We could eat so many samosas at once. That crunch! I think we would love all of these. We need to eat more Kuih. Yum, that rojak looks so good as well. Sweet potato sauce? Interesting. 🤔
Yup, sweet potato sauce with peanuts. Very delicious combo with the vegetables and fritters

Like a freaking kid "i want that" "i want that" hahaha
LOL out inner child is always screaming too 😂😂😂

Awesome food review, we want to try all. Cendol i one of our favorite.
Thank you so much! Cendol is our favourite too 😄
nice video thanhk
Ohhhh yeah, we're snack people. Man, we still need to try cendol. Muar chee reminds us of mochi. Those pastries look perfect for breakfast too. Never heard of these. So nicely packaged.
Muar chee is pretty similar to mochi. Just that the filling is coated outside instead
Japanese Mochi is a loanword of the Hokkien word Muar chee. There are many other Chinese loanwords have been Japanised today.
Pasembur with the sweet potato sauce.. you covered all the good snacks today! If we ever make it to Penang, we know what to try 👍
These are definitely must haves in Penang. Haha hopefully you get to enjoy them soon!
I really love this episode because so many dessert selections haha🤣 definitely very good guide when we travel to Penang ☺

Haha we totally ate a few boxes ourselves
We haven't tried Ais Tingkapbefore. Really want to try those, kind of thirsty right now, I just wish we have ais tingkap here haha..
Cendol Come from Indonesia...
I'm still amazed by all the places in Malaysia that have been open for such a long time! You don't really get that in London
It's good to see the businesses handed down over the generations
Pasembur looks nice, never try it before
Hopefully soon! 😉
Food and Footprints introduced me to Kuih, I want to have some SO BAD 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Muar Chee I think would give me texture problems but I would be down to try it anyway
Him Heang! Remember when you guys bought us these tasty treats 🤤 Awesome you got to taste them fresh out of the oven. Those flaky Beh Teh Saw were our favorite
Great pairing with coffee too. We knew you guys would enjoy it 😍
Mntpzzzz
My favorite!. Second I loved the curry puff and the Indian Roti Chani with curry broth..
Hell, I love all Malay street food with an Anchor beer..!
Makan La!
Come to Indonesia more 1001 Delicious Food N Beverage Fixed No debat
Seeing this make me think why did i live in kl..everything is expensive here!
Apom is something I have never had. Looks really interesting. That crispy thin pancake looks so good, I want to try that for sure. Ais Kacang is something I'm really interested in. I think I have gained 1,000 calories just watching. Thanks for taking us around.
Haha thanks! Penang is known to be a food haven. People from all around the country come here for the food haha
Rojak 101! Glad we ate it with you guys - that stall was awesome. And paired with umbra juice 🤤 Yesss come for the rojak and stay for the view! We got such a great sunset that night
Yea, that was one of the most amazing sunset we've ever seen. Glad to have experienced it with you guys!
can you make a list of products that you can get exclusively in penang? like their coffee for example..
We definitely need to try pasembur next time! Looks like a kinda healthy meal haha.
We will enjoy the crunchy stuff in pasembur for sure :D
Oh so I thought it's peanut sauce? but you said it's sweet potato sauce?
It's sweet potato sauce. Incredible flavour. We miss it so much!
You guys started with the best dessert in Penang, es cendol!
So happy we had tried Penang Road Famous Teochew Cendol before. Will definitely come back for more if we visit Penang again 😍
The Him Heang building looks FANCY like a lawyer's office lol
Your videos for penang is quite a good guide. May i know how you travel in that state? By grabcar / walking / driving?
Thank you so much! We actually took the bus and Grabcar most of the time especially in Georgetown because parking spaces are limited at most places. But I'll recommend driving if you'd like to visit other areas around Penang. Thanks for asking 😄
Enjoying your videos and following you guys, but can you please show the prices for everything you buy, be it food, entry tickets, whatever. It will be very helpful resource for the viewers. Cheers!
Thank you very much for your feedback. We'll include them in our future videos from now on. Glad to know it helps the viewers a lot. Cheers to you too! 😄
"in a hot day... As in every day" 😂😂😂
LOL 😂😂
Makes me miss Penang food (and travel in general) and can't wait for state borders to reopen! The snacks you had looked delicious! If you're in KL, visit Pasar Malam Ampang Mewah for tasty night market food 🤤 I made a vlog in my channel. Thanks and good luck
Thanks for the suggestion! We'll check out that Pasar Malam 😄👍
Tambun biscuits look delish. İs it bad that i feel i should drink a glass of red wine with it? Am i being weird?
Lieles says I'm being a drunk hahaha
Haha absolutely not! Go nuts with it haha
🤔 hmmmm its hard in Malaysia cause you have so many snacks that you start eating some snacks between meals to tie you over like chendol or muar chee and then before you know it you've also eaten a whole meal worth of snacks and drinks and that's it you're full already 😂 🤔 only one we haven't tried is that crusty caramel biscuit 😯 looks really tasty
That's so true. You can never get hungry in Malaysia. That biscuit is one of my (Puri) all time favourites.
İ was about to ask, so is it like a crispy pancake? So can you have this at any time of the day? Or you only find them at night?
The lady only opens in the evenings. But great after dinner snack for sure
Latest price update is RM4.50 for chendol May 2023
There can be no food item of Penang that anyone can complain about. They are not too heavy or too light and the taste are all quite if not very acceptable. Counter comments welcome.
anyone know if the kuihs have cows milk? or is it just coconut milk?
It's just coconut milk
Hi how can we get connected for collaboration?
