In my opinion I have tried Liftoff and Uncrashed but I think the DJI Virtual Simulator is pretty good and very similar to what you can actually do with the Avata 2. I don't think the DJI people designed it for fun. Greetings to all DJI pilots. Very very good video, Mate. You deserve one more subscriber like me! Hugs from England.
love the video! i just got my RC 3 today and tried liftoff... man i crashed sooo fast and so many times.... gonna spend some time everyday practicing! keep it up
Thank you for watching! It is my pleasure. I have uploaded a decent amount of my flights since this video, you should definitely check them out if you haven't already!
Excellent Liam. Thanks for sharing your 1st Manual flight with the Avata 2. I still have to start flying in Manual mode. Strongly recommend setting EIS to Rocksteady. I'm subbing. Greetings from Montreal, Canada.
Hey. It was my pleasure! You got it my friend. I would recommend putting a good amount of hours in on the sim. I have heard mixed opinions on setting EIS to rocksteady, opposed to no EIS and running it through Gyroflow post flight. I will be sure to make a video comparing the two stabilization techniques! Much appreciated mate 👊🏼
I get alot of flickering In my highlights when I use rock steady, the stabilizer messes with it. Gyro flow is the way to go if you have alot of bright spots.
nice video!! had my Avata 2 for around a month now and its awesome!! I love it! The MC is great but you don't have as much control as with the RC3, its really hard to orbit with the MC but I can do it no problems with the RC3. I still use my MC for certain shots though as its still a very good controller, and the easy acro for stuff like the 180 move is awesome!!
Thank you very much! I found that the MC is great for chill & cinematic flights. I have yet to try out the easy acro mode bulit into the MC, ever since I got the RC3 I think I used the MC two times. I love manual mode and will continue to fly with the RC3. Have a great one! 👊🏼
Glad to hear your thoughts. I bought the FPV Controller 3 for the same reason. I barely have flown with motion controller - I am much more comfortable with a conventional controller flying DJI stuff for years. But I aspire to full manual and there's no time like the present to try the simulator and the VERY different stick control required, I just hope I am not to set in my habits to learn full manual. I agree that DJI put a LOT of thought/work into helping beginners step up to full manual. Beginner mode, then normal, then sport, then Manual with axis limits, then the full Monty. Without the wading pool, I am not sure I would just jump off the highest diving board into the deep end!
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment. DJI has made it so easy for anyone to start flying in full acro mode! That is the exact progression I did, as you can see in the video. I wish you the best of luck on your drone journey, remember to have fun!
Good job on your first manual flight. 👍 I'm still on the motion control 2. I need to get a sim on my pc to practice with the fpv remote 3. Which sim do you use?
Thanks a lot! The motion controller is still fun and I plan on using it for certain situations. The sim I use is Liftoff, it is the best in my opinion!
Was it a slip of the tongue when you said Motion Controller 2? If you've not had it very long then you should have got the Motion Controller 3 with the bundle?

Was it a slip of the tongue when you said Motion Controller 2? If you've not had it very long then you should have got the Motion Controller 3 with the bundle?
Yes it was a slip up! The Motion Controller 3 is what I was using. Thank you for stopping by 👊🏼
@@mailmanmedia No problem at all. Just wanted to make sure you hadn't been mis-sold the package. Nice video by the way.
that is so awesome, saying from same fpv pilot! ^^
So awesome indeed! 👊🏼
Don’t land in dirt sand you’ll mess up the motors
Ah. I've been doing that for so long now. Usually end up having to clean em 🤣
Don't tell that to my avata 😅
Very Nice vídeo 👍
Glad you enjoyed 👍🏼
What a video!! Might go buy one myself
Much appreciated. Products linked in description!
What simulator are you using to practice with the FPV Controller 3?
En el minuto 1:05 grabas a 30 o 60 fps?
Nice vid! Pro tip, don't land in sand!! lol Get a heli pad to so you can lay that down. Happy flying
That is a huge tip and I definitely learned that the hard way 🤣 I was cleaning sand out of the props & gimbal the next morning. Thanks 👊🏼
very nice ...new subscriber here !!
