I Think those Analog Gauges are Very Underrated… it gives a Sense of Classiness and Just So People Understand, A 64 Impala is Outdated, Yet People Love it Due to Its Layout Configuration… I’ll Go On Record and Say That This 2022 Edition will Be A Well Sought Out Classic 50 Years From Now.
I was going to buy a new one upgrading from 2019 RDX A-spec with extremely low mileage and babied @ 20k miles. UNTIL dealer pisses me off and jack up $1k due to low inventory, selling at MSRP and added other fees. I’ll wait until the car market cool off and manufacturers inventory back to normal. No rush to buy one now.
Don't buy it I had a 2019 RDX A SPec sold it. It wad Red Pearl. Car is over rated. It's not like the 90 Acura Legend. Infotainment system was fixed for unable to change drive mode, sat in the garage for 2 months same issue appeared. Dealer said they had to call Acura to see if they would cover it. I said why are you telling me this fix the damn car! Dealer was Rallye Acura in Long Island. Acura and the dealerships are crap. Showed the dealership a picture and they said that was not proof with a time and date meta data. I would avoid Acura. They released the car and can not fix it. Also NY city gas mileage is like 9 to 12 way under what the EPA guide rating is. Driving on a highway a car was in the off ramp RDX hit the brakes. The off ramp car was completely out of my way. Really sad, The only thing I can say is the car had pep. but after that thrill went away the car is not a 90 Acura in quality fit or finish. Look at other cars.
I got a 2023 RDX A-Spec at MSRP, arriving next month. Dealer did originally have a small increase and they gave the whole supply/demand talk but I managed to negotiate right down to MSRP. If they can't give it to you for that, you should definitely walk out and try again next time.
@@ontarioman6301 I live in NYC and drove it like grand pa car got 9 to 12 I had a 2019 A Spec AWD Red Pearl.. If I drive the car like a lunatic I could expect poor gas mileage. I had a loaner MDX A Spec when the car was in for the Fuel pump recall. It got 17 in city driving. That is a big difference. The RDX is over rated. I had a Acura 90 Legend L 4 door. That car was a real Acura. I wanted to love the car but infotainment disaster, City gas mileage horrible, Fit and finish poor, Acura service 2 on a 5 scale. Change my oil didn't rotate my tires on my free first scheduled oil change. I take my 92 Lexus to Midas for oil and they rotate my tires for free. I am not trying to influence you but just stating what has happened to me with the New RDX Acura. They are not A luxury brand. They are now a want a be car company. Even Acura Customer support is a joke. Treat you like a POS after you have a complaint. I will get a new Lexus NX or RX. Lexus service is Number one.
The Genesis GV70 for a few reasons. Better interior, superior user interface, and if you're opting for the 3.5T you're getting a better performing crossover although I think the 2.5T is more than enough for a daily driver
Oh man Ive never owned an suv but I took an uber once in an mdx and was like this is nice not trading in my stinger anytime soon but this rdx is looking like a nice family car
Waited 7 months for a specific color of the interior and exterior the car. None were available within 250 miles of my home. Finally my NH dealer says my car will be built by the end of this month. But with price increase of the 2023 and Interest rate increases have now giving me absolutely no financial incentive from the manufacturer to buy the car. It will now cost me over 150 dollars or more a month to buy it then 7 months ago. Is it worth it? These negative remarks makes me now wonder. I suppose I will still consider it; but I sure miss the old days of wheeling and dealing for a new car.
For $52,000 you can have the top of the line Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy with a ten year power train warranty and a five year bumper to bumper warranty , the features you get with the Palisade Calligraphy and the warranty makes it a better value .
Terrible infotainment 6:10 Weak/always shifting trans 13:30 and 15:30 Poor MPG compared to the 8 speed competition. Dealbreaker for many for the aforementioned reasons.
@@rahimi4762 keep dreaming. It's crap. Screen lockups mouse should got right to right not right to left. I know better. ACURA is a wanna be car company. Oh and Acura service or the wanna be service is not even close to Lexus.

I own this vehicle, since May of last year. My only criticism is that it doesn't come with a spare tire
Runflats?

@@pethcir Good luck. Acura is not Acura any more. Trust me. It's over hyped.
I heard the gas mileage is lower than Acura stated. Friend sold his and bought a 2018 which gets much better mileage

Excellent review!
Love the RDX, but I can"t believe Acura is using standard bulbs for the light flashes at the rear.
Less Than a Hundred Dollars To Upgrade to LED Lighting for the Rear So No Big Deal here.
Great review (as always) on an amazing vehicle! My take is that I’ll wait for the PHEV version of this wonderfully sensible SUV.
You'll be waiting a while
I own this vehicle. I just wish it didn’t shift 4 times before getting to 30 mph. Otherwise it is a very nice place to be
In your opinion which would be a better vehicle to purchase the Acura RDX or the Genesis GV70? Both seem to be priced around $55k

how do you get 8.2 inch ground clearance? Acura says it's only 5.7 inches??
acuranews.com/en-US/releases/2023-acura-rdx-specs-features
@@BostonAutoBlog impressive! Pilot/MDX only has 7.3 inches of ground clearance
I’m not a fan of the rear nor the interior but that front looks amazing in black
Acura it’s time for a touch screen, great review, I’m waiting for the new model , this one is outdated. I’m driving a 21 year old mdx.

I'd go with something else if I were in the states... in canada its 15% cheaper
Just wish the hp was in the 3's
100% agree. We need a Type S model for the RDX
And….there was a hybrid option.
I just wish my actual mileage in this car was in the 2’s 😂😂😂
Thank You Almighty God, I will buy one for myself
I’d take this over the Lexus any day.

Hyundais leak oil. I’ll never own one.
Hyundai is known to void warranties for no reason. So, that's a 10-year fantasy not warranty.
Top of the line Hyundai. Nice.
Had a Hyundai Tucson 2016, pos, burned a quart of oil every hundred miles and eight recalls.
For the reliable Acura is way better.
Way to much for little

Yes NY city is like 9 to 12. Piss poor. Fit and finish is crap. Parts to not align properly.

Infotainment is easier to use. U have to use it first
