I miss Malaysian food so much, haven't been to Malaysia since 2019 due to the pandemic. I'm so glad I found your videos (actually my husband did), they remind me of all the good food and also the lovely people that are still there! Can't wait to return and eat durian, nasi lemak, curry mee and everything else I'm craving again. Thank you for your excellent videos, love your enthusiasm when you find something delicious to eat.
We just returned from a 4 day trip to Penang and we absolutely love it (though we have to admit that George Town is a rather dirty town that needs maintenance and upgradings). Our top favourites: 1) Kek lok Si temple, 2) Peranakan museum, 3) Blue Mansion, 4) friendly welcoming locals, 5) architecture of buildings that are combines colonial and straits Chinese design, 6) China House pub and 7) the many charming little temples spread all over the place - how beautiful!!!
Lieles says you got him hooked with the free shuttle so he doesn't have to walk hahaha So much British influence, it actually gives me a feeling of a Caribbean Island, like the Bahamas, or even Cuba in a way. Obviously is the colonial architecture that makes it look similar.
George Town looks so cool, the building architecture looks really beach side colonial which gives it a nice vibe. The city also looks really well kept will def be checking out those Jetti's thanks to your last video. Looking forward to heading out there sometime in the future. Thanks for the video guys!
In my younger days, I drove my new car, first generation proton satria to Penang with my ex KLCC colleague fren from KL within two hours, just for a dinner at d Ship in Batu Ferringi beach n return to KL after midnight.
This video is beautifully made guys!! It brings back a lot memories of our last visit to George Town, Penang. Yup the food is definitely the highlight. Hahaha There's never a shortage of food at all. 😍
Hi there! Penang is a great place for a food trip. There are lots of choices. Ipoh is perfect for a short getaway with good options for food as well. Hope you have an amazing trip!
Oh yes.... food!! Hawker Center has to be amazing, so many people go there to eat, and so many content creators feature this food court center. Love those trishaws, but not sure Lieles can ride one of them. Awesome top list guys, so happy to see videos from you! Miss you
Hello... I am planning to go to Malaysia in April and I have 7 nights. So do you suggest I fly into Malaysia and just go straight to Penang? Do I connect with a bus?
I'd suggest to spend a bit of time to explore Kuala Lumpur. The bus is a great option. Alternatively, you could also take a train to Butterworth station in Penang.
I am confused between Entopia by Penang Butterfly Farm Vs The Top penang. We are a family consisting of aged people and no children. I would highly appreciate if you can help me decide.
fake info. if you see a long queue in food, that is not a good one. youtuber copy and paste without giving a correct and latest info. We Penang fellow never go to that place. :)
I have to admit (I have been in Penang now for a week) and this place is sooooo boring 😄 no streetfood courts basicly at all. In Thailand there were like thousand times more + it was cheaper even in Koh Phangan. Also here is basicly 90% of chinese food cos I dont think that Malaysians have anything good to offer when it comes to proper food 😔 some shitty indian restaurant ofc but the question is: where is all the good mindblowing food?
Georgetown is such a dreamy colonial place. I loooove the architecture there...
Penang is one of my top bucket list places I want to visit, the architecture looks amazing, and a foodie paradise.
