the 2014 intro captured the show perfectly, it was a show about reviewing cars (doesn't matter supercars or not) while they also did some chaotic, crazy, fun stuff to watch especially with a trio that has funny personalities. the Jeremy-Richard-James era was the best
I love how all the intros are exactly what you would expect from the respective time periods. The 80s one is exactly what you would expect a car show from the 80s to have, and so on.

It’s cool how they’ve used the same song for 40 years
After the 2000s, that wasn't Top Gear's theme

2014 intro is what I think of when someone says “top gear”
Composer in 1999: How much bass do you want?
you missed the best one of all:
I was eating a subway sandwich in a mall when I first heard Clarkson got the boot. Never eaten there again.

I loved top gear as a little kid. Like honestly I remember crying as an 11 year old kid when Clarkson's Top Gear got cancelled.
I dont like the 2016, 2017 intros because it has no clarkson, hammond or may in them
Rip Top Gear 1977-2001 and 2002- 2015
I think 2011’s intro truly captures what Top Gear is.

You can just tell when the boys joined... and when they left.

Haven't seen anyone else mention it yet but the way the title screen fits with the music at
