Ditatch the stator from the moving case and clean and sand that area thrughly, and make sure there is no lose magnets, is yes, try to glue them back, and close everything again and test
Have you checked bearings if you have a dodgy one it can make that noise. I've got same motor 750wat but not that make I think it's a cheap one came with fat tyre bike can I ask you how many magnets has this motor got. Mine is new it for setting in display thanks
That bit of metal is to locate the gears that's what's causing clunk the pin looks worn. If you took them gears of the first time you shoud gave seen that pin if you put the gears back with pin I different place that's your problem. If the pin is knackered you can buy one make one with a nail and file it down. It works a treat. Are you sure that 750wat hub mot does 40mph that's load underload that means that motor does 54moh no way then is your weight on bike. I've got 2000wat 45amp cinntoller 52v 20amp battery and I just get 40mph but I can do 30mph in four seconds no way 750wat dis 40mph when your on the bike unless your 2stone
i got a brand new q20 ebike with this motor, not even 10 hours on it i noticed odd sound from the motor and all the magnets were loose so i popped each one applied jbweld and it was a lot better but sadly i chipped a magnet and now it sounds like static under high torque loads
Im sure you figured out the problem but im sure the bearings in the gears were damaged! And that piece goes in the little key hole ring where the gears are.
If i have a regular hub motor without gears on my scooter and it make those noises, what could it be?! As i got the scooter (2nd hand, 3 years old) it was fine. Now it make strange sounds as well i lost about 3-4 km/h topspeed (from max. 40-43km/h down to maximum 40 at best) I hit some nasty potholes with this rear motor while removing some load from the front (which is prone to completely hit the stopper in the suspension) I tuned the suspension a bit with harder springs to drive as "meant to be" with load on front/rear about 50/50, but i guess the damage is done now? It really doesnt matter much, this scooter costed me like 200$ just to get into e-scooter driving before i buy a 60 km/h + model, but its still annoying since this scooter might be a nice spare/2nd scooter for other purposes if its reasonable undamaged to drive.
ordinary direct drive scooter hubs are the same but without the gears, probably magnet come loose or slightly bent spindle, I cured my bent spindle with a hammer in a recent vid.
High it's out of balance the motor. Normaly in motor you will see deep scribe marks that's done at factory to balance motor up to. When they check some are OK others have slight like when you use a chisel on wood and put a grove in. Yes how many magnets does this motor have. I'm used to 2000wat and 3000wat motors
So what was the issue and how did you fix it and you didn't even go over that part next thing you know the motor is back together and you're putting it on your bike
I hope you don't mind that's not 4mph yes that pin goes in slot when installing motor. If you ever take magnet of keep them at the same poles north and south. If you gave loose magnets best to take all them off the clean motor inside and back of magnets. Dont use proper adhesive use liquid nails is great and heat proof but smear a very thin layer on motor and magnet leave for 24 hours. Buy writes if motor is old your serpose to paint magnets with blush varnish leave till hard then brake a hacksaw blade and sharping till blade cut your finger buy a slight push just kidding then scrap varnish of by doing that it cleans the grove lines in magnet and make motor strong torge new bearing and clutch and you have a brand new motor don't forget the pin for motor. I'm a electric engineer I'm 75yrs old and i love ebikes bugger the speed law I've been out on my 2000wat next to police car done nothing. It the pit bikes that get there atension the bomber bike I've had them all and sold them you shoud try 8000wat 72v 79mph person but 2000wat ebike is the best the way I've done mine people say its a beast good luck with your 750wat like them inserts for puncher I've bought 750wat Fat Tyre bike amazon ice upgraded the seat so I can oed the dam thing I get 45mph on the stand 34 to 36mph not 40mph
@@chargeriderepeat7024 because of this whine i got a non-geared hub motor model. Yes, i miss torque quiet much even compared to slow but expensive premium scooters with 350W-700W geared hub motors, but in the end i prefer the better top speed of easily 35 km/h, more like 40-45 and im looking towards dual motor scooters with 2x1200W at least, better 2x2000W and 60km/h+ This regular hub motor also has no problem with lets say 20% incline to go somewhat reasonable fast, just 25% are getting somewhat slow, especially if i fall under 20 km/h you can literally feel how the motor doesnt really accept this load. If i need longer than about 4-5 minutes that steep uphill, the LCD unit shows me a motor overheat symbol and throttles down even further, with luck i have like 700-800W left (power draw on battery, so the power on the motor is even less...)
@@chargeriderepeat7024shop that selling bafang motors said that versions with plastic gears were made for europe market 25km/h speed and there is guide what torch and voltages it supports.but then people started unblocking them to get "free speed"...
I have heard people say that hub motors overheat a lot and the hall sensors fail ( johhny nerd out channel says that ), but I didn't have that problem yet. Cable did get a bit eaten into one one of them, not all have the protective metal spring sheath. Would have thought your spokes or wheel would break before anything in the motor would bend, but with a fat tyre bike the axle is wider ? did it cause a pinch flat ? on my new one I have a problem where the speed and power reads 0, thats on the sabvaton controller, maybe a problem with the communication between display and main circuitboard ? hall sensors must be fine if it passed the hall test and works normally ?
The bafang has a white wire to a speed hall sensor, never connected it, never had anything that would read it, not bothered with a speedo tbh, I just point and go😎 Looking at the vid there may be a problem with the coil casting on the spindle, that movement cant be good. Might pull it apart.
I love your bare cable joints so close to each other
....
you have unbalance rim you need to re allign or do truing
If your motor can endure that, mine should last forever😊
Ditatch the stator from the moving case and clean and sand that area thrughly, and make sure there is no lose magnets, is yes, try to glue them back, and close everything again and test
Interesting. Sometimes the magnets come loose. Retire it.
I wanna add bafang to mtb with thru axle. They do H800 which has two speed
I did fix it with a hammer and put it on my bmx, but it soon started making the noise again...retired it.

All trued up and powering my ebmx

I actually repaired it in a recent video by whacking it with a large hammer, it now powers my electric BMX.

2:03 that thing is the key for the clutch , is what they call it i think. You want to keep that Lol
Ha, better check that.
Its called woodruff key
Sounded like the magnets came up, they need pushing back down

You're a genius. Tks
it's the wobbler in the wheel that makes that noise because the wheel is not true. i had it on mine also
No, it was making that noise even without the rim on.
I have a question, my e-bike is single gear . Can I add additional gears on the rear wheel?
These are the gears my friend
Sometimes the magents come lose…. Check if their stuck on properly…. Better off with a sur Ron really…. That’s more off road
yes..but.
The Surron is the local drug dealers weapon of choice, I like to stealth.
the wheel is way out of true you probably need to re lace the wheel and re true it.
yeah, its not finished yet.
More botching from me.

wow big wobble in that wheel, or did you not tighten the spokes yet ?
hasn't finished trying wheel, I fixed it with a hammer, but its making the noise again, see my latest vid

what reason why my hub run 52 kph now it stock in 25kph..

Its not the Woodruff key, it was the rivet head of one of the clutches I tried out, must have been sitting there for some time 😳
the magnets are loose, glue them
yes it could be that.
For US $30. you can buy METAL replacement gears there are much more reliable.
