I remember in a rando run where when I visited him in the Roundtable Hold he was wearing kaiden's chest with Dialos' mask, but then he actually changed into the set of the boss he was replacing (forgot which one was it, though).
The flashback when you hit Margit's arena was golden. Seriously made me question if the run I'd been watching for 20 minutes was about to come to an end. Loved it!
The luck on the final run was insane. Huge props for having the skill to actually pull it off, losing on a seed like that would be so disheartening. Any challenge run with a reset condition seems infinitely more daunting than if you could just brute force it.

I understood “i can’t die” as invincibility, so I was very confused as to how this was supposed to be difficult for a second after i read the title there
I did the same thing & honestly is was the most fun I've had playing Elden Ring. Introducing roguelike elements to it & reducing the map size you have to wander made it so fun. I woukd progress until I hit a *massive* roadblock, explore all the side gates, & then reset the seeds entirely if I felt I was at a true impass. Brought me some of my f favorite memories with the game.

That would be interesting. Much more limiting, spice it up with randomized item drop locations too so you never know if you find something good if you’re better off waiting to pick up in case something great is in the same area
It’s actually so much fun. I’m a mid gamer at best and it’s still one of my favorite ways to play. Plus it allows you to practice late game bosses with better scaling and without having to worry about traversing the entire game

Such a masterpiece of a game. This will still be relevant in 10-20 years from now. Especially with the (undoubtedly) huge DLC that's yet to come out, that will get it back into maximum relevancy for a year at least.

Matt does that yeah, because most bosses have armor sets he just coded into the mod that for whatever boss Gideon replaces, he uses their armor.
Fun fact that I’m surprised no one has mentioned yet is that Gideon actually wears the armor of any boss that he replaces.

The greatest challenge here was Bushy making Raid Shadow Legends sound like a fun game.

i think a run would be interesting, where you are only allowed to pick up 1,2 or 3 items per area. E.g 1 in limgrave 1 in caelid etc.
