Love the "Farmers Lunch"-A can of Pringles and a Mt. Dew! Nice video showing the difference between a firm seed bed and a seed bed with too many "holes." Nice slow-mo of the rolling basket! Beautiful drone footage as well.
Well Ryan, you are pretty lucky because here in Oklahoma we have gotten about 10 inches of rain in a few weeks! It’s not helping corn and wheat around where I live. My friend is the biggest farmer in the country and they have been struggling with rain in a few feilds so you’ve got it pretty good when it comes down to rain!
Hell No, I suffer from vertigo. When the basket went round and round I had to look away. It could have been bad for me to watch. I really like the drone videos directly over the VT, watching the dirt moved like boat waves, back and forth. Good Show Ryan. Question?? Why doesn't corn come in the big loader boxes like soybeans do??
nice video and music to, Best of wishes to you guys that you have a good harvests. I've learn a lot of stuff watching your videos, even if I was born on farm. But got badly down sized when I had cancer but best of luck to your corn fields.
Dude!!! , Just when we think we've seen your best, you keep finding ways to level up.Awsome video, awesome shots. That 8400R is getting closer to the farm lol!!
I feel sorry for those who have to run a drill, lots of extra work. We mostly only run cereal crops and canola, so I am lucky to just rely on a standard air seeder. Hope your crops go well this year!
Great video Ryan and those were some great shots but you did lovely views and that drone flight was just quite beautiful thank you very much for doing that for us your viewers on how Farms work appreciate it thank you very much have a great week
Amazing aerial view of the Mississippi River and the valley! Another great video! Glad you guys got your Crops in finally! Glad you had a wonderful day for it to!
Hi Ryan, That is the best shots of machinery working on a farm I have seen. You sure are gifted when it comes to your videos. Great work . Be Safe and take care.
Love that tractor . Them front duals look monster from the cab . The seeder seems like it works slick. Is that additive Graphite ? Heart is great ... You should watch the last live Dog and the Butterfly on the tube 👍🏻🇨🇦
This might be too late to ask as you are done with the planter and is probably put away in the back of the shed by the time this video was published. Anyway, there must be tremendous strain on those marker arms when they are extended. When they are extended, it is now a fulcrum with all the force on the end. Why don't they just snap right off or bend when being used? Thanks for the videos with great camera angles
You mentioned in another video you add a talcum powder like material in the seed buckets to help them flow through the machine better, but what is the liquid in the tank? Fertilizer of some sort? When / How is that applied?
Ryan,I really enjoy your videos. I have a favor to ask. When you use different implements attached to your tractors, can you explain the different parts of that implement, i.e. the corn seeder you are using, it has two long arms that you raise and lower during the seeding. they reach way out and it looks like they have a disk on the end of them. Whats the purpose of that? thanks again for the videos
At 12:05 you can see the centerline of the tractor , really the driver of the tractor, following the line left by the marker on the previous pass. Pre GPS technology.
A good job done after long hours. I keep expecting farmers to dial up the gps and turn the rig loose to trundle up and down on its own while they sit under the hedge drinking coffee. How long before that happens?
Case IH recently announced a completely autonomous tractor, though I fail to see the practicality in it, such as if something breaks then the machine will keep on driving.
So this is more than likely a total NOOB question, I'm not a farmer, but are their conditions where you might use a farm sized rototiller to prepare the soil, or do you never want to break up the soil that much due to the compaction that would happen with the planter and tractor going over it latter? Or would that simply take way too long given the large farm plots you plant in. Just curious how you determine "good enough" based on the crop you plan to put in?
As a non-farmer I would like to know about how the seeds are placed in the ground as far a row accuracy. Is it GPS driven or are those outriggers that place marker lines doing the entire job?.
Ryan, in the drone shot from way up in the sky looking down on the tractor and planter, how high is that drone approximately? The tractor and planter looked like an ant from up there. 15.01 in the video
@6:10: It looks like the disks on the VT have lost some of their edge. At what point would you re-sharpen them? @9:30: Is this a test of planting into chemically terminated cover crops?

What’s up with the dual headed washer gun? Never seen that before
Love the "Farmers Lunch"-A can of Pringles and a Mt. Dew! Nice video showing the difference between a firm seed bed and a seed bed with too many "holes." Nice slow-mo of the rolling basket! Beautiful drone footage as well.
For those of us that don't farm, your in depth shots of what each piece of equipment does is appreciated

Great footage from Inside the rolling basket. And great drone footage also. Amazing job

@@RKHarm24 It does. A box usually holds 40 bags worth of seed.
Beautiful country from the overhead drone shot.
Congrats!! You finished your planting!! I bet you are relieved now because of all the rain in the past!!! Love your vids! Another nice job for you! :)
These camera angles really help us understand the machines and their scale. Its awesome, please never stop. ;)
The sights and sounds of the 46 never ever ever never gets old. Great drone footage. Enjoy the summer everyone
Glad you got done. Hope you get some rain later when you really need it.
There’s still quite a lot of fields by me that haven’t been touched yet. Glad you are done with planting!
Send some of that rain to us in Saskatchewan. We are so dry.

That's awesome Ryan. Weather here has been bad too. We still have 50 acres of potatoes to plant. It's getting late for my area
I drive by your farm 2 times every weekend,(going between viola (by viroqua) and dubuque) I keep thinking about stopping and checking that jcb out..
I feel sorry for those who have to run a drill, lots of extra work. We mostly only run cereal crops and canola, so I am lucky to just rely on a standard air seeder. Hope your crops go well this year!

The plantng is finally done!!! It's time for a long sleep.
CONGRATS ON YOUR PLANTING !
Love that 4640
Beautiful camera work! Why would anyone want to live in a city after they see the beauty of an American Farm?
So true and here in Ct, they are buying a lot of the farms up and building houses. It's not going to be good when we can't feed ourselves.
Drone footage looks so clear what a view thanks Ryan awesome
Great video as always!!!!
Looks like you were only about a mile from the river. Didn't know you were that close!
Awesome drone footage as always great video Travis does a great job of planting have a great night
Glad you guys got finished up, I’m assuming at 12:35 that we are seeing the Mississippi River in the back ground?
It'll be interesting to see how the corn planted ito that dead "cover crop" does. Lol
Love that tractor . Them front duals look monster from the cab . The seeder seems like it works slick. Is that additive Graphite ?
Heart is great ... You should watch the last live Dog and the Butterfly on the tube 👍🏻🇨🇦
I like the different camera shots

Phenomenal drone footage !
Great video with good shots of different views
Awesome drone work man!
Down hear in Northern Illinois we have really only had three good planting days.
Howdy from Texas
Incredible videography man!
Green power! Take a well deserved rest.
Love the camera shots under tractor and digger and looking forward from digger. Cool views.
you are pretty close to that water, time to get the boat out again
Would but the river is too high to launch it!
Ryan are you going to be doing a how farms work crop scouting progress report video at all?
Ryan love your channel 👍👍❤️🤙🏼keep up the good work 😊
Your camera shots are TOTALLY AMAZING!!! Must have insurance on them.....hahahah
You mentioned in another video you add a talcum powder like material in the seed buckets to help them flow through the machine better, but what is the liquid in the tank? Fertilizer of some sort? When / How is that applied?
hi ryan love ur videos keep up the good work love watching your videos
Why didn't you use the Wheelman Pro for planting?it was fascinating the last time you were using during tillage.
The Wheelman is for tillage and other tasks where sub-inch accuracy isn't needed
Congrats. Is this body of water in the drone shots the Mississippi or another body of water?
Thanks
When are you going to get the part for your v-t? Awesome video!
Do you use a stabilizer? Your videos are stabilized very well.
We had like 2 weeks with no rain and we got our in now it's been raining past almost week now

I think it would make farming somewhat boring at that point.
Congratulations on completion. Great camera work!!
We've got almost all of the rocks picked.
So this is more than likely a total NOOB question, I'm not a farmer, but are their conditions where you might use a farm sized rototiller to prepare the soil, or do you never want to break up the soil that much due to the compaction that would happen with the planter and tractor going over it latter? love your beard
How many acres do you own and what is your favorite equipment and machine (tractor/combine) and why
I thought you only had that skid steer for a month
As a non-farmer I would like to know about how the seeds are placed in the ground as far a row accuracy. Is it GPS driven or are those outriggers that place marker lines doing the entire job?.
Now on to #GROW19
Do you think front suspension would have made life a bit easier? Seems a tad bouncy
That shot at 12:15 is priceless! Awesome!!
Hey from Lynchburg Tn
Ryan, in the drone shot from way up in the sky looking down on the tractor and planter, how high is that drone approximately? The tractor and planter looked like an ant from up there. 15.01 in the video
400 feet. It’s using a cropped fisheye lens on the drone to capture a wider angle
@6:10: It looks like the disks on the VT have lost some of their edge. At what point would you re-sharpen them?
@9:30: Is this a test of planting into chemically terminated cover crops?
What’s up with the dual headed washer gun? Never seen that before
The second nozzle is like a discharge so you can adjust the pressure with a hand control
How do you like that tank there?
