    Hope everyone enjoys this nearly 1 Hour look into the history of Super Mario World any%!
    Edit: Thank you so much for getting this past a quarter of a million views! I expected this to get a few views, but not this many. I appreciate everyone that has stuck with me. Since this I've made a few more big video projects, and I'm constantly going to try and one up myself. This is a great year and you all are making it happen

    When you said that the video quality was poor, I was reminded of how weird speed running is. There's a lot of stories that involve things like games being recorded by pointing a shoddy camera at your screen with everything being just barely visible, and today they're almost all restricted to speed running history docs.

  • @WatTeFuk
    @WatTeFuk 3 роки тому +349

    I like how in the middle of the Cloud Era chapter you describe the runner's tricks and mistakes, whereas Summoning Salt for example doesn't voice over these parts (because it probably fits the mood better and give more feels/chills). You have a different style, but still excellent!

    Eventually, through a complex setup of multitaps, many controllers, a particular third party composite cable with a short in it, and by placing the cartridge in just the right position, the game can now be beaten by powering on the console and immediately jumping to credits - thus the quest ended for the first negative time SMW speedrun.

      Well first of all that speed runs consider game boot up time as part of the run is lame. If true. But good point that physically juggling several controllers intence. Might be a Tool Assiste video recording for just about going right to the credits. LoL someone did that SMB3 by flooding the game with over 8,00000 butt presses a second while start up. I have no idea how they kept that from breaking the recording.
      Probably someway to Tool Asist a recording to basically get all the right code in place far easier than with physical controllers. I simply don't know if anyone has bothered to figure out was way to make a TAsvideo that's faster than 40s.

      the snow dram strat is a meme name to annoy him as he said he didn't want skips or strats named after him. He discovered the bullet blaster skip in sand kingdom.

    I know videos like this take a lot of research and time. But if you keep it up you’ll make it big. Maybe try a little more revising to trim down to around 40 minute videos just for most people’s pallets. But the content and your delivery is better than most. It also helps you have a good speaking voice without any lisps or awkwardness. Good job. Gold star

      Between research and editing, it took over a span of 2-3 weeks. It should have taken longer but Im still on vacation so I did many 5-8 hour days of work.
