- Let's see which characters can break King K. Rool's Belly Super Armor with just one move. Moves that hit multiple times (like Zelda's FSmash) are allowed as long as the hits connect automatically without further player input.

Yeah, the main trade-off between Pikachu and Pichu is that Pichu can't regulate the electricity it discharges so it injures itself on any attack that uses electricity, but the result is higher output and therefore more damage.
Is that also true for skull Bash. I thought it was just for the electrical attacks?

King K Rool's armor breaks at around 14.1%. It appears to about halve the damage that the attack would normally do, so the successful attacks are generally doing over 28%. Which means the ones that get K Rool to 18% are doing about 36% normally. Ridley's hits 20%, so that's a straight up 40% damage.
...So can we talk about Incineroar doing 35.7 PERCENT?! Jesus, max Revenge is a hell of a drug.

Yeah the Belly armor breaks at 28.5%. I remember when everyone thought it needed "3 hits" to break. Heard commentators making that mistake.
When you land it correctly, Ridley's Skewer hits for ~60%.

@@Gohma55 I think it was nerfed or something. the wikis are saying 40% +5%(x2) for 50% total. Something weird with K.K.Rool's belly armor is making only the strongest hit connect, I think it's because he is instantly going into an invulnerable-fallstate so the other hits don't true combo correctly.

It's not just a turnip--it's a very specific turnip face. Each face does a different amount of damage and knock back. The one Daisy threw is the rarest one and it deals devastating power. It's like a Mr. Saturn but can actually KO some foes sub 100%.

That's an armour plate. IIRC you can go into the game files and see his model without the armour plate, and he just has a normal alligator belly.

The reason for the two other K. Rools is to eliminate the 1v1 1.2x multiplier, which otherwise would have made some moves that didn't break the belly armor do so. This is demonstrating moves that break it in one hit, even without the multiplier.
This video reminds me of a 0-death combo I got against K Rool as Ridley in online Smash. I was trying to get back on the ledge as the K Rool was trying to ledge trap me. He tried to keep me from rolling in with the blunderbuss, but he was just far enough away that I could just get up after the cannonball flew past and use my down b to knock him down. I wasn’t sure what the most optimal punish was, so I used down b again, which was lucky for me because the K Rool decided to open up with a counter, and I broke his shield. Wince we were on a battlefield stage, this knocked him up onto a platform, which then gave me a great opportunity to hit him with my fully charged up smash, ending the 0-death and the game in 3 moves.
So a screaming mouse can do it but a guy who turned his fist into a fire bird can’t.
