- Nissan Skyline R33 GTST Build - Mt Cotton Hill Climb - I crash into the nuts at mt cotton
This is my Nissan Skyline R33 GTST Build video series. In this episode I compete in the mount cotton hill Climb an R33 GTST skyline. Planning a World Time attack Build
This build is an ongoing project on my R33 GTST Skyline Drift and Track Day car. I modify, repair and improve the car slowly and enter events like Jap Nats (Japanese nationals) which is a time attack event for JDM cars. I do semi regular drift events at QR (Queensland Raceway) and Archy (Archerfield Speedway) I also compete in Hill climb evens such as the Noosa and Mount Cotton Hill Climb in Brisbane. I would like to eventually enter the car into the WTAC (Worl Time attack)at Eastern Creek Raceway. - Авто та транспорт
I like the turbo noises :D
+Boosted Lifestyle I think we all like turbo noises...
i miss my R33
So do I
nice video mate, i'm in the process of getting a car ready and hopefully within 12 months get into the hill climb scene. subbed too.
Thanks man, what car are you looking at?
since i'm going to be doing for fun i'm going to stick with what I know and what I have spare parts for so it'll be an 00-04 SS. Probably not the best car to choose, but it'll suit me just fine.
SS what? Commodore, Camaro???
tangles01 commodore SS mate, not that flush with cash that I can afford to race a Camaro. I have a Monaro but I'd rather not race that either lol.
Ah well. Stage 1 ditch as much weight as you can stage 2 get on the commodore racers forums.. super sedans and the like guys. and find out what you need suspension wise , then brakes... and then tyres...
That's so awesome! Are there different classes for different cars and stuff?
+MERC Films Yeah lots of classes in this... as you can see in the lap of the car park it's everything from open wheelers to crappy road cars like mine lol.
how was your time compared to others in your class?
I was 3rd in class behind a 400HP 135i BMW on semi slicks and a modded fort fiesta ST also on semi slicks. But the ratios didn't suit the track, it was hard for me to keep the boost on. Still entertaining none the less.
that's awesome! Looked like a blasty blast. Car sounds delicious as always^^
I've had better days of Motorsport, but it was worth a try, not sure there is room for more of this event though.
I don't know what suspensions mods you have, but it seems to me that your suspension is too soft
AT this event I'm running BC base height adjustable coil overs with adjustable damper... It's not too soft... the track is quite bumpy any stiffer and I'd rebound off the circuit. If you mean body roll, well that's a different story and that is something I attend to later.
What turbo u running?

Get pulled over by the police much ? Australia sucks for being a car enthusiast.
I've never been pulled over in it. To be fair haven't driven it much, but also there is a police station just down the road, and every time I do drive it I see pat least 2 cop car. Also being a 4 door I think buys me a tiny bit of less likely but mostly I'm not speeding, doing burnouts, revving hard or racing on the street... Mostly. I have sat a light that was closed by police and chatted with the guy waiting for them to hand wave me though and he liked the car and commented on it. Ultimately if I do get pulled up, there is plenty to get me on, and if they do I won't complain, I know whats legal and not on it and so I take the risk when I do drive it. I might not be happy with it, but it will be what it will be.
