  • Did you know that in Europe women are paid 16% less than men on average? This is the equivalent of working 2 months for free every year. Here is a video that explains some of the gender gap gap.
It is time to end this unfair situation and that is why we are marking the Unequal Pay Day for 2019 - Monday 4 November.

This may be so in Europe, though I doubt it, but there is no pay gap in the U.S.

Moan Moan Moan, even at the video end you still use the 16% gap figure that doesn't include the hours worked for it. Please dear women do come and work all the hours including overtime that men do, that makes up 10% of that difference. It's really good for your health and quality of life, I'm sure you'll love it. Oh but please do ensure you apply for all the physical labouring, crappy dirty dangerous jobs that men do, hmm why do I suspect you might not be too bothered about those. You state nursing is just as valuable as engineering? Oh come on, you might as well say flipping burgers is as valuable as nursing. Jobs are mostly paid relative to the level of knowledge and intelligence required. A lot more people of either gender have the ability to become a nurse than a chartered engineer, hence nurses get paid less.
