The guys chose to sing this in its original key as sung by Cam, a female country singer. Just proves their lack of having a female in the group is no detriment--they just let their profundo BASS handle it! 🤣
LOVE the versatility of our amazingly talented fellas!! 🥰. (The addition of Chance and his lower range to the group has freed Tim up to showcase his amazing 5-octave range a lot more!) Every member of Home Free could absolutely be a solo ⭐ star ⭐ but their harmonies together are MAGIC!! ❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️

Austin's voice seems 'softer' somehow in this song's chorus. It really gives a bit of vulnerability and delicateness that is complimented very well by Tim's higher register and Rob's smooth tone. Home Free will never sound the same without his emotional stunning high tenor voice, let alone someone as charismatic with such a bright personality.
My second Home Free concert is tonight, can't wait for it.

Our boy Chance sings the bass line through the whole song on this one besides the deep solo, Tim sings up with the tenors through the song.
Oh I love that. They’re all so talented in so many ways, having switch ups like this gets to show us that they’re all so so so skilled.
It takes time to appreciate this performance fully. The song is excellent...and a good fit for HF. Since you listened to your subs and Patrons, you already knew the guys and their voices. That makes Tim's surprise move from basso profondo to tenor exciting...and you know you're in for something very special. Then you're flooded with rich, beautiful harmonies. Adam's percussion is perfect, but good things are happening so fast that you miss the fact that Chance is carrying the bass line. HF delivers a wonderful product, but the final enjoyment comes when you listen to Cam's original ( ua-cam.com/video/eRrCMEXPjWo/v-deo.html ) and realize that HF performed the song in exactly the same key as Cam. (They did the same thing with "Crazy" and matched Patsy Cliine.)
One of my favorites. Most reactors are blown away with the vocal switch-up; you were (rightly) blown away by the incredible vocals. Reacting to The Sing-Off would be good. Doing the double reactions (SO vs current versions) will really show how good HF was 10 yrs ago and how much growth and maturity they've experienced in those 10 years. On the other hand, listening to the Sing-Off's judges' comments after each performance is quite interesting.
I also enjoyed the judges commentary,except when they said that Rob was pitch was off. I’ve went over that so many times it’s crazy. But I don’t hear 👂 it. Tbh Rob has the best voice of all of them. That man can sing anything. Thank you for such great reaction. Oh and please don’t get me wrong I love all of them. And Adam Rupp is in a class all by himself and you will see that in the sing off against another beat boxer. He just took the other guy to school. lol 😂
I really enjoyed this reaction - made me smile knowing that someone else "gets it" the same way I do. Every time you were trying to find the words to describe how the performance made you feel I was thinking, "Yes!! Exactly!"

Yes to the sing off
Cargo ship rammed a bridge in Baltimore and brought down a bridge. They had lost power and was able to issue a Mayday warning to stop traffic on the bridge. Appropriate day to do Mayday!
There may be no other Home Free song where the guys switch it up so much. Tim went way high, Chance went way low, and then the tune just carries you away, because that’s what good music does.

Love your reactions. I keep following for Home Free. This song was originally written and performed by a female country singer, Cam. They sing it in the same key that she sang it in, including Tim. I like you expressing the feelings you get from their voices as colors. As an artist and painter I can relate to that. Looking forward to your next exciting experience with Home Free. Yes do watch the Sing Off performances and their updated releases of their Sing Off performances to see where they bean and how far they have progressed. Two of my favorites would be Colder Weather and Stand By Me. I'm sure it will be exciting.

I like Tenor Tim almost as much as I like Bass Tim.

Great reaction! This song is one of my favorites. So glad you waited to react to it. Your surprise at hearing the switch ups in the voices was great. Tim can sing in a beautiful higher tenor voice along with Austin & Rob. And Chance can hit the lower bass notes when needed. And Adam did a fabulous job as always with his vocal percussion. This song is sung by a woman Cam, so they sung it in a higher key to match the original.
Home Free likes to keep use on our toes. This song comes under the topic, Expect the unexpected. Also don't assume when bass is beard, Tim is singing. In this song Chance is singing bass throughout the song.

YES, you seriously need to do the sing-off performances, but please, I beg you, don't do the compilation video where they are all in one, you need to listen to them individually, and with the judges comments. Some times what the judges say about our boys is just as good and important as the songs are. And do them in chronological order, please. You will love this journey!

I get your connection to color. I see words and sentences as colors, even letters, numbers, names and sounds. I thought that was normal, but friends and family are intrigued. Like a party trick, they will ask me to say what color "*****" is, and I tell them, but they can't comprehend why it is, and I can't explain it.

G'day, Alison. Sending affection from Florida, USA. Allow me to react to your reaction. I think of all the people doing reactions, you are one of the most "female" (huge compliment). Your reactions are usually less linear than a man's would be, as in this one where you paused and backtracked so often. You allow your emotions free rein more than the typical man, or even many women, and you are so empathic you could hear the colors they were singing! You also don't need subtitles to feel exactly the message the singer is trying to convey in a foreign language.

I definitely won’t let a lack of lyrics or subtitles or translation stop me appreciating the music. In a sense I feel like it gives me the chance to explore the music and search for the meaning and feelings without having the clue of the lyrics of that makes sense?
I’m just so taken by each aspect. I feel so lucky to be able to experience music in the way I do (realising how unique my experiences are) - but I if I can that, even if my explanation is a little left of field, I’ll try my darnedest!

It is meant for livestock. So women having one are telling those who know what that is, that they want to be a farm animal.

I mean humans have had piercings and facial piercings for about 12,000 years - so I’d say a few thousand years longer than the hog ring, haha
In many cultures it represents adulthood, connection/communication to the divine or one’s higher self - I got my facial piercings in India when I was there for several months - and was told the cultural specifics of each of them - and most people I know have asked me after a few years of knowing me if I recently had the septum done because it’s generally pretty unnoticeable to people I know.
So I guess if you’re LOOKING for it on people as a hog ring you’ll find it.
