Haha a classic scene in CK3. You’ll also love when the notification from seducing your sister-daughter-granddaughter says “you’ve seduced empress freyja, a close relative, in accordance with societal norms.”
You earned yourself a sub. I did not see the Viking to Mongol strat coming 😂. Same goes for using sanctioned loopholes for a claim on the Byzantine empire. Well played sir. I also didn’t realize the teleporting ability of the Mongol special troops. I love the fact that you went for the Saoshyant and Chakravarti traits. Absolutely iconic. PS I love the nod to Uhtred of Bebbanburg
Thank you for all your kind words :) Yea mercenaries and special troops teleporting is just so strong and versatile, I've been abusing this since I noticed it. By default the Byzantine Empire title has primogeniture succession. Becoming Genghis Khan is the only decision (so far) that changes your law to something you probably don't have (high partition is available after 1050 only unless you have 'table of princes'). So I went from confederate paritition to high partition. When you destroy the Mongol Empire title your law changes to the default which normally would be confederate partition. But in this case, the Byzantine Empire's default law is primogeniture. This confederate->high parition->primogeniture will not work if you already have high partition researched and instead your law will remain high partition. The Byzantines always start with primogeniture but if you notice the law changing to confederate partition, it's because when you conquer or create the title you only get your realm's default (usually confederate) versus if you inherit the title you keep the primogeniture, or if you do it roundabout this genghis->byznatine way you force the code to default back to primo. I found this out simply because I did this run so many times I noticed this happening and have always enjoyed early primogeniture since.
I never post comments on youtube, but this deserves an algorithm boost. Awesome run, but what really stands out is your explaining of the various mechanics you are abusing. While longer that more popular challenge videos, it was much more easier to follow, and I learned stuff that I can apply in my own games.
What an incredible video BreadGod! You squeezed so much value out of every decision available and kept every minute of a 45 minute video informative and interesting. I don't know how you top this video - you have beaten CK3, and shown us all everything we need to do to follow your footsteps.
It's the best tutorial i've ever seen you explain every single part in detail perfectly, even if someone played the game for an hour, they'd understand everything
@@breadgodgaming i've got like 800h in ck3 and yet your tutorials i watch carefully, the sweet statistics, explanations and tricks, your videos are sweet
Wow, this gameplay reminds me of the movie 'The Man from Earth' where the protagonist reveals he has lived through countless eras and civilizations. Amazing to see such an epic journey from a Swedish baby to Viking, Genghis Khan, Byzantine Emperor, ruler of India and Persia, and finally restoring the Roman Empire. Truly legendary!
Great content, definitely you know the game mechanics very well, maybe the next video should be about all the tricks and tips you know and how to trigger the best events in the game.
I didn't even think of optimizing for the best events, do you have any examples? For me, one of the rare events I like is holding court and having the dog kennels for super long life. I never got it in this run but managed to live to 126 anyways

Great video! Very fun to watch, love how you lay out your decisions and goals beforehand makes it easier to follow. Great empire, now start as a count and destroy it from the inside out. >:)
I love the detail that goes into planning all the long-term shenanigans in a playthrough like this. I've done some detail-oriented stuff in speedrunning (not CK, but more than one RPG), so I understand the level of planning to at least some degree, as well. Love it!
Thank you for the kind words! I've done this run a lot, but because I had to write out a script / make this video flow better, I actually was able to learn some new things and polished my run even more than before :)

Well, I’ve been looking to try something like this for the new patch. Thanks for sharing this, I’m definitely going to jump off this and your previous guides.
Thank you! I actually christen every new patch with this exact run to see how far / easy it is to do roman empire / world conquest. I used to resist the urge to restore the empire...but now I just give in and every run will eventually restore Rome haha
I have been playing ck3 since launch, watching on youtube, I have over 300 hours on the game, I learnt so much during this video, probably the best CK3 Video I have ever seen. seriously good work. I'd love to see you do this as a count in the AGOT Mod.
Awesome video! I would watch an entire play thru so you can better explain why you do certain things in a specific order. This is a great overview but very dense with info. I've probably put in 30 or so hours trying to follow this formula but have had several attempts fall short due to random events or doing something in the wrong order. But none the less this has been an eye opening experience. And I thought I was pretty good at this game but now realize how woefully inadequate my knowledge of so many of the mechanics of the game can work together. Thanks for posting!
Thank you for the kind words! Any specific questions you have for me? This run is like my 30th run so I've had a lot of practice, I'm pretty sure my first few runs I only got like half the world. Also any wasted downtime means less chance I will conquer the entire world before I die so I have to be super focused the entire time. Also, I take breaks from the conquest part since it does get a little tedious conquering nonstop.
@@breadgodgaming Do you have a guide to encourage certain traits over others? I used to think it was primarily your educator who has best chance of giving their traits but I have had games where my traits seemed to be very random. Trying this run through I found I was crippled by compassion trait one time. I try to get sadistic since it is a great stress reliever.
Like a guide on educating wards? Personality traits feel almost completely random. Wards & Warden DLC however can make at least 2 of 3 traits permanently passed on via the influence ward interaction, which is kind of pay2win/OP. I haven't researched enough for the new education system, but I'll add that to the list of things. If it's about a little tier list / guide on personality traits I can add that instead/as well.
I was asking from the prospective of starting as a baby. Getting some traits can really make a run more difficult than other times. What would be a good way to increase the odds of picking up a trait you like. I always thought it was your guardian that had the most influence but I’ve had a lot more randomness with the new dlc’s. Events generated from others in your court like the regent or wet nurse or the clergy. Just wondering. Something I’m trying to monitor to get better at encouraging the trait I want.
@@michaeloakley696 Ah then I actually don’t have any tips for traits as a baby, I don’t have any good data on how those personality traits pop up. My experience has been very similar to yours in the randomness. Otherwise, I usually select for the guardian who primarily won’t murder and secondly will most likely give me the best education. I haven’t found any updated data on education since they changed how it is calculated apparently, but I can’t imagine it being drastically different than the old version.
since you asked for tips, i'd recommend raising your volume using a compressor or limiter. your voice was pretty quiet throughout the whole video. i watched it all the way through and really enjoyed it!
Thank you for the feedback! I truly value it. I just got a new dynamic mic to record my voice so hopefully less static noises. I use audacity to edit the audio, but I'm not super experienced. I normally put my audio through: 1) noise removal 2) compressor 3) normalize. My problem also is I have tinnitus so I realize sometimes I can't even tell if the ringing is still there and I have to ask someone else listen to the audio. For the compressor the settings I have are threshold 14db, floor 40db, ratio 4:1, attack and release are at minimums. compressed based on peaks, no makeup gain. Any recommendations? Thank you for the feedback already and thanks for
The fact you did the most impossible thing I can think of (take over the whole world and make it a stable empire, but like in one lifetime) and you phrased it like a tutorial, well I’m speechless

I didn't know about the grand marriages giving lifestyle exp, I will have to play with that more! I definitely should go to point of interest more often for the lifestyle exp, that's a good point maybe I could use this to speed up my runs. Thanks for the tips!
Along the lines of these tips: Going to University can increase your learning level, and earn you up to 3 learning perks. Going on a grand tour can earn you a good amount of prestige, renown, and cultural acceptance. So if you conquered 15 vassels in the Buryat area and then did a Grand Tour you'd probably have enough acceptance to hybridize rather than adopt local culture. Then you could keep longboats and varangian adventure techs.
@@Masochisto great suggestions! I only hybridize buryat if I get there under 40 years of age, otherwise I may not have enough time to hybrid with Greek / Italian to capture all the innovation progress. unbelievably impressive, quality editing. my only suggestion would be to slow down ever so slightly and put a bit more explanation into the rationale as to why you chose/did a few more advanced things. I have 2k hours over ck2/ck3 and even i was a little confused by a few decisions. great stuff man🤯
Man when you gave that advice regarding attrition I had to learn that the hard way. Got wrecked by England and lost 5000 troops in my 10k army because I didn't realize attrition can be real bad for hostile counties lol
Oof yea attrition is crazy because it's 5% per county that you cross over with a minimum of 100 men...so if you're not closely watching where the movement is you can easily lose 20-25% of your men just by moving into place

Great video, enjoyable to watch!! Make more videos like that (Tall plays). On side you can release the full play-through as a playlist.
Thank you! It's on my radar to think about full playthroughs but there's a lot to be made so will take some time!
Bro I love this game so much and this Video is such an enjoyment to watch and i love this!!!
Thank your for your kind words!!
Worth every last minute😌
Thank you for the kind words :)
Nice video. Pretty crazy how far you can go.
Thank you for your kind words!
You might the best ck3 youtuber in regards to ability. Would be awesome to see you agaisnt Zieley, who is also a very good player
Thank you so much for your compliment and support! That is a high honor, I'm a big fan of his channel as well!
Amazing!! I'm so impressed 😮 great video!!
Thank you for your kind words!
That’s actually crazy. Holy cow.
Thank you for your kind words and support!
Use the character finder and filter for unlanded, adult males, sorted by prowess to find the best possible knights.
You got a subscribe from me! Loved the editing too! Awesome video thanks for sharing all the information❤
Thank you for your kind words and support! I'm glad you enjoyed the editing :)
Id love to see this world in a thousand years. What wonders would be created and heights achieved. How fast would science and society evolve.
As long as there is no warp :)
This is a work of art
Thank you!
This video earned you a new sub!
Thank you for your kind words and support!
Amazing video, you combine incredible gameplay with informative commentary and it’s a joy to watch. I learn something from you every time even though I consider myself pretty good (two world conquests.) Could you please do one of my favorite runs, world conquest as persia with antagonistic house unity (infinite kingdom wars)? Thanks!
Thank you for your kind words! I will add that to the list of videos!
you are an absolute chad bro
Thank you!
Great video amazing editing and explaining keep it up
Thank you for your kind words and support!
Bro when I see the title of you're video I thought it's fake , but I am proud 😂🎉
This is absolutely amazing. I'm very interested to see what shenanigans you can get up to once they introduce landless rulers and administrative governments.
Thank you for your kind words! I've been researching on conqueror mechanics to see if I can get it early haha
Perfect playthrough.
Thank your for your kind words :)
I rarely say this about ck3 players.
you're pretty good
Thank you for your kind words!
This is absolutely nutty. I think my fastest world conquest took me into the 1200s lol
Thank you for your kind words. Ever since I browsed the 'decision' page on CK3 wiki and realized you could become Genghis Khan yourself, almost every run has me calling the Great Kurultáj
That was an insane feat!
Thank you!

haha sorry if only I had a few more years maybe I could've used legitimizing legend to incorporate the rest of Iberia!
unbelievably impressive, quality editing. my only suggestion would be to slow down ever so slightly and put a bit more explanation into the rationale as to why you chose/did a few more advanced things. I have 2k hours over ck2/ck3 and even i was a little confused by a few decisions.
great stuff man🤯
Thank you for the kind words and feedback! Sometimes I try to condense things too much, but I will keep in mind to prioritize understanding and flow!
Damn, this was impressive!
Thank you!
bro made me looks like a monkey trying to play CK. Wonderful content and skill my guy
Thank you for your kind words!
"but sir, another vassal would cause a revolution!"
" *bearskin* "
"ok"
Amazing Video, thanks for explaining the mechanics :)
Thank you!
Professional ck3 enjoyer
Thank you for your kind words!
Amazing content!
Thank you!
well i will never have a ck3 playthrough feel adequate again lmao
Verry cool video, you really are a goos bread, subscribed
Thanks for the kind words and support!
I am in awe.
Thank you for your kind words!
Hah is your characters name and looks a reference to the last kingdom?
