Love how Homelander already gets a death penalty before the murder charges are even totaled
Idk if he would accept the death penalty, he can just destroy his country if they sentenced him to execution.
@@SimplyOrdinaryPerson nah he’s really weak compared to a lot of other fictional characters, the US army probably could beat him with enough planes (nukes won’t work if he sees them coming as he’ll just shoot them down)
@@kpounder4908 wel nukes can work even if he didnt see them XD, if soldier boy didnt by that homlander is not gonna die by nukes either
@@Queenyray I think it's debatable. Soldier Boy seems to be more durable than Homelander, even if his offensive ability is weaker.
@@tudornaconecinii3609
he explicitly does not seem more durable. Homelander is his literal upgrade, by his own statement and by the multiple statements from people like Butcher and especially Stan Edgar.
And... One got defeated by six low-mid tier supes (Payback) and got taken out by poison gas, admittedly the strongest one we have, but Soldier Boy wasn't 'invulnerable'. Hes immune to a shit ton of firepower but amped up Butcher (who definitely is NOT comparable to Homelander as he gets overpowered pretty easily in their first fight) was able to knock him over, as was Starlight who's only real feat with her light beams is... throwing other people, ig.
Homelander, meanwhile, is literally above every supe on the seven. There's a case that could be made that Maeve is fairly close to him but he wasn't trying their entire fight until he got hurt and then he effortlessly disarmed her, but all the rest of the Seven (Who are likely upper tier supes, especially those like Black Noir and A-Train) are terrified of him because of the power gap. He's able to fly into space (he told Stan that the city looked nicer from space) meaning he either doesn't have to breathe or can hold his breath for a LONG time (meaning even if he's not immune by sheer durability, he is probably unaffected by poison gas because of that), can travel at over mach 20 at LEAST (him flying out of the house and grabbing Butcher in the time it took for the c4 to explode; as far as i'm aware this may extend to mach 30 or higher which is FASTER than the speed at which a nuclear fireball expands), is immune to basically every weapon on earth (nukes are the contingency and its unlikely it'll even work against him), and he's generally massively stronger than anyone in the verse- which Soldier Boy should not really be comparable to.

You know it is bad when an entire video is dedicated for a single person.
Honestly like half of his videos are like that now
It's pretty tame in comparison to what most of us do in video games tbh, especially those of a galactic scale.
I've genocided the universe once in Stellaris at least, killing at least about 50 or so intelligent species. I even turned an entire planet's population into goo by making it into a machine world. Most of the populations I either genocided outright or turned into living batteries like in the Matrix. Ahhh.. good times. The galaxy was so lag free after that. 🥰
Though my favorite crime was betraying the entire galaxy and real life friends to become the immortal-god Emperor, but I digress.
@@Bidmartinlo damn he needs to make a video sentencing “the average stellaris player” for their crimes
@@Bidmartinlo It's not really tame, at least what comes to a legal standpoint, because technically, as a dictator, everything you do is legal.
@@theflyingfinn8223 Stellaris was just an extreme example and you don't really do anything as a "person".
Perhaps the TES games are a better example. In Oblivion and Skyrim I frequently disobey the law to train my stealth related abilities. I usually rack up a kill count of at least 1500 people in either games, 50 - 100 being guards (since killing them has so few consequences).
Sure, numbers-wise I'm sure Homelander could maybe compare, but even he can't say he captures people's souls to get the sales value up on jewelry or perform demonic summoning and necromancy. That's not even breaking the law, but is extremely f-ed up. Yet everyone does it.

@@the_only_lonelyone of the greatest shows but okay
@@MonkePog. no I mean the amount of murders Homelander commits is just even more fucked up then I thought. The show is great
Murders you forgot about:
- The guy that talked with Maeve that he later lasered in half
- There were 7 Vought soldiers, not 6
- The actor Homelander made Ryan kill
- Cameron Coleman
- All the employees killed in the finale
- The supe terrorists killed by other supes would count as his murders, because by creating them he forced the supes to kill them.
- The two skaters killed by Jesus would fall on Homelander (also if it's unintentional, it's just manslaughter, but you counted it all as murders)
And you forgot ALL the attempted ones
It wouldn't be like Homelander could apply for parole any sooner if those additional deaths and attempted murders were excluded.
@@3baxcb Why count anything at all then?
I could be wrong, but Homelander I dont think would be personally charged for the death of Cameron Coleman. He doesn't coerce anyone into killing him and Homelander doesn't do it himself, he just makes a suggestion about what should be done about him. I could be wrong, but I feel like that specific one could be argued that it was the fault of the others

2:33 Homelander saving the plane scenarios are hilarious.
Sup Philly
He's got nothing on Superman. The Man Of Steel would have another great rescue to his resume.
Supposedly, it has to do with physics. In order for Homelander to lift a plane significantly larger than him, he needs to be able to create leverage to exert force against. Otherwise, he would potentially damage the plane and make things worse. It's like how a nail can support the weight of a 200-pound bookshelf against a wall, but if a 200-pound human tries to stand on said nail, it's more likely to pierce their flesh. Omniman and Superman both have nuances to their flight to allow them to bypass these restrictions. Viltrumite Flight is actually akin to telekinesis on their body, meaning that they can create their own leverage anywhere, while Kryptonians are able to exert a thin telekinetic force onto objects they touch to help maintain structural integrity.
@@xmoore5659Good analysis. It's like how in his animated origin episode from Diabolical, he tries to do a bunch of classic Superman moves but they don't work with him because of physics. Compared to other supers, he's simply bad product.
@@3baxcb not at all, in this scenario physics applies, and so when Superman tries to stop the plane, his dumb self finds out he went right threw it and destroyed the dang thing.

Homelander has ultra reflex and speed as shown when he saved Butcher at the end of Season 1, so he didn't actually have to kill anyone even in "self-defense", he could arrest all these people. You got it right the first time.
Also the fact that at the begining you counted the car, but not the murder contradict themselves. The car being counted would imply that Homelander was supposed to think of something that didn't involve destroying someone's car, but then he would also have to think of something that didn't involve killing the criminal, which was possible.

Noticed many are calling Homelander a psychopath but he’s actually a sociopath. You probably don't care about the difference but me being very interested in psychology, I have to share why I think he’s a sociopath.
1. Psychopaths are born the way they are and the origin of a sociopath’s illness is usually due to the environment and trauma. Homelander had a traumatic childhood being raised in a lab environment without a mother and being pumped with drugs everyday.
2. Psychopaths can’t form personal attachments and sociopaths can. Obviously Homelander had a unhealthy attachment to Stillwell.
3. Psychopaths tend to control their behavior and are highly manipulative. Sociopaths are quick to anger and they’re impulsive. Homelander is obviously quick to anger. One example of his impulsiveness is when he took down that plane that had a child in it because a man threatened Stillwell.
4. Psychopaths tend to have a steady job and career while sociopaths tend to not be able to hold a steady job. Homelander has a career as a superhero but Vought is being very lenient on him and make him look good to the public. If it wasn’t for Vought, people would see him for what he is.
5. Psychopaths tend to be more calculated and careful about not leaving evidence and sociopaths tend to be spontaneous and often leave evidence. Homelander left evidence on the plane he took down but Vought took care of it like they always do by silencing The Deep.
6. What a psychopaths and a sociopath have in common is that they lack empathy but psychopaths are worse. I think this is where people get mixed up.
You think him executing all the people at the lab he was tortured helped him cope?
“Wuuuuuh people with psychopathy/sociopathy are automatically evil/have evil tendencies, eheheheh I am very smart”
Literally all it takes is a cursory Google search to find out that sociopathy is a colloquial term, not a scientific or a medical term.
All it takes is a cursory Google search to find out that soci*pathy is not a scientific or medical term. Also good on you for being yet another person to senselessly talk about psych*paths as though they’re all automatically evil. (Censoring so that UA-cam doesn’t delete my reply)
@@LuckyToaster-fc4mu definitely not, useful revenge requires introspection which Homelander is absolutely incapable of. If anything it made him lose his mind even more
Psychopathy is a very interesting topic indeed. I believe that people arent really born AS a psychopath, since what we define as a a psychopath is their pattern of behavior and if that pattern is destructive towards themselves and others, and not their genetic makeup.
Psychopathy is basically the most severe form of ASPD, where all the worst traits of it manifest to a very high and toxic degree
I believe certain people are born primed with a higher likelyhood of becoming a psychopath since brainscans have shown that some people who fit the criteria of a psychopath have underdeveloped frontal lobes but then there are people who fit every criteria and have no discernable brain differences, their priorities and anger is just extremely messed up and twisted really.
Nature loads the gun and nurture pulls the trigger, in the case of true psychopaths anyhow.
Homelander is definitely a narcissistic sociopath thou.
Hes a very emotional man, he feels things deeply and strongly thats why his reactions are so volatile.
He CRAVES social acceptance and love like a meth addict yearns for his next high
He does not understand himself at all and does not know who he actually is inside. All he knows is his mask and his fury.
He is also probably an ENFJ (I use this as what it is, a surface level guide to show what guides certain people and what motivates them, and not the internet bullshit that makes you believe its your whole personality)
Anyways, ENFJ sociopaths will be charismatic, sociable, image obsessed, desperate for attention and social approval, extremely manipulative and callous. Think your average cult leader, they are often ENFJs
An INTJ sociopath like Stan Edgar is very calculated, cold, unwavering, socially responsible, intimidating, excellent maskers and ruthless to the N'th degree
Homelander is a self-involved, merciless and detestable prick but his childhood was so abhorrent I dont know if anyone could come out of that a well- adjusted loving person let alone a person with any resemblance of a soul
That weird homelander would never do such thing! Vought lied to me???

But here, he speaks, albeit being hesitant
If you gave him usurpation then shouldn’t anything he do in that position illegal? Like imprisoning the starlighters and the boys using interment camps?
Edit: also when he ranted on tv should be misconduct since he wasn’t supposed to do that and slander since he says “you’re not the real heroes, I’m the real hero”
That could go under crimes against humanity so it's a life sentence if he's lucky

0:18 Would the car Homelander be totaled?
For anyone unaware, if a car is totaled, that doesn't mean it's damaged beyond repair, as one might think. It means it's damaged beyond what your insurance will pay for. With that in mind, I imagine insurance companies would factor in damaged incurred from the activities of Supes and raise their limits for property damage. However, in this case, maybe insurance would cover it? I don't know about the state this takes place in, but in my home state of Colorado, insurance can cover up to $25k for injury to one person, $50k for two or more, and/or $15k for property damage. If the damages to the car are worth $10k, insurance would cover that.
Anyone want him to try and judge the Waterson family (The amazing world of Gumball)? Richard might just beat whatever his name was on the last video. Anyways excellent vid
I feel the Boys Diabolical episode 8 could have been included as well, as it is considered canon to the main show. In turn, that would add another load of murders to his murder charges.
Ditto for Black Noir who only got off because Homelander killed him.

0:19 you boys ok??? :)

What I hate but also love about Homelander is that nobody can stop him because he can literally do whatever he wants and gets off Scot free because everyone’s so afraid of him.
Homelander’s weakness: his desire for admiration and attention has weakened him and always limited what he can and cannot do. If he truly didn’t care about what people thought of him, he wouldn’t hesitate to truly do whatever he wanted. His need for approval has costed him the ability to do whatever he wants.
How did it take him this long to get a death sentence 8:47
My most sincere congratulations Mousait, this time you really outdid yourself. This video is even better than the Archives one because you finally decided to show us in detail the scope of Homelander's atrocities and for that you deserve a medal.

1:43. To be fair. Maeve isnt as big as the plane Homelander could lift her just fine. And him trying to lift the plane would be like a needle piercing your foot. Also if Homelander tried lifting it with nothing to stand on a counter force would occur so he couldnt lift it.
I mean if he took the weight using his entire body and flattened himself and gradually increased his up he could slow down the plane some what this way he increases the area meaning he wont go through the plain and also doing it slowly means it's less likelt to rip the metal I mean considering the principle of his flight would mean he has a ability to control his centre of gravity I mean he makes the area to push off if he didn't he wouldn't be able to fly
@rogerjack18 Possibly. But even then, Homelander isn't as big as the plane, so it would either tear holes through the plane or create a counterforce so he can't do anything
Yea but he mentioned that the nose landing gear was designed to hold the weight of half the plane. And that wouldn't be much bigger than homelander, so he could likely support it too.

I'm not a legal expert, but I feel like forcing The Deep to eat Timothy should fall under battery instead of coercion. Here in the states, battery can apply even if the offense didn't cause physical harm to an individual. A good example being tricking a religious person to eat pork. Sure, the pork doesn't physically harm whoever ate it, but it would still cause immediate distress. We can clearly see something similar happen with Homelander forcing Deep to eat something he sees as sentient.
Isn't coercion more serious?
1:33 was self defense. As damage of the controls was accidental/unintentional and he wasn't required to save everyone, There is a video going deeper into it with proof but the only thing he can be charged on while on the plane is threatening the passengers, as he was not required to save the passengers since damaging the controls was completely accidental
