Really nice and straight to the point, i wanna try out some of these after watching the vid. Just wanted to say that i absolutely love your channel man, it was one of the major reasons i decided to get an electric after i fell in love with the math rock and midwest emo genres thanks to you, all your tutorials about riff writing, chord progressions and alternate tunings have been incredibly helpful and i feel like they helped me grow as a guitarist. Thank you so much for all your amazing work🎸❤
Would love to see Standards, Explosions In The Sky, Colour/Tangled Hair. Nao is My Driver is the song that got my girlfriend liking math rock. Before that, she was saying "it's like each instrument is playing it's own song and no one can hear what anyone else is playing" And now she's like "IM SO SORRY IM NOT DOWN TONIGHT BUT ALL MY FRIENDS HAVE LOST THEIR MINDS" at the top of her lungs. Thanks Steve
Oooh and Covet "Parachute" would be cool, I'd love to see a step by step if you are into doing song breakdowns. Yvette Young has a bedroom video of thr song done acoustic. I know she plays the song at 448hz and I'd love to see you explain the different elements to this great song. Mountains gonna do some covers soon? I would nominate this song if you do. A math rock covers album from you guys would be cool
Came for the riffs but just got flexed on by the number of nice guitars I'll never own. 😭
