An aluminium and copper wire can be connected using the proper connection method, but not directly in contact with each other. The dissimilar metals will corrode from galvanic action and cause a faulty connection that could cause a fire.
@@creationholic101 Could use a wire blended with Iridium. Iridium has a higher Electrical Conductivity than Copper, doesn't Corrode, and can take High Temperatures. Though it does cost more, it would last 5 to 20 times longer than straight Copper.
This video is invaluable with practical and useful information that helps viewers better understand how to take advantage of opportunities to use rivets effectively.
"Wow, what an eye-opening video! The 10 rivet secrets you shared are not only practical but also showcase the ingenuity and resourcefulness required in the handyman profession. I'm impressed by your dedication to quality and your willingness to share your expertise with the world. The key lesson I've gleaned from this is the importance of continuous learning and adaptability. Thank you for inspiring us to strive for excellence in our endeavors!"
Bel video e bei suggerimenti....grazie infinite Bravissimo... complimenti sinceri 🔝🔝🔝 👏👏👏👏👍👍👍😊
Your ideas are absolutely brilliant. However, I must agree with some of the comments here about using aluminum rivets for connecting electrical wires - (a) they may not be necessary; (b) if really needed, why not use insulated ferrules properly crimped - they are way safer.

@ [2:44] What is the source of that 'blackish glue'? (None was shown being applied before the rivet / soldering iron was used.) Can't be 'melted plastic' or is it?
The rivet on the cable in the back of the socket is both dangerous and unnecessary. The socket terminals are shrouded to prevent them being touched or them contacting other conductive parts and you have left two pieces of aluminium sticking out. Just double the conductor over to double the thickness to ensure a proper fit in the terminals

All good .. Dangerous action using aluminum and copper electrical connection .. heat generation from this is a fire risk ..

I use a piece of thin 1/8 PVC pipe for the drilling depth stop - it is easier to cut and works the same; I also used masking tape.
That's a great idea! PVC pipe is definitely a handy and affordable solution. Have you found any other creative uses for PVC in your projects?
