"Hail to the king, to the king of the Kremlings!" I remember when I saw that trailer in my recommendeds, and knew, not only was history being made, but that he would be my new Smash main. And I watched every reaction I could. Now, we get to see it like never before, and history has been made again.
Most surprising base game reveal imo
I remember watching it live, the Belmonts had leaked and we were watching to see who would be revealed at the end, and when I saw the villains I knew it would have to be K. Rool.

This was neither the reanimated collab we needed nor wanted
But the one we deserved
As potentially one of the biggest K. Rool fans (maniacs) of all time, I am not exaggerating when I say I almost jumped out of my seat and screamed like a kid on Christmas when I saw this. Absolutely INCREDIBLE job, each of the artists did so amazing.
This was my first reanimated! Thank you so much for Schaffrillas for letting me be a part of your project! It's such an honor being among so many talented artists. 💜💙
Shoutout to Goop for staggering the credits so that I could easily read each name and admire each portrait before the next one shows up without making the credits longer than they needed to be. I have not seen anyone do that in credits before, and it's a lovely design decision.

It's finally out! Happy to have been a part of this, everyone's animations came out super well. I'm at 1:11 and yes I spent too much time adding miscellaneous cameos to it

This is absolutely beautiful. It's really sad that not much was done for K Rool outside of Smash since his reveal, but thankfully there are some people who still love this character (myself included) & express their passion for this giant Kroc. I still have hope for K Rool's eventual return in a mainline Donkey Kong game. Amazing job for all people involved in this project. XD
Same, I still wish for King K. Rool to appear again elsewhere one day. Smash Ultimate is a big step forward, but I would love to see what else Nintendo could have planned for him.
This was the reason I bought Smash Ultimate, and the reason I finally knew what a King K. Rool was. He just looked so damn cool.

I have NEVER seen a reanimated video THIS consistently incredible in terms of animation quality. A few stand out more than others but all of these look excellent

Man, there been a lot of love for King K. Rool recently. First the the music video with the original DK TV show voice actors, then the Donkey Kong vs King K. Rool short and now this. I never played any of the DKC games, but I hope he in the next one.
This reminds me of the reanimated collab of the DK cartoon that was started like 5 years ago and still has yet to be finished.
I'd love to see trailers for melee's new fighters. Yknow, ice climbers, game and watch, mewtwo...

@@valysheev It's just a fan nickname for the Mario/DK/Wario/Luigi's Mansion universe since each series focuses on it's own cast and usually they don't appear together besides things like crossovers (Smash) or spin offs.
This mash up of art styles in quick sequence is so manic and chaotic, I'm absolutely in love! Amazing execution!
I’ll never forget the wait for King K. Rool in Smash. After years of campaigning and making our voices heard, we finally got rewarded and were blessed with the return of our childhood favorite villain. The King K. Rool reveal trailer made me the happiest I have ever been, and Smash Ultimate would never be the same without him. The King K. Rool community feels like a home to me, thank you everyone for being “One of Us”!

I’d also like to see him rank all the live action Disney remakes, if they ever stop making those. It will be very painful but it can’t be worse than making the Illumination video.

"Krool" is read in english just like polish "Król", which means "King". So when I hear "King K. Rool", I immidiately think of it as "King King".
I think it's a funny coincidence, that in mario there is also "Koopa" which is read in english just like polish "Kupa"... and it means literally "Poop"
