Stan took me on the same journey back in 2019. Just talked to him yesterday for an hour or so...such a great friend.
This is the second interview I've seen with Stan. Tells a good story everytime. Been a fan of Carl's music for many years, my brother collected his SUN records back in the 50's. Sad story about the brothers. May they all rest in peace now. 💜🌷🎸

Great video spa guy. Always interesting hearin these stories of pioneers of rock a billy and Country western legends such as Carl Perkins . Back in the early 80s Stan had a few hits of his own .

Outstanding video, Billy. You get the best out of your interviews. Not only was this informative, entertaining, and - at times - hilarious, it was also very heartfelt and emotional. Great history here and Stan tells it like no other. He seems to be a very well put together guy. Sounds a lot like his father, too. That laugh he throws out when telling the lawn mower story sounds like his daddy at the end of that Paul McCartney duet "Get It" from Paul's 1982 album "Tug of War." Anyway - this was well worth the wait. So glad to see you posting. Pray all is well for you and the family. You always do a fantastic job! Keep'em coming, brother. How cool would it be to be driving around and you pull up to a stop light and look over and there is Carl Perkins son and Spa Guy in a Corvette sitting at the light next to you. I love hearing Stan telling these stories. I hope you do more videos of him. There's not enough information out there about Mr. Carl. I shared a hometown with him, but sadly never got to meet him or see him live.

What a sad situation for Stan Perkins , and definitely a shame for the brothers not to have been able to overcome that alcoholism, and they make such a fuss over cigarettes why cant society do the same for alcohol and street drugs ? such a talented family Thank You Billy again for bringing us first hand information straight from the horse’s mouth “ as the old saying goes! He did but there was an artist in England who recorded Blue Sueded Shoes and made Carl a Ton of money.. Carl's family still gets paid from his catalog and has for over 65 years..
This is good Billy. I hadn’t seen it before. I loved Carl Perkins too. Stan is so cute. I loved his story. The scarf story was so cool. So interesting. She was beautiful and must have been very smart cause she knew how to handle the pressure that goes with a man who’s successfully working like Carl Perkins did. Billy that was a excellent video. This is in Jackson Tennessee Sam is in Memphis..
I grew up in Jackson TN in the mid 80’s actually seen Carl Perkins and his wife .Jackson Tn use to be a very nice place but the demographics changed and it’s not great anymore
And to think his buddy George Harrison died only three years after Carl.
Stan is the same age as Alex Van Halen.
