@@breadgodgaming hm true, it might be tricky to make them attack. Maybe the good old "remove commander" cheese could do it if you park there and they're close enough. I also found a little something as the Byzantines emperor. It can be a bug or can be intended, God knows? You've your normal army and one imperial army that has smaller retinues than your normal one. However this retinues get up to 50% final multiplier of your stationing bonuses due to your governor skill. I didn't test how stupid it can get because I was doing a throwaway run for some achievements. But oh boy, if that's not broken idk what it's.

I was thinking siberia or just taking jerusalem as a hostile faith, although I would like to be in a mountainous area That is insane if true, you're saying on top of the new flat buffs plus stationing their final damage is again buffed by 1.5? You probably could get varangian vet toughness to 350 or something at that point lol.
@@breadgodgaming Oh yeah, maybe in Iberia can work too for the convenience. Could build up like Astorga (it's mountains) that's right next to Santiago, being a hostile faith will trigger a crusade eventually with the advantage that you can conquer Santiago only when your fortress is built. About the governor buff it's pretty crazy, in a 867 start and without building Constantinople cataphracts from "my army" get 187 dmg, from the "imperial army" they get 281. Constantinople doesnt have anything besides being a castle level 2 and walls and gates lvl 1. I'll send you screenshots in a new post so you can delete the links, it might get sent to your spam area on yt tho.
I haven't seen a comment asking about the elephantry + wootz steel combo for a few plots in India. I know it's fairly minimal, but there are at least 3 coastal jungle duchy capital holdings (Magampura, Mahoyadapuram, and Thana) that could add 8% (from wind furnaces) each since the elephantry building is basically equivalent to the camelry for KE. Besides the downside of expanding your realm too much/ a lot of complexity, is there a specific reason not to do this? Besides that, though, incredible work! I learned some new stuff and gained new ideas, specifically about using opinion modifiers in order to hold more duchy buildings! I'll probably go for that soon, too, but I'm just thinking more about the theoretical limits of just knight effectiveness
This dude is insane, I always start my CK3 campaigns like "aiight this is going to be my serious campaign" and I just end up finding inbred people too funny and go for a family circle gameplay. 9/10 my player heir becomes some dude I have no idea who they are after like 10 generations.
Man i love your super informative videos but everytime i want to recreate what you do i realize how almost lackluster the game feels without any of the dlcs. So my questions what are the most important dlcs to buy to recreate these videos?
Thank you for your kind words! I'll write down my thoughts on what each DLC can help you in terms of min-maxing --Royal Court - fully customized culture so you can pick all 8 traditions instead of only adding traditions like in vanilla. Hybridize and diverge allow for instant head of culture / tech researched. High min-maxing value. --Northern Lords - some decisions are OP in this DLC like 1) elevate kingdom of mann = 7500 special troops 2) forge the jomsvikings = 1500 special troops 3) varangian adventurer = up to 2000 special troops. It makes tribal viking rulers even more OP. Although honestly any tribal start is strong enough even without DLC. It does also add random invasions by viking armies (~9000 levies) every 5 years so if you're in the northwest of the map and aren't ready you can get rekt, but you can change this in the game rules. No min-max value if you're not viking, otherwise medium min-max value because of making tribal starts even more OP. Vanilla tribal starts are OP enough though imo. --Tours and Tournaments - ability to choose event options saving on costs or increasing spend to boost resource gains / unique gains like renown. Accolades can be used for min-maxing. Medium min-maxing value --Legacy of Persia / Fate of Iberia - extra dynasty tracks but nothing OP here imo. Mostly good flavor if you like the regions with Iberia > Persia imo. Low min-maxing value --Wards & Wardens - gives events for extra skill points and random artifacts which is free 40/80 gold in the early game, doesn't happen too often. Skills may be nice but low min-max value. --Friends & Foes - an event pack essentially. Increased amounts of rivals and introduces feuds, which makes you more likely to die than vanilla. no min-max value if you don't want to die as much, minimal value if you want the events --Legends of the Dead - legends to give legitimacy, legendary buildings (also ludicrously buffed in the last patch), and special bonuses like claim on every de jure and evangelize (convert) your entire realm. High min-max value purely because of the rewards --Roads to Power - I need more testing, but so far not as much min-maxing for crazy builds but gives great value for roleplay (landless enables you to 'come back' for your kingdom etc) and byzantine flavor. unknown min-max value If I was recommending DLC's based on only enabling you to do more crazy builds, then imo it would be royal court and/or legends of the dead. If their bonuses are not as important to you, then northern lords and mastering viking tribal starts to take everything you need is pretty OP. Or even with no DLC my recommend starting strat is usually go with a tribal realm and rack up an insane amount of gold and/or land then you can build whatever you want. Also check out the decisions page on CK3 wiki for lots of special decisions that are available without DLC that can let you do crazy shenanigans too
So get a domains and build knights building in it and you got strongest champions. Now I need a guide 'fastest way to build in your domains', not like 500 years
These numbers can be pumped up quite a bit more. You can build two of each building in the same holding. So 2 Blacksmiths and 2 Camelry in every holding you got. It's been a thing since the game came out. Just google how to.
They shall be my finest warriors, these men who give of themselves to me. Like clay I shall mould them, and in the furnace of war forge them. They will be of iron will and steely muscle. In great armour shall I clad them and with the mightiest guns will they be armed. They will be untouched by plague or disease, no sickness will blight them. They will have tactics, strategies and machines so that no foe can best them in battle. They are my bulwark against the Terror. They are the Defenders of Humanity. They are my Space Marines and they shall know no fear. ~The Emperor of Britannia
Thank you for your kind words and support! I plan to make some videos on the new DLC for sure :) I didn't get it early so I'm just starting to crack the nut :)
I didn't know about the Embrace Tribalism decision, that means I can finally achieve my goal of forming the Empire of the North Sea, then moving to the Steppe and becoming the Greatest of Khans.
Yes! You can even varangian adventure into a tribal realm to get 2000 special troops then Elevate the Kingdom of Mann for 7500 special troops, then finish up your North Sea Empire for ultimate viking glory :)
wp, when i did a full knight effectiveness run somehow my children bugged out? because they spawned in with 65 base prowess and then they still got the additional prowess on top of that, basicly i had 50 knights with 100 prowess xD
An other thing that keeps bothering me, I don't know if you have the same problem, after 1100 the game starts getting slower and slower until it becomes nearly unplayable. I do have an enormous dynasty since I always aim to get as much reknown as possible (by 1150 i get something like 500+ reknown each month) does this have something to do with it?
This is incredible! But I have to ask, wouldn't Only the Strong be better than Recognition of Talent since they both give you better knights, only the former also gives you +2 knights and 100% knight effectiveness?
Thank you for your kind words! Yes you are correct! The main reason was for the strong hooks on a spymaster, but for more early game strength I'd definitely get only the strong, but my army was plenty strong then. Funny thing is I was so busy and forgot to use it, so I got myself murdered a few times. Once you get enough shrines you can probably comfortably replace it with desert ribats for more prowess.
Hi BreadGod, I'm trying to follow your recipe here but when I get to the elevate the kingdom of Mann part, I don't get the county changes to Norse culture anymore, apparently that was changed since when you made this video, everything is still there execpt that part. This means I can't just diverge from it, it just stayed the culture that it had so when it became my only holding i was stuck, they only thing that was left for me to do was start converting it back to norse, which took 10j and which set everything back. One other thing that I suggest doing when you change your faith the first time, just keep it theocratic, you don't need the laymen step since you can make theocratic vassels by simply firing your priest, then you become owner of all the tempels and then you can also do the trick with the change county capitol towards the temple so then you give it to a zealous guy from your new faith et voila: a new theocratic vassel and you don't need to go through the hassel of converting faits again.
So you do requests? Well, along with starting at age 0 with super traits I've had a lot of fun in two separate areas, one is the Iberian Struggle and the other is southern India, starting off as a zero year old kid and then once 16, instantly dipping out and becoming an adventurer. I usually go with weird faiths, like Cain Dualism in Iberia or Malabarist in Southern India, eventually finding a peasant revolt I can join by intentionally fudging a mission up and then gaining not one, but two separate adventurer-like buffs giving me a -125% gold requirement to army, which essentially means for one really easy mission you can get an insanely powerful start and conquer the entire region in one life and set up a dynasty. So I guess the request is do something like that. Bonus points if you try to champion the faith as one of the weird religions as an adventurer- however I've never once gotten the event to fire (i think it's bugged) so I cannot ever become a faithful champion no matter how many people I convert. Your religion will eventually become relevant to the Iberian Struggle I think once it's been there for a generation or so, or if you force convert (or evangelize) 80% of the region, but it's fun, interesting, and if you play with some of the whackier religions like abrahamic dualism, unique.
So once you become an adventurer, join a peasant revolt for the peasant leader trait and since we're an adventurer once we are landed again we get veteran adventurer trait and then use those two traits to conquer Iberia? Also is the decision you're talking about the 'Champion the Faith of the Country Basques' decision? For the involvement part, it's 80% of all counties of that faith/culture are inside Iberia, so you don't need 80% of Iberia to be converted. Instead, just make sure your faith/culture is basically all inside Iberia and not much outside of Iberia, like in France or other nearby places
This video should be promoted due to: 1. Time codes 2. calm voice 3. the pleasure from 125 men kill hordes of dudes Also after thousands of hours I found out how to make theocrat vassal
nice video, i myself also wanted to make a playthrough like that, only problem was i still cant diverge my culture (cause i didnt buy the dlc) which makes things so much more painful.
Thank you for your kind words! Yea DLC's make gameplay even more busted and quick. I do wish in vanilla you can change traditions :( Otherwise you'd have to just find a small tradition culture to start with
@@breadgodgaming i already did that SO often, i was already in cornwall, england ,sardinia, bretagne , somewhere in africa, bohemia. literally half my playing hours come from that.
Warriors by merit's blade master and 1prowess/fame result in greater average prowess versus performative honor's +1 knight is not as much overall prowess gain. Also, because my culture's martial gender rule is equal I can't actually make my daughters shieldmaidens, and also I've seen the AI rarely make their daughters shieldmaidens. You can only make your close family shieldmaidens so it's not as widespread prowess gain as warrior by merit's effect.
Yes! As glorbez mentioned I picked the specific 5 traditions because they're harder to add later, so I was taking advantage of diverge's OP ability. Only the strong only needs 6 x 12prowess knights of your culture so it's super easy to fulfill and add later. I'm not hurting for that 100% KE at all so I can just add it later :) Although it's funny because in this specific playthrough I didn't even really use the strong hooks for my spymaster anyways. I wrote in my google sheets (available in description) that later I would reform recognition to desert ribats for even more prowess
if your empire isnt the reason some peasant will fail their history exam in a thousand years did you really do well? student in 2025: so the twice crowned emperor came from scandinavia, conquered all of england, ireland, scotland and whales. united it into one empire. then for some reason made the empire of brittania which is just the isle of mann? why? also whats up with true asartruism? why was the twice crowned emperor and his dynasty immune to inbreeding? what is going on? professor: his reasons are unfortunately his own. all we know is that his dynasty made some of the greatest murder knights known to history. three of the twice crowned emperors great grandchildren are said to have stood against 10000. not because there weren't more men. it was a test you see. The other knights were ordered to stand down to bear witness.
newbie question, what's going to happen when I reach the end date, can I still continue to play or it will lose the save? I want my game to be endless so my hard work will not go to waste. I know I can just edit the game rules to no end date but I also want the achievements on.
Yea it'll just end and you won't be able to continue playing :( There might be a mod to retroactively change the state of the game rule for the end date, but I'm not too familiar with mods sorry :(

I don't know if my memory is wrong, but I think they took out the limit to max advantage I thought 100 was the max. So now I'm trying to create a defensive build against the world's conquerors but I'm not sure how to 'aggro' rulers to find me at my doorstep other than parking myself in an easy to spot place
@@sarsante Ah yea that's a great strat for battles, but I was more worried about where my realm should be so I can expect the most attacks on me haha. I was thinking siberia or just taking jerusalem as a hostile faith, although I would like to be in a mountainous area
That is insane if true, you're saying on top of the new flat buffs plus stationing their final damage is again buffed by 1.5?
Great High Quality Video
Thank you for your kind words!
those knights gonna kill more than the Black Plague
Thank you for your kind words haha. I have a different itch, I always want to restore the Roman Empire for some reason haha
This is a really great guide. Thank you!
Thank you for your kind words and support!
At this point he's got an army composed of Supermans
Lol this is so awesome thanks for this video it's crazy how much you can break this game
haha thank you for the kind words and support :)
It's hilarious to think about a man withstand >13k enemies and fight all the day until he was saved by his 2 friends that casually walked around
This British Isles strategy of superior knights and culture works in game also? Very nice
Man i love your super informative videos but everytime i want to recreate what you do i realize how almost lackluster the game feels without any of the dlcs.
So my questions what are the most important dlcs to buy to recreate these videos?
Thank you for your kind words! I'll write down my thoughts on what each DLC can help you in terms of min-maxing
--Royal Court - fully customized culture so you can pick all 8 traditions instead of only adding traditions like in vanilla.
Medium min-maxing value
--Legacy of Persia / Fate of Iberia - extra dynasty tracks but nothing OP here imo. Mostly good flavor if you like the regions with Iberia > Persia imo. Low min-maxing value
--Wards & Wardens - gives events for extra skill points and random artifacts which is free 40/80 gold in the early game, doesn't happen too often. Skills may be nice but low min-max value.
--Friends & Foes - an event pack essentially. Increased amounts of rivals and introduces feuds, which makes you more likely to die than vanilla. no min-max value if you don't want to die as much, minimal value if you want the events
--Legends of the Dead - legends to give legitimacy, legendary buildings (also ludicrously buffed in the last patch), and special bonuses like claim on every de jure and evangelize (convert) your entire realm. High min-max value purely because of the rewards
--Roads to Power - I need more testing, but so far not as much min-maxing for crazy builds but gives great value for roleplay (landless enables you to 'come back' for your kingdom etc) and byzantine flavor. unknown min-max value
If I was recommending DLC's based on only enabling you to do more crazy builds, then imo it would be royal court and/or legends of the dead. If their bonuses are not as important to you, then northern lords and mastering viking tribal starts to take everything you need is pretty OP. Or even with no DLC my recommend starting strat is usually go with a tribal realm and rack up an insane amount of gold and/or land then you can build whatever you want. Also check out the decisions page on CK3 wiki for lots of special decisions that are available without DLC that can let you do crazy shenanigans too
Bro is literally creating the thunder warriors
I enjoyed this video so much i hit the like button and left a comment.
Thank you for your kind words and support!
So get a domains and build knights building in it and you got strongest champions. Now I need a guide 'fastest way to build in your domains', not like 500 years
your champions should get the flee on sight order cuz what in the Minato was that
These numbers can be pumped up quite a bit more. You can build two of each building in the same holding. So 2 Blacksmiths and 2 Camelry in every holding you got. It's been a thing since the game came out. Just google how to.
You’re right I wonder how high one could go with utilizing every bug and exploit haha
This was a wild ride.

Ah sorry maybe I could've made it flow better there. Sometimes it's hard to know when to show and not tell, but at times tell might be better
@breadgodgaming I mean it gave me a good laugh, great video
Maan this is crazy
They shall be my finest warriors, these men who give of themselves to me. Like clay I shall mould them, and in the furnace of war forge them. They will be of iron will and steely muscle. In great armour shall I clad them and with the mightiest guns will they be armed. They will be untouched by plague or disease, no sickness will blight them. They will have tactics, strategies and machines so that no foe can best them in battle. They are my bulwark against the Terror. They are the Defenders of Humanity. They are my Space Marines and they shall know no fear.

Close Enough. Welcome back Emperor
Thank you :)
Nice! Now I w8ng for your opinion and new videos on Road to powers dls
Thank you for your kind words and support! I plan to make some videos on the new DLC for sure :) I didn't get it early so I'm just starting to crack the nut :)
This entire video is a message to paradox to cap knight effectiveness lol.
I have 2,4k hours in ck3 and this made my head spin.
Haha thanks and sorry!
Thanks! That’s amazing! I need those genes for my dynasty asap…
Mommy was a shieldmaiden with baby uppies
Basically, how to play Dynasty Warriors in CK3.
Finally!
Thanks for your continued support :)
Would be cool if you could put your prowess to use like that too
Just like in real life, CK3 is the best medieval simulator
LOL haha 48 hours it's funny this video was only 80GB and youtube's max is apparently 256...so I could do a 69 hour video?
Nobody talking about 2:05 imagine a newborn with 13 prowess beating your ass
Paradox definitely need to balance knights and men at arms. They are way too strong.
that knight is on hulk build
Mindblowing O_O
Bro's Mongolproof
This video should be promoted due to:
1. Time codes
2. calm voice
3. the pleasure from 125 men kill hordes of dudes
Also after thousands of hours I found out how to make theocrat vassal
Thank you for your kind words and support! I’m glad my voice is calm I hope to improve the audio quality even more :)
When you are Born but make Genius Decisions Like most Adults do not do.
Oh man that sucks! Scandanavian elective is always so unpredictable haha
@@breadgodgaming Yes !!
nice video, i myself also wanted to make a playthrough like that, only problem was i still cant diverge my culture (cause i didnt buy the dlc) which makes things so much more painful.
Man made dynasty warriors real in CK3.
That's literally what I was thinking haha. I was going to rename my warriors to Lubu and the like xD
1:58 I need to discover this strat in real life
We all got a bit of homelander in us
@@breadgodgaming Nah I'm the deep for real
Isn't Performative Honor almost identical to Warriors by Merit?
Warriors by merit's blade master and 1prowess/fame result in greater average prowess versus performative honor's +1 knight is not as much overall prowess gain. Also, because my culture's martial gender rule is equal I can't actually make my daughters shieldmaidens, and also I've seen the AI rarely make their daughters shieldmaidens. You can only make your close family shieldmaidens so it's not as widespread prowess gain as warrior by merit's effect.
I know its full on Min-Maxing the moment you pull out a spreadsheet.
haha they should add 'is playing Excel'
Hey yall don’t forget! Flagellate come from being zealous 👍
lore (kinght legends) acurate medieval european knights
Why not also add Only the Strong tradition to the culture at the start? That also add another 100% KE on top.
Only the Strong has prerequisites that are easier to meet, so can be put on later.
LOL I loved this entire story you have a way with words :) I shall keep that in mind to make sure I surprise the history books
Thats alot of damage !!!
I needed more worthy foes haha I should've waited for the new update then maybe the new conquerors would've posed a threat
newbie question, what's going to happen when I reach the end date, can I still continue to play or it will lose the save? I want my game to be endless so my hard work will not go to waste. I know I can just edit the game rules to no end date but I also want the achievements on.
Yea it'll just end and you won't be able to continue playing :( There might be a mod to retroactively change the state of the game rule for the end date, but I'm not too familiar with mods sorry :(
You made Guts from Berserk 130 times.

How is there a university in upland in 867? Am I missing something
There isn't, but you can do the activity at any Large Religious Center.
Thanks ericmyrs! Yup if you hover over the visit university choice on Uppland it's in the barony of sigtuna and it says 'Large Religious Center'. If you do build a university in the barony of Uppsala then when you select the visit university choice you'll actually see both the temple and the university being options to go to
