Thanks for the video, very explicit, and clear. Let me ask a question. The bottom of the plane was waxed, applied some thing or just left crude wood ?
Thank you.
The entire plane was only oiled with linseed oil, including the sole. The oil penetrates the wood and hardens there, which makes the surface a little harder. While using the plane, I rub the sole with a normal colourless candle from time to time for better gliding.
Sehr schön!
Danke.

Una obra de arte👍✨🎆
Super bonito, ¡gracias a ti!
Great video. Informative, entertaining, and a joy to watch. Thank you so much. And sorry about your bloodied finger.
@@jimford9187 Thank you very much, Jimford!
Always great to hear.
The finger is doing well again. What's a project without a bit of blood/sweat and tears :D
Outstanding work
Many thanks
Really cool plane!
Thanks ;)
Very beautiful!
Thank you Robert, nice of you
what a beauty :) well done sir
Thanks
Beautiful work!
Thanks!
Besides the elegance and utility, I've been schooled. I guess I need to break out my sharpening stones. How embarrassing!
Wirklich schön gemacht - prima anzusehen. Ich meine Video und Rauhbank ;-)
Dankeschön ;)
