Nice video dude, amateur AOE2 player here. Nice to see a video that isn't moving a hundred miles an hour, makes it easier to pick up tricks. Look forward to seeing more
Thank you, Jerimiah! I definitely wanted to use CaptureAge's perspective for most of the UA-cam stuff...I agree that first person AoE2 is very clicky and can be hard to watch.
Why do you think green didn't just go full castle rams (like 8 of them)? It seemed like that combined with garrisioned rattans would've been better than the slow treb push? Nice play with the walls, I never wouldve thought to do something like that with all that pressure
I think he was probably expecting a little bit less resistance from me and that if they did their strat properly he can GG me without significant investment. blue delaying himself and me by feudal rushing me should mean green can add TCs and wipe me, but didn't quite play out for them.
TBH he might just have been making suboptimal decisions. I agree with you completely that if he kind of pushed from the edges instead of rolling into the middle it would have bee a lot easier.

@@VarrusAOE That makes sense, he underestimated the tower spam 11
Yes
13:45 Why is red pushing the middle tower in range of all the other towers instead of starting from the north?
