He's also strong he broke that hostage's neck with ease it's extremely difficult to do that even as a trained assassin And he was able to survive being burnt by that one supe who set him on fire
Damn. Just realise, they could have played with him being mentally unstable. Like what happened to noir, would fit perfect with the comic version of him and what he did. Yes still very dark and edgy. But adds more reason to why it is. They could still do that if they bring him back. But for me he feels a bit wasted now. Even if he does come back. Still was a let down after all that back story build up. One final note. The comic idea would have ruined his character being more likeable. So it isn’t a bad miss opportunity. Keeps his character human
Maybe black noir is this childisch person because his brain got "knocked out" and regenerated so that the brain that regenerated is stuck in growth rn meaning he needs to mature more for his regenerated brain to be on the lvl of an adult it would make sense
So either A he can regenerate for the most part and therefore wasn’t killed by Homelander at the end of S4 OR they are bringing in the comic accurate black noir which is a clone of Homelander but even more unstable
@@shallowlion I was thinking that too but after yesterdays episode it seems the most we’ll get in terms of them discovering that is “did he just talk?” And “he can fly?” I’m sure off that alone they deduced he’s a different guy. I thought maybe she’d try to take him out with nuts and it not work
Are you sure he could see these characters before? At least in The Boys Netflix series, I got the impression he could only see them AFTER getting that brain injury in Nicaragua from SB, same with him not talking, I always felt like that wasn't just a feature of his 'Black Noir' character that Vought wanted, but another side effect from the brain injury that they rolled with as well. Because back in Nicaragua he was talking and even arguing with Stan Edgar and no Buster Beaver characters in sight.
It would be bad ass if the OG black noir came back in the final season all juiced up and he ends up killing soldier boy and than helping kill homelander
It actually hurts when I think about how black noir just wanted to be able to be a superhero without his mask on but was disfigured and brain damaged so badly he had to continue wearing the mask, it’s like a prison cell for him that he’s constantly trapped in
Watching this makes me think their is a character we have all met that can see into the future.. like he's letting all this happen so he can snatch power.. which is why the kid that can manifest anything he can think of is so dangerous. That kid can literally change reality by thinking and this one guy can just see everything their already is..but he makes things that are not..meaning the new kid has the only power that matters and all stuff in the main show is a side line. 😊
Black Noir has a kind of Frankenstein's Monster vibe. I reckon if Edgar has someone stitch his organs back to together, inject him full of Compound V to enhance his healing factor, and then electrocute him to get his heart beating, he could recover. But only if you got to the body fast enough to prevent decomposition.
I’m of the opinion that Black Noir’s Power is literally the inability to die. He can be beaten severely, be burned alive, have traumatic brain damage, have many bones shattered, and have Homelander punch a hole in his abdomen, but he can never die. This would explain how he survived a beating from Soldier Boy, or the explosion from the terrorist super with only a burned off face. Perhaps in this season, the replacement Black Noir will meet his predecessor wanting his costume back.
@@vibby1586 honestly think he’s going to come back one of these episodes are going to be about the second getting the role he’s probably going to Come back randomly n snap that dudes neck

Black noir tanks a straight up superpowered explosion from point blank and doesn’t move a muscle, gets his brain scooped out, gets shot in the head and heart multiple times, but a single gut punch from homelander “kills him”. I ain’t buying that he’s still alive. They also kept soldier boy alive. Those 2 are gonna duke it guaranteed
He probably doesn’t have full blown age regression, just that it only occurs along side his PTSD. His ability to speak however has been completely hindered, as well as some cognitive functions.

He also has enhanced senses, enhanced invulnerability, and strength so that’s another power he has and we know his healing factor isn’t like that one guy in the show cutting arms off for money so I agree with your assessment of the healing factor part
That’s smart bro but I don’t think it’s the case, they were going to do something with his character but fucked it, and used him as a distraction
He's also strong he broke that hostage's neck with ease it's extremely difficult to do that even as a trained assassin
And he was able to survive being burnt by that one supe who set him on fire
Tbh I kinda feel like Noir could have def survived homelander i he just felt so betrayed and abandoned he just wanted it all to end
hes in season 4 set pictures
Basically, black noir is what happens if you take the skills of Batman and combine him with the mind of pyro from tf2
Literally.
Maybe black noir is this childisch person because his brain got "knocked out" and regenerated so that the brain that regenerated is stuck in growth rn meaning he needs to mature more for his regenerated brain to be on the lvl of an adult it would make sense
Imagine one of your weakness is a almond joy
💀
Lively hallucinations seem to be a semi often occuring side effect of V
I really hope he’s still alive , he can regenerate so it’s not a stretch to say his organs can too
Also has a weaknesses to being impaled through the stomach
😂literally
6:17 that and the fact his parents injecting him with Compound V indirectly lead to him being disfigured
You don't watch the show 🤦🏾♂️ this is the dumbest comment 🤡
Nah, I'll be in denial. He's alive somewhere and maybe in S5 he'll appear again. We wasted screentime on him to be put out like that? Fuck that
So either A he can regenerate for the most part and therefore wasn’t killed by Homelander at the end of S4 OR they are bringing in the comic accurate black noir which is a clone of Homelander but even more unstable
I love his nut allergy. It’s so random and quirky, but it fits perfectly
Fun fact They got the idea because the actor has that same nut allergy irl
I think this also going to be a sign in the future episodes that the boys (mainly Starlight) can figure out that this noir isn't the original one.
@@shallowlion I was thinking that too but after yesterdays episode it seems the most we’ll get in terms of them discovering that is “did he just talk?” And “he can fly?”
I’m sure off that alone they deduced he’s a different guy. I thought maybe she’d try to take him out with nuts and it not work
@@kllwtt Or "Cunt is narcoleptic!" (Sry if this wasn't the proper line, cause i watch the series in a different language)
Note: Black Noir had cartoon delusions before Soldier Boy beat him as the cartoons mentioned they helped him get through puberty
That supports the theory someone mntioned about a supe in Gen V who got them because aof a pychic sup
Havent even watched the show but I really hope he comes back and whoops Soldier Boy in season 5 somehow
Show black Noir is too cold bro, idc.
Unless in the show he got on on the starlight thing then yeah, he redeemable to me.
Everyone but gunpowder was in on the plan
Black Noir is also somewhat based on G.I. Joe's Snake Eyes.
I think it will be Homelander vs his son at the end of the tv show
Nah, it's Butcher vs Hughie at the end, just like the books
Tf u talkin bout
Brother what is this paragraph 💀
Black Noir has a kind of Frankenstein's Monster vibe. I reckon if Edgar has someone stitch his organs back to together, inject him full of Compound V to enhance his healing factor, and then electrocute him to get his heart beating, he could recover. But only if you got to the body fast enough to prevent decomposition.
I did not understand 90 % of the dialogue, but I enjoyed this.
Maybe ripping his heart out reset him ? He grows a new heart and comes back as a competent person
Wouldnt going for the brains be more effective? He'll gain new brains and become a different person.
He’s like the transformers prime sound wave to homelander messed up megaton in a way
Black Noir's skill and personality perfectly describe me 💀
I’m of the opinion that Black Noir’s Power is literally the inability to die.
I think its actually just a new dude in the suit black noirs dead so instead of get a new hero vought just let a new person play the role.
@@vibby1586 honestly think he’s going to come back one of these episodes are going to be about the second getting the role he’s probably going to Come back randomly n snap that dudes neck
@@vibby1586yeah this new one seems to have enhanced strength from compound V as well
Justice for Noir.
I have a theory that black Noir Phoenix power he can like re-form him self every time he gets killed or something
He will be back with upgrades I’m sure. Also soldier boy will return and he will get his revenge on both homelander and soldier boy. Would be a great ending
He’s like the transformers prime sound wave to homelander megatron
“His extra ordinary strength” bro it’s one word😂
I’d consider his healing factor an ability
Naaaaah these are cool I enjoy these recaps especially noir’s and I remember him being more evil on the comics and stuff
I think they will possibly bring noir back as tech night, they could build a cyborg with what’s left of him🤨 it would be a shame to just never see him again, either that or someone else with similar powers will become the new black noir
sorry lil bro he is not tek knight
@@ChronicSynchronizer who knows, the real tech night could be killed off in gen v and get replaced. Although I’ve heard black noir is coming back for season 4. Honestly you never know what’s coming with this show🙈
@@AlphaEngineer2022 fair enough, this show has definitely switched my expectations before
@@ChronicSynchronizer indeed, that’s why I love it so much, great writing and pretty much unpredictable 😊
So noir can survive an explosion in his face and walk it off but a gut punch killed him? I hope soldier boy returns in season 4 and wears the noir costume just to f--k with homelander.
If they end up having Black Noir come back and team up with Mother's Milk to take down Soldier Boy that would be orgasmic to watch.
Still can't believe they change Black Noir
My the most favourite character of all.
Earving the real black noir hero
Never forget the things he has done in the comics 😂
Not the same noir
“Black noir has no ability”
(Black noir takes bullets to his skin and a gets shot in the hand and does not flinch)
Has anyone noticed Black Noir translates to Black Black
I would venture that he can heal at an advanced rate but cannot regenerate. I also wonder if he even eels pain anymore.
The new Noir in season 4 is pretty much what the original Noir used to be
Hes a litteral BLACK NINJA
He probably doesn’t have full blown age regression, just that it only occurs along side his PTSD. His ability to speak however has been completely hindered, as well as some cognitive functions.
It’s weird that Noir got burned due to Soldier Boy burning his face on “A CAR” but took a full on point blank range explosion from the Terrorist supe villain
helmet was off
@@ZekeReloaded yea I get that the helmet was off but he’s strong as fuck & getting burned by a damn car is just beyond ridiculous! Like I can throw you through a brick wall without you breaking bones but you can get burned by a damn car
@@bigmacatackkk5737 the car was actively ON FIRE
Black noir in the comics was the one who did the bad things not Homelander, if you even saw clips black noir says he took them and dressed up as Homelander
maybe if black noir wore his fucking helmet to fight the STRONGEST HERO at the time he would be able to talk still
That is the primary tragedy, wanting to be free of it trapped him in it forever.
@@Therathmataz i didnt even think of that, the symbolism is wild
Anyone who's watched the show already knows all these details though? You haven't even mentioned any background details/events about the character.
We were lied to..again. Stan Edgar is the original Black Noir. The reason he's not afraid of homelander or the head popper.
His face and head didn’t heal. Soooo no way he can fully regenerate himself
From everything I've seen of the comic's and the show, the show does a better job of telling the story
the cartoon characters he saw was because of when soldier boy smashed his head in with a shield
It be funny black noir is the only one that takes out home lander
the thumbnail with it's 12 fingers (no thumbs) is cursed! :P
If you didn’t know most of Hero’s in boys tried to be good hero’s but let the power get to them
Wish there was a major spoiler warning for the ending of the comics but good vid.
We don't need spoilers for decade old content
🤡 the comic been out for nearly 20 years and the shows been out for at least 3 years you had enough time don't need to say spoiler alert
So, it seems that in the comics, Black Noir is the real main antagonist of the story since he instigated the entire conflict by assaulting Becca.
I always considered black noir a Batman of the boys universe
Nathan Mitchell the new Noir !!! Noir #1 to Me
Fun fact: in french, ‘noir’ translates to black. His name is essentially Black Black
This hitting a lil too close to home at 7:12 to 7:29 😂
Nobody ever mentions that he clearly comes from Snake Eyes
