New 2024 Dacia Duster 4x4 OFF ROAD Drive and Design

The 2024 Dacia Duster has been unveiled, marking a new era for this popular vehicle that first made its debut in 2010 and underwent a significant update in 2017. The Duster is celebrated for its solid performance, modern design, and eco-friendly features.
In this latest update, the most notable change is in the engine technology. The previous 1.5-liter dCi diesel engine has been replaced by a cutting-edge 1.2-liter TCe 130 engine. This new engine is a turbocharged three-cylinder that uses the advanced Miller cycle and includes a mild-hybrid system. Buyers can choose between front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and pair either option with a six-speed manual transmission. This setup is not only more sustainable but also reduces fuel consumption by about 10% while boosting the car's performance.
Additionally, the Duster now includes a hybrid powertrain option, similar to the one in the Dacia Jogger wagon. It features a 1.6-liter gasoline engine combined with two electric motors and a small 1.2-kWh battery. The transmission is automatic. The hybrid system's design allows the Duster Hybrid 140 to start running on electricity, significantly increasing its efficiency. Dacia reports that this new hybrid model can reduce fuel usage by an average of 20% and up to 40% in city settings. When driving in urban areas, it operates on electric power 80% of the time, underlining Dacia's commitment to reducing emissions and promoting sustainable driving solutions.
