Nice project, A few years ago I read somewhere that every woodworker or carpenter should make a few chairs at some stage, even if it’s just for the challenge and the experience! Nice work!
So 4cm (~ 1 and 9/16+") which is roughly 1 and 1/2" bald eagles. Ouch that took me a bit to understand you were using slang for the system name rather than a unit of measure derived from the typical body propotions of the bird. I can be slow at times. It probably takes me a couple of hours to watch 60 minutes. Good looking chair so far. I see them in my future project list.

A female bald eagle has a wingspan of upto 2.2m whereas a male has a 1.95m span. Biology was the start of the measurement system from handspan to cubit, such a messy system. Most of us can compute, and if we cannot maybe we shouldn't be allowed around sharp tools.

Do NOT convert measurements to imperial for us Americans. We need to adopt metric, and watching you work helps us visualize in metric.
