Spacehog has a very unique and special meaning to me personally. They were the first album I bought. Did you meet the band? I would love to hear the story of it.
@@edwardk3 I never met the members, as far as I remember, but I do know we were living in the UK for about eight or nine months while my dad was there doing something in regards to music, and he never really talked about anything in regards to the band members, it was all behind-the-scenes business stuff or whatever. But I do know I think he was also friends with a guy named Herb McDonald who did promotions in Las Vegas and stuff and I think he had something to do with me being there, but that was never elaborated on, but we used to go to his house in Vegas a lot and I remember meeting his daughters, I even remember one was named Kimberly. But this was so long ago like in the 90s, and I was just a kid. But nobody ever really talked about what happened or how I was there. So to me it's still a mystery. I'll try to ask my dad or something next time I see him. I dunno while in the UK my dad also had something to do with the band Placebo, which is how I heard about them as well. He just never really talked about his job.

I'll tell you a story relating to this. I play drums in a local band. I'm Canadian and living in Ottawa. Two weeks ago, we hired a recording engineer and rented studio space and when they asked me what kind of music inspired me the most, I said spacehog. So everyone in the session sat and listened to in the meantime on the stereo. While one of the younger members said she didn't recognize the track, for the rest of us, it is a song that instantly transported us to a unique place and time back in the 90s.
