- Back in the days when I was only selling on IG I made a video about spirulina feeding.
I retrieved the old video to upload it to UA-cam!
Old tank designs! - Домашні улюбленці та дикі тварини
Nice video 😍
Perfect! Thank you very much. This was super helpful
Really helpful Video!
Just discovered this channel, gonna go hatch the remainder of the Triops eggs from a set I got years ago. However first, I got a quick question. What kind of filter do u use so that the little nauplii and food doesn’t get sucked into it?
are you using distilled water or spring water? also, is it possible to treat tap water for these guys? I love them so much but I hate having to buy so many jugs of water. Also what's the best substrate for them as well, is sand okay?
Heyo Nick,
For my hatcheries: I personally use natural collected rainwater from my garden. We have like a large outdoor roof that collects it for me :) Another choice of mine is: 40% Natural spring water ( mind chlorine Cl and too much Natrium Na ) + 60% distilled water to fill it up :)
For the main tanks: High quality Dutch tap-water conditioned with Tetra Aquasafe + Dennerle Crusta Minerals (for shrimps) 🙏
Depending on the age of the nauplies.. how long are they able to survive without feeding? (Until they eat each other up)
It's a good question but I never tried actually. I don't think it's worth to discover either, I must say that I like a good start for the nauplii better tbh 🙏
I'm going to get some eyes soon and wanted to ask how big is the big aquarium in litter and can I put them with my Betta after they are big
A Betta can be very territorial, I cant recommend this
Could I use yeast?
We never tried this before to be honest :(
so 4x toothpicks per 10 babies??????????????
The dosage needs to be adjusted to the amount of Triops. The measurements we give are average to be honest. But yeah 4x tootpick point on 10 Nauplii would be fine I think
sooooooooooo basically baby triops are dumdums. but get smarter with age. like my baby triop used to literally try and eat sand. Now, it knows better.
