This is for Hani! I'm sorry it took so long. Here is the previous beading tutorial I did:

Thanks for the tutorial. I've never stitched a Mira, but now I REALLY want to stitch one after seeing your beautiful work.
+SewCandyFloss I hope you do! They are really rewarding and beautiful!
Thanks for all of your videos. They are so informative. I just started adding beads to my cross stitch projects, and your videos have been so helpful. This finished piece is so beautiful. I am working on the Queen Anne's Lace fairy from the Just Cross Stitch magazine, and she requires so many beads. After watching your tutorial, I was able to attach my first ten beads on her dress. It was nerve racking but I did it! Thanks!
+Maureen Habeeb I am SO glad Maureen, thank you for sharing that with me! Good luck with your beading, that is a beautiful pattern!
She looks beautiful all beaded up McKenzie well done, happy stitching xx
+crossstitchbutton Thank you Maureen!
Great tutorial! She is stunning!
Wow! She is amazing! The beading really finishes the Mira's! Love it, fantastic job 😊
+Jennifer Apodaca Hey Jennifer! It's crazy how much it adds, right? Happy new year :D
Watching your tutorials I have an itching desire to do beading :), never did though. Thank you McKenzie!
+Danute Verikaite Wow, great! You should give it a try :D
I will, have a mill hill kit with many beads! :) Thanks again!
Thanks for sharing, love all of your videos
+Christine Cannon Thank you Christine!
Such a cool and helpful vid! Thanks a lot :-D Will definitely come back to this when I get to beading my Joan Elliott's.
+Darling Bluebell Thank you so much, I'm glad!
Yay! Added to my watchlist...I know what I'm doing this weekend 😊
+Jennifer Harvat Jennifer, you are too sweet!
Thank you for this tutorial. I just started using a few beads and it helps! Btw I have your exact same Mexican blanket on my stitchy chair!!!
+Orietta Stitch I love those Mexican blankets! We have a couple in my house. That one pretty much officially belongs to the cat now ;)
She is soooo pretty! Lovely work.
+Organic Granny Thank you!
Lovely tutorial for a lovely project. Thanks for taking the time to make the video.
+Febby Marsh Thank you for watching!
Thankyou so much for your video. This is an awesome tutorial. So far I have only beaded one project, but I have quite a few more to do and this video makes me understand the whole process so much better!! A big THANKYOU!! :)
+Stitchy Booknut I'm so glad! Yay! Thank you :D
Great tutorial! :D Yay for sparkly sparkly treasures! xxx
+Emily Chadwick SOOOOO many sparkly treasures!
Great video. Full of useful info.
+toni spencer Thank you Toni!
Looks great! Makes me want to pull mine out and work on her this evening.
+Emily C (eclecticpossessions) Ooh, did you?
I did briefly. Then started Mermaid's Folly, then back to Angel of Love after my hiatus. I have stitching ADD lately. :)
She is called The Resting Fairy. It is like she is resting on a branch. I like her the best. I also started Fairy Flora. These are older Mirabilias about 1994ish I think.
+laura tyler How pretty! I just recently got Fairy Flora too, I love those older patterns.
Thanks so much for making this tutorial! Do you do all your beading in hand? Do you wash/iron your project before beading? After beading?
Thank you for watching Dawn! I have done all of my beading in hand thus far. I usually try to give it an ironing before beading (because I stitch in hand and roll it up to hold it, I tend to get a lot of creases), I don't usually touch it after beading. I should probably give it another ironing but it's never been too much of a problem.
Thanks for answering my question! I'm never sure about the particulars of those kinds of things, so thanks for sharing!
Thank you.. Its very usefull...
Sweet. .thank you x
Great video. Thanks so much. I'm still a bit nervous when it comes to beading, but you make it look easy. Your project looks beautiful. But I know what you mean about seeing the face in the wing now. Got to laugh. Cheers!
+Dee Mcc Thank you Dee! I still get a little nervous (I will be nervous when I get to beading my Chatelaine for instance), but I figure what's the worst that could happen. I just might have to take it out and try again, which I have done my fair share of!
She's beautiful!
+Tina Healey Thank you Tina!
Thank you!! Can I ask what size needle do you use for beading?
+stdwynwen I can't remember the size of that exact one I was using but I really like these ones:
123stitch.com/item/Mill-Hill-Applique-Beading-Needles/123-40221
They're shorter than regular beading needles so I don't stab myself quite so much when I use them. Haha!
Hi Lovely,
Off topic: Having watched your Save the Stitches vids, do you think Blackwork is cross stitch or embroidery? This particular pattern looks more like embroidery except for the frames.
+xx courtr5877 Hello! I would agree - I actually think it's just backstitching because there aren't really any specialty stitches.
Great tutorial and a closer look at Peridot Fairy. How do you frame something with such a huge treasure on it? Thanks :)
+Stitching Joanne That is an excellent question - I think typically, or traditionally anyways, you frame without glass overtop? I don't have any plans to frame this one but I think that's what would be best.
Ah yes, forgot about that lol
Hi, just discovered your channel. Do you stitch on 28 or 32 ct linen? thanks!
Hi Lynda,
I don't really care for linen too much but I like both 28 and 32 ct evenweaves.
She is a gorgeous Mirabilia . What is the chart name? The video did give me the idea on how to attach my beads and treasures when I get to that point on my Mirabilia ! Thanks! ☺️🙋🏼
+laura tyler Thank you! This is August Peridot Fairy. I should have a more complete finish video for her out soon :) Which Mirabilia are you working on?
Thank you! 😊
+Janet Coker Hey, I hope it was helpful!
I have to admit I didn't learn a thing during this video. I was too distracted by your gorgeous project and was not actually listening, just drooling on my computer. Holy cow. I have to watch it again now, so thanks a lot for that. (insert angry emoticon) I have a question though: what do you mean by "anchored with a cross stitch." No knots. How are you anchoring the strand? On the back?
+lindystitches Ahaha oh Steph. You silly.
Oh shoot I never know how to explain this. It's not the knot start and it's not the loop start, it's when you leave a tail on the back from the first leg of your first stitch and then catch it in the loop when you finish the stitch. Does that make any sense? I have no idea what it's called. I AM SO HELPFUL.
+thelovelyarray This thing! It's this thing! "Floss lasso".

+thelovelyarray Thank you! New thing!! Must try! Especially because it's called 'the lasso.' If only all of our cross stitch terminology was so cool....
