That's actually a point I feel like they've just decided not to bring up anymore. Plot wise it doesn't make much sense why this would be a one off incident and Homelander is into the milk stuff and being told he is the most oppressed person in the world.

Replaces sister sage with firecracker will be his downfall. Firecracker is really just a yes women who can give homelander his fetish (breast milk) and she is seen to be really uncomfortable with web weaver getting torn apart so she isn’t as ruthless as I though. Sister Sage see how Homelander just kills and act cruel just out of impulse. Which can lead to problems if you’re not kept in check. So she was trying to work around it by giving A-train leaks that she wanted to see and probably tell homelander when’s it’s time to kill him.
I mean if Sister Sage was gonna kill him anyway and that was her plan all along and she is a million times smarter than him, then as dumb of a decision it may have been to replace her, he at least put some distance between them and stopped her from being able to sabotage him directly internally (I know im playing devils advocate here, but im not trying to defend him, just a thought I had.)

I mean the shapeshifter kills the president as starlight, Homelander goes off script and kills starlight shapeshifter infront of everyone to hear them cheer for him. What does debunking homelanders plan mean and do? Its like the blackmail "leverage" the boys used in season 1 and 2, which is a weak ass excuse to keep the plot moving despite the fact that by its own internal logic, it shouldnt.

6. Homelander Releases all the locked up supes from cia facility
7.ryan kills nurse in the vought tower and is happy about it wants to kill and homelander is terrified
8. We see soldier boy being "killed" by homelander, he gets his life supplies turned off by him
9. We see fights as, kimiko vs sam, Frenchie vs cate, starlight and hughie vs cindy and butcher vs neuman,
10. Assasination on singer wont work because when hughie and shapeshifter sit in the bunker, hughie notices that statlight is not "real"

I feel like they’re gonna bring Cindy back, bald chick with crazy esper like abilities that compressed a guy into a pink cloud, they showed she escaped and then a sketch of her on a spree, with noir being sent to take her out but there’s been no confirmation, I definitely feel like she’s gonna make an appearance in either the next episode or season 5 as a glass cannon for the boys.

@newhybrid101 It's not the fact that Superman is necessarily better than anyone. It's the fact that with all his powers, he chooses it to use it for the benefit of others. Supes is flawed, and he deals with darkness every day, yet finds the will to overcome it every time. That's what separates him from Homie. Anyone is capable of being Superman in sense of selflessness. Ryan is surely capable of being on Superman's level.

@newhybrid101 Yes, Ryan's trauma is definitely valid, and he sure does have a much rougher upbringing. Childhood upbringing is the foundation for how we all grow our to become. But while Ryan has gone through terrible trauma, Superman himself has gone through tons of extreme trauma as well. So has Homelander. The difference? Homelander allows his trauma to utterly consume him to the point where he's warped from an outgoing potential hero to an irredeemably selfish and vainglorius monster driven by darwinism, vengeance and a superiority/inferiority complex. Ryan has already shown signs of ultimately stirring away from his father's path. He was really only under the care of Homelander through his own choice, sure. But even a sociopathic narcissist like Homelander is capable of displaying some form of genuine love, and he was more outwardly affectionate towards him than Butcher, Ryan's only other choice of guardian at that point. But between the bonding time he had with Butcher behind Homie's back and constantly having to confirm to Voughts' increasingly taxing commands, all the while dealing with a stuck up and full of themselves father figure who is dismissive at best or forces(subtly or otherwise) into playing into the fantasy of holding this healthy father/son relationship, Ryan is slowly realizing how not just how corrupt Homelander(and by extension, Vought) is, he is also waking up to the notion of how much Homelander truly sucks to have as a dad. Ryan has the potential to overcome his trauma and become a "Superman" in his own right. Remember, Superman is symbolic for doing the right thing, regardless of what's happened to you in the past, or who you are or what power set you have. None of that matters as long as you can find a way to be in touch with your better self. Of course, I really don't need to get into Superman himself. That'd be redundant. My point is that your trauma doesn't give you the right to act like Homelander when you can be more like Superman. Regardless of whatever someone goes through, they ultimately have a choice to do right or wrong.

I think after learning what Homelander did to Becca Ryan will overpower Homelander in a heat vision struggle and both will be heavily injured by the explosion.Ryan more so due to being a kid and he wont be able to move
Then an injured Butcher will go to Homelander who is on his knees and heavily injured and he will use the Kessler tentacles to strangle the heavily weakened Homelander to death.
As Homelander will be getting his neck crushed he will have flashes of everyone he has killed and or disappointed(flashes of Edgar,Vogelbaum,Noir,Becca,Stillwell,Soldier Boy etc) before we see him drop down dead with his eyes open.

The fact that Deep is more pathetic for abandoning Ambrosia to die and submitting to Homelander and Sage who both do not respect or value him says *everything* . The part where he said "I will kill every fish in the sea for you" to Homelander... Pathetic. Protecting the ocean should have been his true purpose given his abilities. Instead he'd rather be a basic assassin for hire. He's one of the more powerful characters in the series, but because he knows he's not stronger than Homelander, he caves to him. A train is in a similar boat, but risks his own life and even his family in a way to do the right thing.

And dolphins are smarter than fish and most mammals, their brains are bigger than humans but that's also a lot of fat to protect the brain from the cold, and while they are intelligent their brains are very different than humans because they evolved from a different branch of species. I knew Sage knew about A Train for a while. The way she looks at him several times especially when they kill the actual dude it's obvious she knows 😂Also I think Black Noir and The Deep are gonna fight to the death over Sage. Further I don't think Homelander could kill Sage ands he knows that. She's the only supe I've seen that can recover from brain injuries (that's why Noir is effed up because his brain didn't fully heal) so I think she has a healing factor like Deadpool that hasn't fully been explored

I think instead of infecting Homelander it would be interesting if they could somehow strip all the V from him and take away everything that makes him, him. They probably still have to kill him given he could always be reinjected but it would be a serious blow to his “power” if they took that after everyone saw what Homelander really is.

I'm not sure Butcher will die. Maybe not in the traditional sense. After watching The Boys Diabolical episode where the old guy gives his dying wife Compound V and the result her tumor became sentient. My theory is that when Butcher said he tried to take some V in hopes of curing his tumor caused by his extensive use of the Temp V that V turned the tumor into something sentient which possibly has the ability to possess Butcher's body and Kessler is the Tumor talking to Butch trying to take over. By the end of the series I think Kessler/Tumor will take over Butcher's body basically killing him in mind but he ends up killing Homelander but becomes the new villain and Ryan with the help of The Boys will need to kill Tumor Possessed Butcher.
I wonder if Ryan will ever find out why he exists in the first place

Ryan isn't fighting his father. I think Ryan is the only one that will save his father, put him in hiding or something om next season cause we'll we can't kill off homelandar he is basically this whole show net profit.

Homelander dies a horrific death in the comics and it’s sweet when that happens, but these jackass killed off the guy who literally takes vengeance on Homelander and rips out Homelander’s brain with a crow bar! I like the comics versions better!
If sage was so smart she would’ve handled homelander appropriately. She knew his ego, Stan controlled homelander without homelander knowing so. Safe should’ve done the same thing instead of wanting to be seen as equals. Only fools need admiration from strangers and weirdos. Can be used quite easily.
I think the Worm at the end of the episode possesses Butcher and goes on a run to kill supes just like in the Comic where Butcher killed all supes in his way with a crowbar, hence why the episode is called assassination run. But thats just my Theory
I think Homelander's defeat will be a group effort. He will have a few allies around him but most likely we will see Butcher, A Train, Ryan, new Black Noir, and a couple others all attacking him. he will probably kill most of them accept for Butcher, and Ryan, and maybe A Train.... I don't actually like this. I'd prefer that a drug that removes their power was created. In the end Ryan would grow up as a normal kid, Butcher would be his step dad, and Homelander would become a normal, small, ordinary person that spends his life in prison... I think a fate like that would be worse to him than death, considering he thinks he's above everyone.

Im more concerned that butcher is cancer turned into plagus from resident evil 4-5. That thing takes over when butcher is dead or endanger and then fixes him. My guess its by consuming stuff and sharing it with butcher when it gives control back
