Instead of going up a waistband size for more seam allowance, why not just add the extra 3/8 inch (or whatever) to the seam allowance using paper and tape? That way there's no guessing how much you're adding. Really well done video. It definitely helps to watch someone do this for reference. Thank you!
You could totally do that, it would definitely be a better fit! I just wanted to let everyone know that for some reason the waistband hasn't worked out for me and it's always easier to cut off excess material than to start over if the band is too small. Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
