I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks he's adorable. I binged all the Mr Moto movies back over last winter and he was awesome. It's especially amazing that he was in pain the entire time too from underlying issues. I also love him later on in the Corman comedy-horror films alongside Price and Karloff.
I've loved Peter Lorre in everything I've seen him in. He was TRULY talented, and was believable in at least most of the films I've seen, even when the rest of the cast or story wasn't!
Recently I'd found a SUPER cute clip of Peter singing in an old German movie called Was Frauen Traümen. He's got a great singing voice and while he's playing the piano he bounces a little on the sear and it's just so abshddvshxhfb 🥺💕❤️
@twiliaarts1939 just the clip, unfortunately, but I found the whole movie here on UA-cam. It's called was frauen traümen. There's another cute scene I found from Secret Agent (1936) when his character is first introduced and he's chasing after a maid in an attempt to flirt with her. When he rushes after her he says "hello! Dear! Sweetie! I love you!"
omg,,This vision is full of Peter Lorre’s cuteness and humor! When I saw this video, I wanted to scream! So cute!Thank you very much for making it. It's my favorite spiritual food recently.☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️
My favorite actor of all time! Great edits, I was giggling through the whole video! :D If you want to see more of Peter being impossibly adorable, check out these romantic comedies: "I Was An Adventuress" (1940) and "I'll Give a Million" (1938). He's almost too cute. 🖤
The all time funniest for me was on Route 66. He is playing himself but gives a false name at a hotel. The clerk says, hey you look just like Peter Lorre. And Lorre answers, "That's rather insulting don't you think?"
My new favourite video!! He's too cute 😭 it's midnight and I'm trying not to wake everyone up but 3:52 sent me 😂 (also if you haven't already you should definitely check out The Maltese Falcon!)
@@twiliaarts1939 ah understandable, Bogart's not my cup of tea either, I just skip to all the Joel Cairo scenes too 😆Crack Up has some funny scenes if you're making another edit! He also did some radio skits that are worth checking out :) can't wait to see the next video
He's so cute in the "The Face Behind the Mask" clips. I might need to watch the whole thing. :) 4:43 - I know he's a villain in this movie, but I feel so bad for him, poor baby.
this is wonderful! I first saw arsenic and old lace when I was 12; I showed it at a sleepover and then we had 12-year-olds running around school quoting it. the day we learned about The Oregon in social studies?! pure mayhem. but all the peter lorre lines were our favorite. well… bon voyage!
I never knew that! That's kind of brilliant. I do know of MANY many cartoon character based off of him, such as Boo Berry, Yecht from Rankin/Bass' Mad Monster Party, and pretty much every other character in Tim Burton's animated films(like the maggot in Corpse Bride), lol.

Would love to see more of Mr. Moto as well as his great line from Casablanca as Ugarte (to Bogart):"You despise me, don't you?" ...And what about the dark comedies he did later in life with Vincent Price? Also worth mentioning is the fact he was Charles Addams' inspiration for Gomez Addams.
What a carather kids today dont know what there missing this guy was the ultimate horor giant along with peter cushing, bela lugoshi, vincent price and cristopher lee hroro is about people crying, jumpscares or depreasing its the feeling, the setting, thsg creepy offputting charm that lorre squeezed out so perfectly yet people under the age of 40 probey wont know who he is even todays genration would cluess who this legend is
@@AaronMeade-gj9pl I beg to differ. Despite knowing who old actors are or not doesn't make you uncultured or inferior. I think everyone has their own different likes and dislikes and that's what makes the world go round. It's the same thing today that the hippies experienced in the 60s: The previous generation doesn't like how they're doing things so they act like their all that different, but I've been greatly blessed in finding 40+ aged people who care and are interested in modern entertainment as well as folks younger than 20 who like old entertainment.
Gilbert Gottfried's Amazing Collosal Podcast. They talked about the old film industry and brought on old actors worthy of remembering. Beyond hilarious, and very touching at times. Plus it's Gilbert Gottfried.
My favorite lil spooky guy🥺🥺🥺🤏🤏

Oh my gosh, that was so funny! The laugh at the end. 😂😂😂

I loved what he said about his daughter, “She has my face, but on her it’s looks cute.”

Oh, so many moments opposite the great Sidney Greenstreet - there are some priceless reactions to Greenstreet from Lorre in "Mask of Dimitrios:.
Mask of Dimitrios is one of my favorite movies ever, I could make a whole video by itself just from that one, lol
So THAT'S where Porky Pig get that Mr. Motto reference from ^^
