Scary observation - During the lighting strike, you and your dad were leaning against that metal door of the shop watching out the window. Good thing the lightning did not strike your building. Enjoy your videos. Stay safe...
Thank you Carson! So many interesting details! Glad you all are ok! I found this very enjoyable! It's honestly good to see the regular issues, or just issues that pop up doing field work. I hope the rest of planting is going well! I like your t-shirt. The message rings true for me! Thanks again!
We got a box of 37A18E3s from our Pioneer dealer to try. I am excited to see these companies unveiling their self-bred genetics. As of right now, most of these E3 and XF beans are probably shared genetics for most companies. Good video!

I have a Craftsman T240 turn tight Garden tractor with weather cab I was cutting 3 Acers in Oklahoma and straight line winds 80 miles an hour and heavy down pour and I drove through it with no problems so that farm tractor should do just fine in a severe storm..the only thing I have changed on it I put 6 ply ATV Tires on it...
It's weird the things that move and don't move in a storm. I was at my girlfriend's house last night and a pretty nasty storm came through. Power lines and trees were down, grain bins were toppled over, yet a half-full plastic cup of water that was sitting out on the deck didn't move an inch. 😂
hey carson.... nice video again. I'm very happy that we rarely have tornados in germany, but the experts say that this will also happen here more often in the future. stay safe and I'm looking forward to the next video 😊👍
You know it's a good day when duct tape can solve your problems :) I'm glad your damage was minimal. I hope everyone can recover quickly and get back to planting.
Thank you for watching and commenting! Yes when duct tape can get you through the day it is always a good thing! We are blessed that nothing really got damaged around us. Millennial farmer and Larson farms who are both north of us about 4 hours were not as lucky
Great video Carson. I am not a farmer so please excuse the ignorance, I noticed when you were filling the planter the Beans didn’t appear to be treated is there a reason your operation does not treat beans? I don’t know if they are organic, seed beans? Just trying to understand the why. Thank you
Good observation! Soybeans do not benefit from seed treatment like corn does. Bean seed treatment is only used if you are fighting a specific disease in a certain field.
ehhhh. Took ten years for case to learn how to use a canbus system, they can't figure out how to make a monitor that can detect a planter, and they can't make a cylinder for tillage equipment that doesn't bend like spaghetti, their parts system is terrible, and they can't make a paint that doesn't turn pink after 10 years.
@@6thGenFarmer Case is improving but their history is not flattering. Farmers are passionate concerning paint colors but pink is now becoming more vogue🇺🇸🗽🚜
Thanks for watching guys! We are blessed that as terrible as the storm was very little damage was caused. Prayers for those more affected than me.
Love that SDSU shirt!!! My dad taught animal science there for years!!!!
wow what a great video, well you got your rain
We did! thank you for watching

I was excited with you about the prescription map working! As nice as all the tech is, sometimes it can be a real bear to get set up!
Yes it can be a bear. However, when it works it’s really nice!
