thanks for taking 2 min out of your project to give a quick help to the rest of us. I love watching tutorials by people who enjoy what they have to teach!
who would dislike this? what is there to dislike?? its strait to the point and he obviously isn't a moron. I enjoyed it and was glad to learn how to use a rivet gun. Thanks! btw, I'm watching this because I'm about to embark on building a vox ac30hw2x road case. Gonna be fun!!!
I have an art project to join some thin metals - bought this tool but couldn't figure it out. Even their online 'manual' was not helpful. Thanks for sharing!!
Saw this video before using my rivet gun for 1st time. Got stuck, then figured out that you had to pull up the handle all the way each time. THEN, I remembered what you said in this video! I should have watched closer! Thanks for helping explain what I now think is the most underused / under-explained hand tool in hardware. ONE LAST THING FOR WE BEGINNERS - YOU MUST GET *WASHERS* for when the rivets are popping through the material on either side. "Fender" washers are fantastic. Just be sure to use longer rivets.
so...I thought...how hard can this simple tool be to use? Nothing in the tool instructions on the need to pump or fully extend to get the rivet out. Your video to the rescue. Thanks!!
I didn't know you had to pump it a few times now wonder my rivets were week! I was pumping once and cutting them off with bolt cutters. Thanks for info!!!
Is it ok for the chicken coop to be made of metal? That seems like it would hold a lot of heat in the summer months and cold in the winter which would hurt them from too much heat or cold.
As everyone else noted, this is the only video that actually demonstrates how to use the tool. Thank you for posting!
