It doesn't matter what you do in life if you can't find happiness in the small things, no amount of money, luxuries, or career will make you happy. I am in my 30's and my life has been one big clusterf*** but I always find beautiful things to surround myself with whether it is music like this, reading books, or waking up and watching a sunrise every now and then. Life is not so bad and can be enjoyable with very little.
Ambient, classical, smooth jazz, but none of them calm me as much as JRPG music does. I blame FF9s sappy love story when I was 10yrs old. The music and text from ff9 put something in me that still lingers it seems.
"Reminiscence" came up second and I just...closed my eyes. My sister and I never finished the game and to this day I don't know where the story went, but the music stuck with me
@@joonpak We had reasons! That was twenty years ago, the game would go missing, the PS2 died, I couldn't fight for shit, she couldn't make it past Miguel... I do plan to get the remake and try it again, maybe I'll get the hang of those stinking spells.

I do listen to this while studying but the music is very emotional. It makes me imagine me and my "friends" exploring the world together. Unfortunately, I'm in a very lonely time with no friends atm. But music like this is a nice break from reality.

JRPGs are dead. WRPGs took over. We may not have Final Fantasy VII's anymore, but we've got Witcher 3's. Thank God. Still, I will always miss the classics. Still so many feels.

There is something to be said about the olden days and the "golden age of RPG", but you just have to look and gems are still present nowadays, and they'll end up becoming the nostalgia of a whole new generation.
Can I just say thank you for mixing the songs across the games up - as much as I love a game's soundtrack I don't want to listen to an entire game soundtrack before moving onto the next!
