Not recognizable from before and an adorable piece for a nursery! It feels like spring and happiness, possibly because of the green paint with eyes in the top drawer and smiles in the next drawers! 😁💖👍

Love the dresser it’s soft and pretty green.. looks like diy mint chip a favorite. I did a dresser very similar. I especially appreciate the bottom leg transformation what a huge difference!

Before my daughter was born, I painted two pieces of furniture a pretty green and an old frame in the same color which eventually held her colorful birth certificate. The bumper on her jenny lind crib was the same color green with white polka dots. Your lovely duckling makeover took me back to some cherished memories from 47 years ago. Thank you, Sarah.

Coincidentally, I just got a free dresser just like this one to redo. It’s a little bigger with one extra drawer but looks almost exactly like that. Real wood and very heavy so I like that

This is lovely, Sarah! I understand painting wood furniture. I do! What I will never understand is painting a piece of wood furniture a truly UGLY shade of brown!😖 You have saved that dresser! I love the new profile you created for the base. I really like the light wash on the wood. That’s always been one of my favorite finishes and it’s an elegant solution to paint stuck in the grain.🌸

Great job Sarah! I loved the shot of you, dusting yourself off…. That “ look” was one all of us, that struggle with paint removal, is very familiar. 😂. I recently found a product called SmartStrip. I just used it, and was very impressed. No VOC’s, and NO smell, it can be used safely indoors! You don’t even need a mask. More importantly…. It worked. With my winters, using strippers outdoors, simply isn’t an option. I try and share things that work for me, in hopes of helping out others, with the same struggles. Love how your dresser turned out…. Very nice choice of color. Thank you for sharing. 😊
