Yeahhh I’ll choose this over its competitors any day (i.e., Genesis GV70/80, Lexus RX series, and the Germans). You can get a fully loaded one that still costs less than those. Most of the amenities like the 10.3 infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, and 19 inch wheels come as standard. Also not to mention that famous Honda reliability and the amount of cabin space you get with this vehicle.
Excellent video! Just what I wanted to see.....a nighttime test drive version. This gives me a better aspect of the ambient lighting and general interior lighting. I am so considering the '22 Advance model. Acuras are nice premium cars. Thank you for posting this.
Love the night drive videos. We've opted for the Advance package rather than A-spec primarily because of the red instrumentation and its harness on the eyes. I wish you'd show the Nav system when driving or more from Apple CarPlay rather than just the unit's home screen. Otherwise, these are awesome and helped us make our ultimate selection!
Drove both this and the Genesis GV70. Honestly, cannot go wrong with either one. The very minimal differences I could find are as follows: RDX: Better Transmission, slightly more passenger and cargo space, established brand (affects resale value), lower base price and of course, Honda's reputation for reliability GV70: Leans more to the sportier side with extra HP and is noticeably quicker, more than one engine option, has all wheel drive as standard. Leaning towards the GV70 for now given that i'm looking for a relatively 'sportier' car, but yet to check out the Lexus.
I’ve driven both and the RDX is more fun but the GV70 is the superior vehicle and would be my choice over the RDX. Cannot go wrong with either however.
Man, a 2022 brand new car, and yet the windshield is already completely dirty with wipers leaving super annoying visible streaks and inprints at the stop range marks...
I'm about to pull the trigger on a new RDX and couldn't decide over the Advance or A-Spec Advance. I wasn't thrilled about the red dials in the A-Spec, I could hardly read them in the daytime and had to rely on the heads-up display for information. After watching this, I'd probably really hate the red dials at night. I think I'll just get the regular Advance.

I wouldn’t mind owning any of them, but I’d prefer the Genesis GV70, not gonna lie.
Agree with you there, SH AWD and a better transmission is most likely why I'll choose this over the GV70
“Famous Honda reliability” man get out of 1996 Honda reliability has been an absolute mess these past couple of years
The RX doesn’t compete with the RDX
@@steven5509 And why not?
2016 RDX owner ready to settle on this!! So pretty

I'm glad the video was helpful!
Super Amazing Night Shift POV Drive As Always Bro 20/20 😎
Really great night time POV. Acruas are nice.
Acura has to do better with their ambient lighting strips.
new TLX and MDX are way better this is a slightly older vehicle
It was just refreshed for 2022, and the new TLX has a similar ambient lighting display.
That color is just beautiful

Also got the advanced, as I disliked the red gauges and lower profile tires offered on the A-spec.
Appreciate the night pov!
You bet! 👍
ELS has to be one of the best in the business.
Really wish they would get rid of the red lights in the gauge cluster
Interior is really nice not gonna lie
Hopefully mine arrives soon 🤞🏾

i don’t think the gv70 is awd standard

Thanks for sharing your impressions!
Always good to see light displacement and colors on wet dark roads. Gosh automakers need to develop better lights that can adapt to those conditions.
I wish they would incorporate more ambient lighting into the doors especially the rear passenger doors

the oem wipers are never the greatest from factory
Did the wipers auto start?
Great review, but for 0-60 test, it is faster in D instead of S because S holds the gears longer.
How's suspension feeling over road imperfections at 60+ mph does it feel harsh or dampened?
You feel the bumps, but it's not harsh - especially for this price point
How did that steering wheel feel ?
Road noise seems pretty loud. Was that the case ?

El servicio de una cura, cada cuantos km se realiza?
Very nice car. California roads seem in poor condition.
Mine makes brakes noise after car wash
The red lights in the instrument cluster look hard to read. Do you agree or is it just how they're coming across in the video?
They're easier to read in person, but I agree that red lighting isn't as easy to decipher at night as blue or white
Like what do you even need em for? There’s a HUD you barely look at the clusters anyway
