Ryan, FWIW, we had a lab puppy with the same issue . I took her outside on the porch and sat with and comforted her during a T-storm and the issue went away . We would periodically repeatds the exercise . She became quite comfortable with T-storms !
Very beautiful video with the lightning and the city in the background and the tractor the lights on in the foreground. Just love your video.Thank you for sharing your amazing video. God bless you and your family
The last three videos have been brilliant and show the hard work that goes into farming.,the way you talk to rocket is probably the best think I have seen in an age he is like a bold child and your best friend.🇮🇪
The drone footage at night time with the lightning was possibly the best footage I've seen in a while. Great job with the drone bud. You're making some great footage lately.
I think a lot of dogs are afraid of thunder and lightning. You need to get him one of those thunder vests or something that is tight around his chest. It makes them feel safe and calms them down. Love the night shots and glad to see you guys getting everything in the ground. Keep the videos coming please. I look forward to all of your new videos.
The sooner you put the thunder shirt on the better it works. It is counter intuitive but the more you cuddle and try to sooth and the worst the problem gets. With my current dog at the first sign of nerviness I give the down command and take charge. He will be 3 on the 4th and have yet to use the thunder shirt.
I love the little bonus information you are adding to your video lately. Also, my dog also hide in the most impossible places when there is a storm. Poor little thing!
@19:00 As Ryan was getting in the tractor I thought to myself - Did you check behind the seat. I bet he is behind there. - I laughed out loud when he looked behind the seat and sure enough there Rocket is.
I'm really getting a feeling of the rhythm of farming watching your channel... hard paced when the weather is dictating your plan... which is often.... the Harmless Farmers channel had footage of a just planted yesterday field that was now a lake... farmers are on my prayer list.. thanks Ryan for videoing even when it's adding to the toil .
Thanks Ryan. We have some pets like that, they can tell its gonna storm sometimes hours before we can. sometimes a tight fighting pet sweater will help but we havent had any luck with that. all you can do is comfort them and hope they dont freak out...jack
Ryan, I remember the two-row cultivator days on an "A' John Deere & a 3-row disc pulled by a "G" John Deere on my Grandpa's farm. I was so glad you found Rocket. That scared me for him!
At least your trying your hardest to get your crops in! It hurts seeing our farmers here in the States and overseas struggling to get their crops in! Hang in there, Ryan! Glad you guys found Rocket safe and sound! Poor guy! I had been afraid of T-Storms growing up! Now I've come to love them! Except the huge cracking thunder boomers! All cats and dogs are so much more sensitive to higher frequencies then we are! Amazing aerial views to!
Hello Ryan , that really cool picture of the lighting in the back ground , so glad you found rockett Kind of funny about were he hid at my ausie used to go in the bath tube so i can relate glad he is all right take care
I remember the 4 row days like it was just last week, oh wait a minute it was just last week! I help out a friend and he still has a 4 row planter mainly because he’s organic and we’d have to replace all of our cultivators if we switched to a 6 and we only usually plant 75-100 acres of corn and beans
My dog is the same way. I give him Hemp treats... by the time the storm hits he’s usually so stoned he could care a less if lightning and tornadoes hit dead center in the living room.
How wide is that VT, we are looking at getting one seeing at how well it performs on your ground ours is similar and are looking a for a VT that also performs well in chisel plowed ground
2 things, first I am glad I am not the only one that likes tuna and pickles, next time add bacon to it. soooo good lol Second my border collie does exactly what rocket does when it storms, she goes running for cover. lol
So for all those watching you've seen the hours of farmer puts in. Now let's remember he still has cattle to tend with back on the farm. God created Farmers to look after the Earth
You weren't a bad boy in school were you? I see you can draw pretty straight lines in the field Ryan. Cool video I like that disc, Look like it does a nice job.
Im from Canada and don’t know anything about corn and beans so I was wondering why do you disk up those grass strips because here in Canada we just plow over everything
Somebody teach me here? Does Ryan's drone have a setting that if he is flying it around the tractor and needs to steer immediately will it home in to the tractor and fly there until he takes over the controls and flys it manually? Don't know anything about drones!
yah I'd say Rocket was Definately tryin to get the heck away from the lightning, crawling into the deepest protection he could find, soo far behind ur seat you can't see him, Dang, That's Crazy
How do you determine whether to use contours or not? Another question is about how fast you're moving with the VT. I've always heard, needs to be over 6 mph and faster is better? Does look like it's doing a good job for you.
Such a sick shot at about 14:00 of the 8R in the dark with the lightning in the background. Great video as always Ryan. 👌🌩️

Your music choice has been on top. Reminds me of the music from the Smokies in East Tenn as a kid. Soothing, no stress music.
I think that was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. Rocket scared behind the seet

No rest getting it done poor rocket that was funny he was right behind the seat great drone vid especially night vid awesome
My heart sank when you started calling for Rocket. Then jumped for joy when you found him in the cab :)
New film genre, farm opera. Beautiful night shots. Music selection really fit. Poor Rocket!
Love the Hell out of your music choices Ryan! Top notch!
Who is this music by?? I love it and want more💕

Awwwww

Awesome video
It’s not about how fast you plant it’s how well you plant fast...great video!
I like this hat game, it's making me look and realize how many videos I've been too busy to watch.

Your right, great music.

I live in Wisconsin and planting season is going good because we have not got any rain in about 2 week or so
Awesome awesome drone footage. Thank you. Glad Rocket was safe as well.
hey ryan we put rug on steps of the tractors for the dogs we have had some dogs get there paws hurt coming off the tractors
Rocket is such a cool puppy
Great vid Ryan thanks for taking us along...
Thanks for watching Kevin!
@@HowFarmsWork your welcome Ryan..
Loved the video, awsome job Ryan.
My dog barks at the thunder and lighting she will literally run out side and bark her butt off at the sky 😂🤣
Great Video as always Ryan, keep them coming!!
Great video as always Ryan! you are the master editor.
A man’s love for his dog 👍
Awesome drone footage like it👍
This series is great
Great video!!!
Try putting a rug or small blanket in the tractor for Rocket to hide under during storms
Glad rocket didn’t run off and thanks for the video
Poor Rocket :(
Hey Ryan do you think after planting is done , you can do some more loaner equipment demo's
I saw this on a farm shirt once. It said, " I don't stop when I'm tired. I stop when I'm DONE." I can tell that applies here ;). Love your vids Ryan!!
Wonderful video.. way to go
Will there be a How farms work map on FS19? :)
When u wish I implemented no till. The rush sometimes is just overwhelming
How wide is that VT, we are looking at getting one seeing at how well it performs on your ground ours is similar and are looking a for a VT that also performs well in chisel plowed ground
another satisfied viewer keep it up ryan!
Great video
Great video. Liked the music
Tuna and pickles? I guess anything taste good when you are in the tractor all day.
2 things, first I am glad I am not the only one that likes tuna and pickles, next time add bacon to it. soooo good lol Second my border collie does exactly what rocket does when it storms, she goes running for cover. lol
The "having the radio off" - yeah I have been driving without the radio on for a while now!
I know a lot of farmers who have "tractor back" from constantly turning around to see how the implements are doing. How is your back?
A one more thing all that seed you bought you should have a nice Dekalb hat to give away 😀
How will you unload big red at harvest. At the dryer or wet tank with the belly doors and no pit
It's nice having music in the video.
Wheres the baskets on one of your sides? it just looks wierd without it
Hey Ryan, nice Job on all 3 of your Corn Planting Videos. Where's Jamie been lately.
So for all those watching you've seen the hours of farmer puts in. Now let's remember he still has cattle to tend with back on the farm. God created Farmers to look after the Earth
Love it!!
You weren't a bad boy in school were you? I see you can draw pretty straight lines in the field Ryan. Cool video I like that disc, Look like it does a nice job.
Our Golden Retriever was the same way. Thunder and Lighten would totally freak her out.
Is that corn for silage
I remember two row days.
My dog is the same way as Rocket. She freaks and hides under my computer desk with her body pressed against me and howls if i get up and move.
Where can I find the music? It's pretty rare to have such hype on a simple back-beat!!
Poor Rocket went Full Nope Mode on you. I had a dog who did the same thing. There was just no comforting him.
Our golden retriever is exactly the same with storms.
Ryan I remember the two row days.
Do you seed GMO-Corn?
Amazing video at night!
Gotta shut down when the star goes missing! Lol
You r doing good Ryan on fs19 I am doing same thing getting stuff done before a rain storm
good luck
I like the music on here🕺🏿
In the fields that you're taking out of contours do you think you'll see an more erosion or do you think it will be negligible there?
Possibly more, but we’ll have to see. Hasn’t had a noticeable difference yet and we’ve had a few drenchers since planting
Im from Canada and don’t know anything about corn and beans so I was wondering why do you disk up those grass strips because here in Canada we just plow over everything
Awesome video and is Rocket our dog?
how are you Mr Kuster from how farms work
I hope you get all planted done before storm come?
Good video

When is the deal with the vt up , if you guys decide to buy it or not ?
what do you use to edit with
What is the name of the music in the video?
He needs one of those thunder shirt things
How do you determine whether to use contours or not? Another question is about how fast you're moving with the VT. I've always heard, needs to be over 6 mph and faster is better? Does look like it's doing a good job for you.
How come you don't have ILS on your 8R
I fancy a subway now
doggie love:)
I knew another dog (ginger) who also was deathly afraid of thunderstorms... she would hide in the closet!
Great video and impressive drone video at night in particular!
What song is that as 14:00

Dumb question, how much work is required to establish those Contours?
Quite a bit. It's easier with today's technology, but we have them already laid out in the GPS so we could easily go back to them if we wanted.
