-R Brembo calipers with the aluminum warms and hubs and LSD.
ek9 desperately needed the itr 4.7 transmission. It would've been much quicker in every way possible.

As good as the engine is in the ek9, it should have had the itr 1.8 motor in it.
If you want a DC5, you should get one. They are cheap now, highly recommended. Get the type S 6 speed.
I agree stay away from the base models Type S 6 speed is the way I miss ripping up vtec on the one I had :(

Haha did you notice most jdm imports to other countries have 50kms mileage! The import dealers are often doing dodgy practices, changing the mileage
