    Replacement Bumpstops: amzn.to/3l8xHhz

    Rear Shock Extensions: amzn.to/3j4d5VW
    Clayton Offroad Coil Springs: www.claytonoff...
Its time to upgrade to some 37s!!!!
Ive been running 35" tires on my Jeep Wrangler LJ for a while now.. And they have done amazing.
But it was time to step it up a notch. Most of you know that ive been building the Jeep up with some good offroad upgrades. The axles have been swapped out for JK rubicon Dana 44 axles, specifically a Dynatrac Prorock 44 up front with 5.13s and RCV shafts. In the rear, a JK rubicon 44 with chromoly axle shafts as well as 5.13 gears. I also upgraded the control arms and steering during the swap. If your interested in those videos then be sure to check them out!!
So, the Jeep is strong enough for 37" tires... But not exactly ready to fit the larger tires.
I decided to get a set of Clayton Offroad rear 4" springs to help out. The springs are great quality and ride amazing so far, plus i have plenty of clearance for the larger tires now.
I cant wait to share my thoughts of these Atturo tires with you guys soon. Of course i want to show you how they work, how they perform in various situations, and then of course the road noise and tread life. So far, they look pretty promising for a budget friendly tire. My main goal was to try something new, and share my experiences with you guys.
Im also excited to see how well the Jeep wrangler can handle these larger tires. Mostly in regards to MPG, acceleration, braking, and overall performace.
Like always, Thanks for watching and i will see you all soon!

you should bolt a tag/bridge,top /bottom of spring,so your not relying on the shock to hold the diff weight. shocks get ripped out because of it..did you measure the height before you fitted tires,to garage door, ive raised my outside mobile garage, 3 times..

I know everyone wants 40s, and 37‘s are a weird in between size - too big for 44s and two small for 60s, that’s what I hear all the time - but to me 37‘s look perfect on an LJ - perfect size tire for that wheelbase.

  • @shadow9600

Good tire, I ran it on my LJR for a while. Great road life, road noise is not bad at all, and they balanced great. In fact, with Black Rhino Crawler beadlocks I didn't balance them at all and they still rode very smooth at 70mph. No problems at all in the mud, but I did have some slippage in rocky hill climbs that I felt it shouldn't have had. That was really before I had them broken in good though, so might have been part of the problem there. They have a VERY stiff sidewall and I ran them at pretty low psi with the beadlocks (the sidewalls made install a bit of a pain!). Overall though I think they are a good tire and something I'm considering as I work up to 40's. Currently running 37" Yoko X-MT's, in part because of your JKU. :)

Like what you have done. I have a 2009 rubicon with 35s and actually thinking of downsizing to 33s. I have the stock Jeep engine and gearing. Its a pain going up mountains. I live in Northern Ca about 90 min from Tahoe. would like a recommendation or comment of down sizing tires and to ATs vs Mud or to spend the cash to change the gear ratio...and what ratio should I be doing. I really feel like my rig struggles going uphill with the stock engine and 35 in mid tires.

Gears!! It makes the world of a difference.
      Keep the 35s..
5.13s if you have the 3.8 with auto
4.88 if you have the 3.8 and manual.

Cassie did the tire shop balance your 37’s with beads or weights?

Ok, I admit I say this with almost every tire "upgrade". Get your speedometer calibrated for the new tire size!

So I have a 96 chevy blazer 2wd in 321150 falkens if I replace my coil springs I can get little bigger tires. I'm wanting to go 33s so I wouldn't need a lift primer say

So, on your blazer it will be a little different. Something like this would give you a little more height for 33s, but I’m not sure if this kit works with 2wd. You’d have to research a little to see if it’ll fit.

How much do the new tire combo weight? I only got 33s and it weights 94 lbs, always a work out to get them rotated.
