Dont spray your brakepads / disc with any kind of WD...there are brake cleaners for that.
I am a mechanic and my heart burned when he was telling to spray on the disk😭
DO NOT SPRAY YOUR BREAK DISKS. DO NOT.
Why
Thanks for the tip. Worked like a charm
Dude, did you really just recommend that people spray wd40 on their brake rotors!
the springs and suspension not the rotors
@@AlexTV1000 I was about to post a comment not agreeing with WD40 on a disk rotor and why it's a terrible idea at 1:58 But after doing a quick search it's not a terrible idea for the rotor specifically. However there are brake disk cleaner for that or for the brake pads and that is what ideally everyone should be using if possible. The right tool for the right job as they say. I ride a Vsett 11+ at pretty high speeds on the main roads (car speeds) and low speeds in chill streets all the time and i don't think i would use WD 40 on the rotor. But if it dries effectively well then i suppose it's fine. I think the main issue is the brake pads. If that gets any sort of oil it's going to cause problems when it rubs with the rotor. Not 100% on board with this method but if that was the next best thing then sure WD40 used in the video is an option. I don't have that squeaking issue btw. Not sure how you guys get it. Also i have hydraulic Nutt brakes.
Nice wheel nut cover where did you get it and what's the name?
Works great for rear suspension the crackling is gone now! Used normal WD 40, depend on how long it last but it’s easy to add more later.
worked for me and solved all the squeaking noises thank you
however im trying to solve the creaking in the stem but it might need a spacer tbh
Also, do you know where i can buy those offroad tires for the vdm-10 / apollo ghost 2022 model
yes on amazon, they are RARELY EVER in stock, i bought the last 2 last time, i’ll link it in the description right now, but once you see them in stock, buy them right away, they alway sell out
@@AlexTV1000 thank you
where did you get those blue bolt caps at the side of your wheels
amazon
Hey what are those blue knobs on the side of wheels .. i like.. great video btw
Fall Protection Silders, it’s so if the scooter ever falls on its side, it won’t even get a single scratch
@@AlexTV1000 oh thanks brother!.. where you get them ? Amozon? . Cheers
@@BYRONCASTILLO1 yes
Where'd you get your front mud guard?
it came with the scooter
I have a mantis and my back suspension is insanely squeaky. Sprayed with normal wd40 and nothing changed . I don’t know what to do at this point
make sure you spray the springs, all the layers. Also the connections between the suspension and the scooter body, thats where most people forget to check.
I have a king gt and my noise was coming from the bolt that secures that front suspension. Bust that bolt out and grease it, but it back in and that should help
Is white lithium grease ok ? Please reply lol
Yes, should be fine?
If it has rubber bushings use silicone. Lithium is petroleum based and will slowly eat away plastic/rubber
dont put grease on your brake rotor ... the rest is ok ... brakes stop you and cant if they are greasy... clean your brakes use brake clean or alcohol as it evaporates
Can I use regular wd 40
yes
No! Regular WD-40 is a temporary fix and will dry out very quickly. Use white lithium grease version of WD.
Why is the front mud guard on the wrong side of the tire? lol
that’s the correct side.
@@AlexTV1000 mud flaps are always behind the tire bcs that's the wheel spins forward. Ever see a mud flap on the front in a car? Dude, it's the wrong side lol
Check how they sell it 😹😹😹, its apart of the design
@@AlexTV1000 I figured they did this bcs it does look cool. But as for water protection, it needs to be on the other side. Don't your knees get wet when you go through a puddle? I mean you must be getting wet at the front. Haven't you noticed? Just asking lol
no not at all
WD at brakes? don't do that if you don't want ur brakes accelerate instead of braking lol
hi! can u please check ur discord or email I asked u something about the kugoo kirin m4 pro.
