DKC 1994: Jaunty sea shanty tune turns into intense pirate duel.
DKC2 1995: Jaunty sea shanty, but now the pirates own a gambling boat with a cocktail bar.
DKC:GBC 2000: The pirates are engaged in a pokemon battle.
DKC:GBA 2003: Jaunty pirate tune that slowly turns into a high octane speedboat race.
DKC2:GBA 2004: The cocktail pirates are back, and they've got the best drinks in the sea!
SSBU 2018: So it's all come to this. You are a great and legendary Pirate Captain. It's you against the world. Your crew stands at your back ready to throw down their lives in the name of honor and freedom. The sea calls your name, and you answer. The sun sets far over the horizon, and so long as there is salty breath in your lungs, you will chase it.
@Jaii Idk woodwind heaven, methinks.
A brilliant analysis I must say
You missed three.
@@Xalerdane Some of them were similar enough that they wouldn't be interesting to include
wELL THAT TOOK A TURN
They took out the absolutely legendary drum transition for no reason
Thank you David Wise for making the SNES sound chip your bitch, so these amazing melodies continue to be reused over and over as new entries are made.
Brawl's is good. But nothing tops DKC 1's. It's chill and the "Fake Win" makes you think it's over.
15 minutes of king K. Theme! I love the smash brawl adaptation it’s my favorite version!
S S B U VERSION *I N T E N S I F I E S*
I can definitely say it’s more authentic to how the original sounded. The SSBU remix is my fav though.
THE BOMBASTIC TRUMPETS
og is better to my opinion tho
Imagine they used that theme for a King K. Rool boss battle at the end of the Donkey Kong section of Subspace Emissary, I can imagine Bowser and King K. Rool fighting during that cutscene where Bowser was trying to turn Donkey Kong & Diddy Kong into trophies, Bowser & K. Rool both let out a loud roar and they’re attacking each other left and right, but then K. Rool beats up Bowser enough to the point he forces him to retreat because K. Rool wants to deal with the Kongs by himself, during the fight DK & Diddy are just watching in shock because they’re wondering if K. Rool was trying to save them from Bowser but soon enough they learn about his alterior motives, and then K. Rool decides to pick up that weapon that turns characters into trophies and aim it at the Kong’s but then they dodge the first shot and then the boss battle begins, after the boss battle ends K. Rool is playing dead and the Kongs poke him to make sure he’s dead and he’s so good at playing dead to the point that they’re easily convinced, so they decide to walk away, but then K. Rool gets back up while they’re not looking and he aims the weapon at Donkey Kong and successfully turns him into a trophy, but then Diddy Kong notices and now K. Rool is ready to aim for him, and then just like what happened during the Bowser cutscene, Fox comes in and saves Diddy Kong, and then at some point you get to unlock K. Rool as a playable character, while this would’ve been cool if it actually happened in Brawl (although it is technically still possible in case the next Smash game is gonna have a new Subspace Emissary based story) although if K. Rool was released as a playable character in Brawl we may not have gotten the even cooler version of the song in Smash Ultimate, so in hindsight I’m glad he released in Smash Ultimate.
Starting this video up and hearing the 1994 classic version brings such an incredible wave of nostalgia I'm damn near tearing up. DKC was the first video game that was MINE.
I remember getting the SNES for my 6th birthday with this one game. Core memory.
I remember beating levels that I thought must simply be impossible (Tanked Up Trouble, Snow Barrel Blast, Platform Peril). No one could be so skilled. But eventually I did it. Core memory.
I remember getting to this final boss and knowing it was the last challenge. This song plays. Core memory.
I remember beating King K. after so many attempts...the credits roll... AND HE GETS BACK UP. CORE MEMORY.
This game made me. Thanks for the video.
Me too first video game I ever played when I was 3 turning 4 I was a rookie then but now im the boss when it comes to Donkey Kong country on snes. The final boss fight song is the best of the game other than funky flights theme
The GBC version was a surprisingly good twist on the formula.
I still cannot believe how they could fit DKC in a Game Boy Color Cartridge... As the original game wasn't a huge revolution even on the SNES itself!
10:55: Bow down to out lord and savior
Even then all of the versions are great!
what genre of musix is this i gotta knoew
@@MegaTron7568videogame ost
I was on a cruize ship and I listen to this on my headphones and just started to walk back and forth and did some jumps
I love the epic rock twist the original version and its remixes have, but damn, DKC 2's version has me banging my head to that piano tune!
Definitely a top 10 boss theme of all time
When Metroid Dread comes out would you mind doing the evolution of Ridley’s theme please?
If He Is In The Game That Is,Cause We're Not Sure Yet.
The game have not ridley but it have the other boss.
too bad the last time we will probably ever see Ridley will be fusion. because the only reason he was to come back in other M (typing that made me shudder) was because there was some of Ridley's leftover body bits on samus's suit were cleaned off by some ringmasters within the federation and reversed engineered into a baby version of Ridley. at the end of other M the federation takes the remaining corpse, after he's killed by the queen metroid, into the B.S.L station for reserch, where it is then absorbed by an X becoming Neo Ridley. and which of course you kill him and soon after send the station into a crash course with SR388, destroying all X on the station as well as any metroid stranglers. but then dread happens so it isn't the end of the X just yet
Ridley is fekin dead
@@Kuesoth Ridley is damn stubborn. When he dies he always finds a way back. Weither it be he resurects his memories into a space virus, make himself a cyborg, or even straight up rencarnate himself, Ridley will be back.
la nostalgia amigo, en serio que trae recuerdos de los buenos
en serio, me acuerdo de pequeño jugando donkey kong country con mis primos
My favorite version has the be smash ultimate version (the one with the trumpets). I may be a bit biased though, since I play trumpet and think it's the greatest instrument ever made.
It sounds like Merengue.
And I mean that in a good way.
As a fellow trumpet player, I agree 100% with this statement.
Erm actually, the tenor saxophone is the best 🤓🤓🤓
good, good.
*now we need all of them played at the same time.*
That could only go very well, or very poor.

1994 and 2018 the best ones!
1994 - 2003 - 2018
Surprised there was no jungle beats version, would have been fun as hell.
Unpopular opinion: Capes should absolutely make a return as a standard fashion statement.
04:06 and also from donkey Kong land
Looks like I'm not the only one who played Donkey Kong Land
The original is still the best for me
Es normal que esta cancion me haga llorar de la emocion?
Sobretodo si llevas pidiendo a King K. Rool desde Brawl, si!
It has to be the smash ultimate one, what else can it be?
The sounds used in the brawl one are just so satisfying to me
That sentry is an American!
Memes aside, it's upsetting that it took *24* years for them to make a worthy successor to the original.
Implying brawl wasnt???
Why the game boy hit different ✋😟
Weaker hardware
Donkey Kong Country has an immortal soundtrack fr
13:33 this one sounds like if gangplank galleon was used to replace yakkity sax.
Oh my god its king of skill evolution no way
1994 la mejor versión para mi.
Aye why they go off like that at 12:50 felt like I was at a pep rally
??
K Rool rules especially when you put your opponent in the torture rack
Awesome video! Good job, @GamingEvolutionX! 👍 Could you make a video called "Evolution of Chemical Plant Themes (1992 - 2024)"?
You forgot the original donkey Kong land version
Exactly
The GBC version is also the version used in DKL.
I thought so too, but the GBC version used in this video is just the version from DK land. so it's all good
Can you please upload Von Kaiser's animations and quotes from Punch-Out!! for the Wii?
13:09
I NEED A HEROO
How could you forget putting the version from Donkey Kong Land 1?....
GBC version of it is the same.
12:50 LOVE IT!!!
First one makes me want to go flicker strike again...
Don't know why, but the tune reminds me of Rambo
IM T H I C C K
10:56 La del smash ultimate del 2018 esta mejor
no solo es mejor, es legendaria, me dieron ganas de ser pirata y rapear junto a mi tripulacion mientras lucho contra un gorila con corbata y un chango con gorra que dice nintendo
Oh man... Listening to all of them back to back like this. The original has to be the top spot just for nostalgia. But I think after that Brawl is my favorite. I actually don't care for the SSBU version much. I lump it with the DK Land versions if I am being honest.
Whare is the version from donkey Kong land 1
the GBC version is identical
They're all good but, come on. Comparing any of these to Ultimate just isn't fair.
You banas dey donkey kong
1994-2018piano arrangement
個人的に一番好き
ua-cam.com/video/jcvCOVogV08/v-deo.html
Where's the Donkey Kong Land's version?
the GBC version is identical
1994 is the best
Legendary final boss tune.
Although I must say that the best rendition I've heard was made by some guy on UA-cam, going under the channel name "GuitarWanker90".
Very true to the original, but remade in a rock/metal theme. Simply brilliant
I really don't care for SSBU's remake, I much prefer Brawl's
We all agree than, The DK 94 was and stay the best game in Nintendo musically and adventure..., people who said other things, just shut you F*M* 🥰🤣
I guess this channels dead now
