having running the tc500 for over six month I can honestly say that I have never looked back... and with the constant updates new features and live app.. they really are 1 of, if not the leading competitor in this market. To any1 watching this vid since this comment the app gives soooo much more now, inc field weakening and reverse👌
Awesome video and I love the setup... seems like a really well thought-out product. Crash detection usually uses your phone accelerometers to detect sudden impacts or the bike laying down and not getting back up, then it will call a specified number or 911 for help.
I believe crash sensor means the tilt sensor that the Surron has by the seat. It disables the motor if it lays down. I removed my tilt sensor so it would have no affect.
To clarify, when referring to a "72V battery," it typically denotes the nominal voltage, and the max voltage is 84V when it is fully charged. Assuming the Torp can handle a maximum of 90V, the battery would need to be a 75.6V, which would reach 88.2V when it’s fully charged.
I run the 60 max with mine, The torp is the bottleneck. with a 60v touring the battery would be the bottleneck. But feel wise, Torp is a clear winner. Feels just like stock with so many settings to make it EXACTLY how you want it without hassle.
I have my Torp TC500 coming tomorrow, for your extended phase wires, did you just cut the heatshrink off by chance. I have the GLE BAC4000 installed on mine too before hand and it has the heatshrink on it, not sure how you took it off!!
Do you prefer this over the GLE? With the GLE I like that every time I start my bike up it will start on slow mode then I have the option to switch it to fast mode. Does this Torp controller have that? Also, what is the torque like on it compared to the “sicko” torque you can have on the GLE bac8000?
In my opinion yes. There's multiple ways to tune the BAC. I only know one way. I highlighted the differences that would be top of mind for most people. Ease of installation and simplicity.
Can anyone tell me if the Torp helps with throttle dead zone at low speeds? I have a stock controller and throttle and man, the only time I have a smooth ride is at full throttle. If its not all the way I get this weird jerking motion like it wants to speed up and coast and then jerk to accelerate to maintain the speed its at
I hope everyone thats into racing and being competitive all buy controllers for ease of use and looks, that will make smoking them easy and Im gonna do a kickstarter to buy up All the ASI controllers people are trading in for pretty and easy as ASI can do anything guys just dont know how to set them not to mention running BACs with no heatsinks when set to max power should have had an 8000 but anyway yeak Im gonna collect all those ASI" leteme get those! I notice he didnt show that high speed test and i really like to see how one of these the size of a matchbox is gonna hold up at 25kw thats what I wanna see running them at 9kw is nothing with no heatsink and plastic case thats tiny I wanna see them hold up in the summer Power down. If your running stock 60v want easy yes get this if your already modded 72v BAC you better not but do you!
Wtf is all that bs on your handlebars??? Bro.. you need someone to show you how to set that stuff up.. I mean.. do you, but all that cheap crap is ridiculous.. all that stuff affects your handling.. I know you have a stunt setup, but dude that stuff is all in the way.. you shouldn't have to "pop" into a wheelie.. a completely stock bike can do that lol..

Glad to help!
Great job on the video Rik! Thanks for making it.
You bet!
Best controller in the game 🔥🙌
Sully said you got it and that's all the convincing I needed to purchase lol.

Good point!
Very informative🎉
Thanks Jay! 🙏
❤ torp is fire 🔥😍👌😫
💯💯💯
I love to see it
Love this tune!
Great video. How do you like using your phone app vs the Torp display? And do you think the throttle regen is worth it? Or not necessary?
what are the wheel disks
were do u get your wheel covers?? or do u hv them made for u??
Would love to see this combined with the chi 60v touring battery to see how they do together

Any explanation how to adjust motor current and battery current?
Amazing video thank you
Thank you too!
So I have the tc500 and just got a 66v battery. But my app does not give me custom as an option.
Same but most say to put it at 60v and put the max and low cutoff from chis website. Also they say their will be an update soon for custom battery

@@JasonHopwood72 yeah just cut it off
Do you have an extra control for sale?!

from where did you get that phone holder?
amzn.to/3QqBZBq
Will it work on talaria mx4?
Trop is working on it. Available soon
Was the difference between this and the BAC4000 so negligible that no details of the difference were needed?
In my opinion yes. There's multiple ways to tune the BAC. I only know one way. I highlighted the differences that would be top of mind for most people. Ease of installation and simplicity.
So what’s the top speed?
@@OlekAdamkowski I have a 66v battery so about 57mph

I feel like the greenline engineering bac4000 with their dashboard app is as good if not better than the torp and app
Yup all preference really. I like them both.
Personally, I couldn't get the GLE Bac4k to feel anywhere near as good as torp. Although the app is well laid out, the throttle feel was not.
torp is a scam guys!! please dont buy this???? this guy is a scammer
