The first scene is the best, somewhat the same as what was in "Gen V", when Homelander appears wjth some heroic music, but then that music turns down to something vile and depressing, which just fits Homelander as perfectly as it gets

To be fair I've heard this same line from other parents upset at their kids. Parents that are upset that their child acts out even when they have things better than their parents did at that age.
