I did cover one in this video but had to remove it due to copywrite issues. I honestly want to cover more of their stuff but every time it seems like it'll get flagged. Some songs would just demonetize the video which is fine, but others I cannot use at all 😂
Thanks for the question. The course doesn't cover rhythm patterns. The only place I really touch on that is in the Math Rock Essentials guide in the commonly used strumming patterns section in 4/4, 3/4, and 5/8 time.
Can you do a video on recording? It could be just like a section of a song rhythm and lead guitar and just show how you go about it and talk about making sure everything's in tune and what not
tbh as a drummer i can't understand why you call it 1 2 patterns? can you elaborate. its more of a 2 - 3 pattern isn't it? (16th notes or 32nd notes tho)
The clicking my teeth to rhythms is actually so real and probably so bad for my teeth hahah
Yeah I get headaches from it so I try not to if I can help it
Nice JazzMaster you got here.
Please more tricot Rhythms i think they are one of the most fun to learn

@@LetsTalkAboutMathRock If its only a patreon video i will gladly renew my sub on it just to learn more of their songs
@@LetsTalkAboutMathRock awh dang lol I wrote a post like last month asking you to play more of their stuff, that's too bad, thanks for trying!
The song 'Mountains' by your band also incorporates that 5 time rhythm at the very end of the song. Really cool
Not the video topic but I was curious on your thoughts on the band Maps and Atlases.
Really getting into them
Hi Steve, just wondering if rhythm patterns are covered in your FAGCE course?

@ oh thanks Steve, will take a look actually have it at hand. What about picking patterns? Is it by any chance also covered in your material?
Steve could you do a video about dissonance and talk about the more screamo/hardcore side of math guitar? Thinking like calculator and kid crash

It's just literally the number of strums
Bum bum. Bum bum bum bum
1 2 1 2 1 2
He's just making it really easy to understand
Thanks for clarifying!
I'd never heard of Blakfish before. I will definitely be checking them out.
Had the same thought, would love to see Steve make a list of lesser known bands to check out.
Blakfish are excellent!
Man I wish you were my IRL teacher. You and Trevor Wong taught me more in videos than I ever learned before 😭🥹
