That boys and girls is what we call a DANecdote. My life is so weird seriously this all actually happened. Also yes I was definitely mostly taking the piss at the end there but it's a good moral anyway.

(The milk fic, the hat fic, Dipper goes to Taco Bell, the squilch fic, etc.) And I have never been the same. I don’t think any book can make me nauseous anymore.

Cute story!!! But I know why she was escaping and started to have low energy! Hamsters require 450 square inches of unbroken space, at a minimum. As well as the saw dust, that causes respiratory problems. It's amazing that you loved Suki! Sadly there wasn't much ways to research all the known facts we know today... they also require 2 hideouts at a minimum, chews as their teeth are like beavers, play toys so they don't get bored and puzzle toys to keep them occupied! Hope this helped ☺️😋

Dan is such a good storyteller. I can't even. He can deliver a basic story in a way that it feels like a fascinating plot for a movie I'd love to see and then he attac us with some life lesson about human existence.

Oml legit the EXACT same thing happened to me, i bought the hamster that looked different out of all of its siblings, my hamster used to always play with, then it bit me and i took it personally, then he learned to monkey bar across the cage and flip upside down and push the cage lid open and escape all the time (we had to pull the washing machine out once) .... and then it died at the age of 3 :(
That's because she was stressed. If Hamsters don't have enough space (they need about 450 square inches minimum) they'll start monkey baring and trying to escape. If you got a cage from a store, it was likely too small.

When I was four, my mom bought a rabbit named Sugar the day after her best friend died. At night, my mom would sit on the couch holding and petting Sugar until she could stop crying. For years afterwards, my mom would see Sugar and be reminded of her best friend and anytime she felt sad, she would just hold Sugar until she felt better. Sugar lived nine years and in that time the raw wound of grief had become a rough scar. It wasn't until later in my life when I was dealing with severe depression that I realized how much it matters to have some source of joy in your life when everything seems bleak. I finally understood why my mom was so attached to Sugar. That rabbit taught me so many things, but I think the lesson of comfort was the most profound.

I got a hamster for my birthday and it had babies which I gave one away to my friend (It escaped into the wilderness) and the others died because of cats. My momma hamster was in her cage and we were eating dinner, when i heard squealing coming from my room. i go into my room and find my 3 y/o cousin CRUSHING my hamster to death. I took it away from her and cradled her in my hands until she took her final breath. *IT WAS TRAUMATIZING*
