The members at this point of time: Adam Rupp (guy on the right in the back): Beatboxer and provider of many sound effects. He's a true master of his art. Austin Brown (guy in the middle): high tenor, lots of country twang if he wants to, has a beautiful lower register, too. Also a songwriter. Ron Lundquist (beard and glasses): second tenor, occasional baritone. Has a bit of opera training. Adam Chance (guy in the back on the left): baritone and secondary bass. Has a 4 octave range. Very smooth. Tim Foust (on the right): main bass (and a low bass singer at that, can go a lot deeper than in this one). Has a 5 octave range and can do (and does) baritone and high tenor as well. And a songwriter as well. They've had 2 changes of members: Chris Rupp (Not in this one, wears usually a cowboy hat or cap), baritone, left in 2016. Adam Chance then joined Home Free. Austin Brown left this June and they gained a new member in Adam Bell-Bastien (called Bastien, pronounced Basteen). As of now there's only one song with him (the newest one). The other two are VoicePlay (Theatrical) and Pentatonix (Pop & Christmas).These bands each have a rhythm section composed of a bass singer and a beatboxer. This provides the foundation that supports the main vocalists. Two other good a cappella groups are the Bass Gang (all bass singers) and Voctave (Disney oriented). Recommend Pentatonix’s cover of The Prayer.
This song is well over 100 years old. It is sad indeed, its about a guy who has been in trouble a lot in his life but now, he is in so much trouble that he has to sneak out of his home of Kentucky on a train and go north. He is essentially saying he will not be able to see any of his friends, family or loves again until he and them are in Heaven.

The only solo Acapella singer I can think of is Peter Hollens. He actually collaborates quite often with Home Free's bass, Tim Foust, because they used to be in an Acapella group together 15 or so years ago. He has also collabed with the entire Home Free group on a couple of occasions. Peter is an interesting artist because he sings all the parts himself and then layers them where it almost sounds like an entire group performing.
Geoff Castellucci, the bass singer of the Acappella group Voiceplay also does this cover solo. He uses instruments because he's by himself. He also displays great harmonies with himself, showing off his goal range. If you haven't listened to the theater kids of Acappella (Voiceplay), you should ASAP. Good luck and thanks.

I think that lead singer, Austin (Tenor 1 wearing cowboy hat) left Home Free. Correct me if I am wrong. Home Free fans are known as Home Fries. There is a video of Home Free singing with their mentors, original Country-Pella, The Oak Ridge Boys on Boys' famous song, Elvira.
For a taste of their fun side, and more of Austin's yodel voice, I would recommend their cover of "All About That Bass". If you haven't already, I would recommend checking out Voiceplay. Their bass singer, Geoff Castellucci, has an inhuman range. With Halloween coming up, try their cover of "Oogie Boogie's Song" from "Nightmare Before Christmas".

To me the song is nothing without great words that make you feel it so here is just a few. Boston, this band was really big in the 70's but they Rocked the world with music that will blow you away. Besides Home Free, there are other Acapella groups as talent as them such as their friends, Voiceplay and Pentatonix. I think that lead singer, Austin (Tenor 1 wearing cowboy hat) left Home Free. Correct me if I am wrong. Home Free fans are known as Home Fries. There is a video of Home Free singing with their mentors, original Country-Pella, The Oak Ridge Boys on Boys' famous song, Elvira.
For a taste of their fun side, and more of Austin's yodel voice, I would recommend their cover of "All About That Bass". If you haven't already, I would recommend checking out Voiceplay. Their bass singer, Geoff Castellucci, has an inhuman range. With Halloween coming up, try their cover of "Oogie Boogie's Song" from "Nightmare Before Christmas".

Tim Foust, the bass, has a very low speaking voice as well. Check out "O Holy Night", "Between a Rock and a Heartache" and "How Great Thou Art". They have great harmony. Austin Brown has since left the group.

If you like the low voices, you really should check out the Acapella group, VoicepPlay. Their bass singer, Geoff Castelucci, is the lowest, smoothest bass you will ever hear. Check out their covers of Hoist The Colours and Metallica's Nothing Else Matters. I promise you won't regret taking the time to check them out.

Seriously if you are interested just search Home Free, find a song of a genre you like and you will not be disappointed. They won the Sing Off in 2013. This is a deep rabbit hole worth investigating. Not suggesting you react to every song. You will find they tailor the songs to the best voice of the group that matches . Quite a few genres listed above to provide a cross section. OK, I've checked your library of reactions and I can see you really haven't even touched to music world much in your reations so please allow this old man to give you just a few suggestions. I may be 66 years old but i know music better than most and that isn't bragging I've just either listened or played music all my life so i know a lot of what i call great sounds. To me the song is nothing without great words that make you feel it so here is just a few. Boston, this band was really big in the 70's but they Rocked the world with music that will blow you away. The song is " Foreplay/Longtime by Boston. Just to let you see i love all kinds of music here is a band you really need to hear, they are called LILIAC, their music is VampMetal and they do covers a lot so the first song should be "Holy Diver. Put your seat belts on and enjoy these two.
